Happy New Year! Best wishes from SONM team! Thank you for being with us in 2017! Let's go to the 2018 and build the future together!

Thanks and my best wishes to the team. I really think your project can revolutionize the world as we know it!

So if im correct, if I hold Ardor in my NXT wallet, this means on launch i will be able to see those funds in the ardor wallet if i log in with my same NXT passphrase?

you can download the wallet now and login with your nxt address.

The Ardor wallet seems to only accept address beginning with "ARDOR". How to login with a "NXT" address?

I used my NXT adress.  It works and shows my right balance of ardor.

Where and how did you enter your NXT address in the Ardor wallet? I tried entering my NXT address in the login and it changed to begin with "ARDOR" instead of "NXT".

edit: nm, figured it out....i logged in with just my NXT password and it showed my ARDOR. I guess the ARDOR public address is the same as the NXT public address except that it's preceded with "ARDOR" instead of "NXT".

Yes, you got it right, they have the same address.

any comparison between SONM and GNT?

Yes, gnt doesn't keep up with deadlines and hasn't delivered anything lol

1) They planned to modify an open-source component but finally gave up since they were not able to achieve what they wanted to do with it. Unfortunately, this led to a 6 to 9 months delay on the original schedule.
2) Golem is in Alpha testing for a while now and you can try the product.

P.S Note that both projects share some components, like Docker and Ethereum.

any comparison between SONM and GNT?

Both projects have a lot of potential and I have a stake in SONM/GNT. It's really difficult to pick a winner right now and I want to be on the front seat for sure. If one of these two projects succeeds, I'll make a lot of money and the other can die! Tongue

P.S We are on a SONM thread, so I don't want to promote GNT here, just visit the other thread.  Cheesy

I hope for a new exchange office and continuation of the project in the next year.
I believe this is the moyda and the best project.
What the hell is moyda?

bittrex is on its way, they talked about how they're working with a few companies to get it going
They have said that since their ICO ended which have been 6 months ago but nothing happened until now.

Can we expect a surprise for the new year with a launch on new exchange? SONM needs to be on a high volume exchange to be pumped with daily volume of 500+btc.
Binance or Coinrail would be a good idea

sonm (snm) is already on binance Wink

Yep, I bought my first tokens for this project on Binance today. The process went well but I had to pay 20 SNM to withdraw my SNMs.

I am not sure. The exchange I know for sure that is supporting the upgrade is Bittrex.

Shiit, hope not to loose them.i held 1000 of it on exchange(hitbtc) for some emergency situation, lol.now hitbtc said you cant move ardor because of maintenance.i saw there people exchanging that still.

Happy new year!
thanks for your response, happy new year
But its says NXt coins on these exchanges are taking ignis after snapshot and say nothing about ardors.i have ardor token on hitbtc, after jan 1 release of ardor's mainnet all tokens on nxt wallet will transfer to main ardor wallet.i hope ardors on exchanges dont burn after ardor release.

Yep, you are right. I assumed that since they support the snapshot, your ARDR are also safe. You will need to wait and see.

RIP 11,100 ardor investment, thrown away in the trash like a moron (passphrase on USB)... you will be missed.

RIP 100k NXT you will be forever missed too.

/cry, this is my 2nd biggest fuckup, other than losing 1/3 Nemstakes.

BOYS, ALWAYS WRITE DOWN YOUR FUCKING PASSPHRASES!

No kidding, that's a lot of money left on the table. Next time, send them to my wallet and I will keep the paraphrase! Grin

The #Nxt hardfork was successful and the snapshot was taken at block 1636363. The trading with #Ardor, #Bitswift and all #Janus assets is no longer possible on #Nxt blockchain. All $NXT hoders will be able to see their $IGNIS balances when #Ardor mainnet wallet is released.

Interesting that they froze the ARDR asset.  I wasn't expecting that.   Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

More information on this:

Should be back to normal on January 1st.

hello everyone !
I hope someone can help me because I have just downloaded NXT and ARDR wallet. I am ok with NXT wallet, i haven't had problems and i can only receive and send NXT, no other coins (am i right?). But i have problems with Ardor wallet beacuse it says that i'm on a testnet so i shouldn't use my real passcode and saying that the testnet peer port is 26874 (what does it mean?), so i haven't been able to access my ARDR wallet. how can i do now? Tomorrow (28 dec) there will be 2 airdrops? one is ignis (number of ignis=n of NXT) and one is ARDR coin (number of ARDR coins = n of ARDR tokens)?

please help my understand all thi situation!!! =((((

For now, the real ARDR should be kept within your NXT wallet under assets. The ARDR wallet and testnet are just for fun and testing right now...Early January, the ARDR asset in your NXT wallet will be converted on a 1 to 1 basis. I hope this clarifies the situation.

so i can send ARDR even to a NXT wallet which starts with NXT-....(exc)? beacause i downloaded NXt wallet today, is this functionality supported even on the most recent version of the NXT wallet? I can't find a section in which i can see my ARDR balance
thank you in advance

Yes, that was the way to do it. Because of the snapshot  NXT/IGNIS that just occurred, I think the ARDR asset are now frozen until the main launch...You will need to dig a bit on this, I think it is too late now to send your ARDR to the NXT wallet.

I switched to Bitcoin Cash today. I had to pay $35 USD to get rid of my BTC which really pissed me off. I think the BTC community is sleeping big time, fees and delays are unacceptable. Where is the roadmap to solve these problems? I'm pretty sure BCC will provide a better return on my investment compared to BTC in 2018. I still hodl my Litecoins for now.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GNT] Golem Project - The world’s most powerful supercomputer on: December 17, 2017, 06:31:36 PM
After reviewing SONM and iEXEC, I decided to take a small position in Golem today. The potential for this project is amazing and if they can deliver an MVP next quarter, the price should go up big time. They also have enough money to complete this project in the future.

Hello. I understand about NXT-IGNIS airdrop... BUT just tell me WILL Bittrex swap my tokes for real ARDR or they will be worthless if i dont withdraw them now?

You need to transfer your ARDR into your NXT wallet (asset). Otherwise, you will lose your ARDR on the exchange.

I think this is a wrong statement, I'm sure ARDR held on exchanges won't be lost at all. People just need to withdraw their NXT to be sure to receive the IGNIS airdrop.

For users who keep their balances on a shared exchange account, it is the exchange account which will receive, on the Ardor blockchain, the above holdings airdrop.
https://www.jelurida.com/snapshot-instructions

So far, no exchange made a statement that they will distribute the received balance to their clients. Better to transfer ARDR to your own wallet.

If I keep my ardr on bittrex, will I still receive my ignis is during the snapshot?

Don't keep your ARDR on bitrex, you will lose your ARDR. IGNIS is associated with NXT, not ARDR.

As far as I know, Ignis is associated with Ardor, because Ignis is the first childchain of Ardor. But the "airdrop" of Ignis is only associated with NXT coins. The snapshot will be taken from the NXT blockchain and NXT holders will be the beneficials from this process.

yep, you are right, thanks to clarify my post.
