41  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Characteristic of trader on: January 31, 2018, 06:13:40 AM
Traders are those optimistic people who sees thing in a positive outcome despite any setbacks they may encounter. For you to become a successful traders you must be willing to take a risk but should be confident enough in choosing your target market. You should also be patience not all the time is a winning situation neither losing. Traders study their market and willing to learn everything to succeed in their chosen fields.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook is banning all ads promoting cryptocurrencies! on: January 31, 2018, 03:38:29 AM
Facebook is banning all ads promoting bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, including ICO.
Please see more details here Facebook is banning all ads promoting cryptocurrencies — including bitcoin and ICOs

How this will affect ICOs, Bounty programs and entire cryptocurrency market?

Well I think this will greatly affects the popularity of a crypto and even ICOs since facebook is consider to be one of the best way to promotes them. Doing signature campaigns alone does not guarantee that the project will become successful this one reason why social media is needed for advertisement. But somehow what happen to facebook will be a way to prevent promotions of ponzi sites that mislead many people from learning cryptos.
43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it enough? on: January 30, 2018, 11:58:09 PM
The number of bitcoin is only 21 million, is that enough for the future?
given the vision of bitcoin to become world currency?

what do you think of this?
Yes that supply is enough for the demand provided that the value will increase so that supply will become available and enough for the circulation. There's no way to increase bitcoin demand as much as we want to have more bitcoin that is one reason while alternative coins are introduce to divert the market demand of bitcoin.
44  Other / Meta / Re: Merit system for newbies on: January 30, 2018, 10:18:16 PM
The idea consists in giving new members a certain amount of points (let's call them benefits for simplicity), which they can use to reward users helping them here. It is sort of reflection of the merit system working in reverse order. The purpose of the proposed system would be twofold. First, it is drawing the attention of the long-standing members to the problems of the new user, and second, likely making the latter more constructive by providing a feedback mechanism. So this system would run in tandem with the merit system. You're welcome to discuss my proposal here. Just in case, this is not my idea, it was suggested by user PhuketSunset in this local Russian topic. I only formulated it and brought it here

A quick and dirty fix would be forbidding Legendary members to grant merits to other Legendary members (it is a waste of merits)

Not a bad idea but should you consider those account farmers who will actually benefit by this? they will get more opportunity to give merits on their other accounts might as well they only create new bitcointalk account just to collect those merits. With this issue I don't merit system will serve it's purpose properly and will only tolerate farming of accounts.
45  Other / Meta / Re: Merit working as it was intended or not? on: January 30, 2018, 09:33:28 PM
Actually the idea of merit system is good it aims to acknowledge individuals who make such quality posts which are most of the times being neglected by others. It will also lessen those spammers since their post quality needs to be improve to increase their ranks but in such cases merits has been abused by other since the requirement is quite big they need to beg from some friends for merits and this will not make the essence of merits work properly.

47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to know if an ico is serious or not? on: January 30, 2018, 05:52:24 AM
A good ICO provides complete information about the project same thing that the developers are always or most of the time available to discuss things that needs clarification another thing is that a good ICO are supported by most investors you can see their feedback to make your judgement more justifiable. There are lot's of ICO introduce in the market so we must learn how to pick the best one.
48  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Top reasons that leads to fail in trading on: January 30, 2018, 04:59:10 AM
Being emotional really is one that triggers failure not only in trading but also in any kind of investment because as much as you would like to hold your investment you got panic after hearing or reading bad news about it and decided to sell whatever you have believing it can save you from big lost. Another is putting your eggs in one basket it is really obvious  that many are afraid of trying other stuff and instead focus on one item which resulting to either a failure or success unlike if it is diversified chances of good income is likely to achieve
49  Economy / Speculation / Re: Transaction fees going down~ on: January 30, 2018, 03:00:45 AM
I think transaction fees are based on the current value of bitcoin because I notice when I transfer fund from my blockchain the fees are high when bitcoin value are low while fees are low when bitcoin value is high. Same thing happens to my other wallet and since bitcoin value start to pump slowly the fees are also starting to lessen. But I would suggest if you are from Philippines and have coins.ph better use it because it has no fees when transferring funds
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will cryptos be so volatile forever? on: January 29, 2018, 11:18:59 PM
When will we reach the state of more of less stable cryptocurrencies or it is in their nature and will never end?
I think volatility of bitcoin will never fades because this what's make bitcoin popularity these days and if bitcoin will have a fix value I don't think people will be attracted to it, it will become a normal currency and might be as valuable as it is today though volatility is a risky thing but it gives so much hope to a lot of people who wants income from investment
51  Economy / Gambling / Re: Your Primedice Strategy ..? on: January 29, 2018, 09:53:59 PM
I agree primedice is really a good gambling site though in my experience I haven't receive any significant amount but I enjoy playing it so far. With regards to strategy I don't think there's really a way or secret in winning to a gambling site I still believe that gambling has something to do with luck and no technique can ever help you to won  higher prizes, gambling is not made for profit generation and we must understand that
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is mining coming to an end? on: January 29, 2018, 04:59:58 PM
Not quite I believe mining is still profitable at this moment though there are really needs for a good technology for you to gain good profit from mining still I believe this will continue in being one of the profitable activities for people in crypto currency market. There are still lot's of coins that can be mined so I'm sure mining will continue to evolve as well as people who use to do this.
53  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC dominance halved on: January 29, 2018, 04:27:42 PM
People take alt coins as an option for investment  after gaining so much trust on bitcoin and since they saw the potential of most alts the demand increases which maybe the reason why the value of most alts appreciate. But in terms of paying more attention to alts I don't think that is really the case now because people are still focus on bitcoin it was just that they need to exert much effort in choosing a good alts for investment.
54  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning Strategy on: January 29, 2018, 02:20:42 AM
I also did the same stuff I don't have capital to begin with so I started with faucets then after I have ranked up as junior member I devoted my idle time doing signature and social media campaign. The earnings I get was kept and use for investment after saving enough for capital so up to this moment everything is earnings and continuously growing without any money put put on my pocket. It's really amazing and very rewarding for me.
55  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bustabit Under New Management on: January 28, 2018, 06:46:32 PM
As most of you know, I've been the owner/operator of bustabit for the last 3+ years. In that time it's grown to have become without a doubt the most wagered-at crypto gambling game (see: dicesites.com/bustabit).

