Folks, ignore sock puppets from MRO, please. We ignore trolling and spam posts. We don't throw shit into the fan.
User support & infrastructure development of QCN coin are our main goals. QuazarCoin definetely has its strong sides and a great future ahead.
Beyond any doubts we are now competitive, which is why we are a target for provocations but I would like to urge you to disregard them.
Can anyone help me create a vote for a new logo?
I can help. Below is the thread for voting: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=628693New thread is below:https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=628924

I'm sorry, folks, I had no access to the Internet during the weekend.
All translators, creators of pools and other people who help with the creation of infrastructure PM me, if you haven't received bounty yet. Thank you for all!
Folks, I've revised the size of payments. From now on i am paying 80 QCN per translation into a subforum and 60 for a thread post.
I'll soon submit a list of languages which I already have.
I'll send all bounties in the evening.
Regards, O.S.
Where could I find the list of languages which you already have? I assume "the evening" you refer has passed, yet I haven't received any for a bounty. Thank you dev.

Maybe thats the wrong place to ask, but whats the difference between Monero, Fantom and Quazar? Pls be a little self critical if I may ask that of you. I know its the early stages for all of those new chains but maybe some differences may exist already, like dev team, community, vision, etc. Thx
Quote from: Brilliantrocket on May 19, 2014, 02:31:20 PM What is