It's been both a rewarding and stressing journey, but the time has come for it to end. I have sold the site to Daniel, who you likely know from bustadice.com to give me the time and energy to do some more meaningful things with my life (away from bitcoin gambling) =)

I'll still be around on the site to chat, and be an investor in v2.

We used the opportunity to launch v2 at the same time as the new ownership (hence generating a new hash chain, and deposit addresses), so things will probably be a bit rough for the first week or two, but I'm confident (almost) everyone will be happy.

I'll let Daniel create a thread for v2, but I'd encourage you to check it out. It's a bit rough, but a bunch of pretty cool features (like investing! and a crazy awesome deposit/withdrawal system)
I've been playing bustabit and bustadice and I really enjoy it. Good thing now migration of this two can be an option so that players will be more interested to join  this site also with this focus on one site will probably help the owners to maximize their profits and offer a much better gambling options. Congrats to the new owner and hoping for the best of bustabit and bustadice.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When do you predict coins will be stable again? on: January 28, 2018, 05:25:07 PM
In your opinion when do you predict alt coins will be stable again?
We must understand that crypto currencies are not created to have an stable price instead its fluctuations in one thing the is consider to be it's nature. Maybe those who want stability for coins are those who experience the value of bitcoin on it's all time high that is $20000 and believe that it is the stable price to be consider. If time comes cryptos will be having a stable value then I think it will lose its number one attractive features and that is being unpredictable or volatility.
57  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Canada is the best place for Bitcoin on: January 25, 2018, 05:14:22 AM
I am living in Canada and its so great that Canada has been attracting digital money companies to invest. Bitmain, the world's largest Bitcoin operator, is considering moving its operating office to Canada. At the same time, Hydro Quebec (Canada) negotiates with about 30 Bitcoin operators on their migration plans. How about your countries?
I thought Japan is the best place for bitcoin since this country is the first to adopt bitcoin in their market as well as supporting bitcoin exchanges. With the best technology I think Japan is still the one that can utilize bitcoin market effectively and will probably help it to become most popular cryptos around the world.
58  Economy / Gambling / Re: When a Gambler/Player Dies on: January 24, 2018, 11:45:55 PM
You are referring to gambling site not the bitcoin in an online wallet in this case the owners or developers of particular gambling site might take the fund just in case the account has been idle for a long period let's say a year or two because they can actually access their players account so I don't think the wealth of a deceased person will go to nothing but if their wealth in on the wallet alone that's maybe no chance of retrieval.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why peoples launching more coins everyday ? on: January 24, 2018, 10:45:21 PM
With the emerging market of cryptos it is really a great opportunity for developers to create their own coins and take the chance to become a big hit in the future and probably make them an instant millionaire. The market of cryptos are really good at this point in time no wonder many people want to take a shot and hoping they can earn what bitcoin has reached.
60  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency Banks: needed? on: January 24, 2018, 10:21:50 PM
it is good to have a cryto currency banks but I'm afraid this will only lead to incurring too much lose for the banks who would going to hold our funds since the value keeps fluctuating and seems that majority are to increasing value rather than deflation. I used to be in banking institutions that's why I don't just look on the benefit of depositors but also the bank that will hold our funds.
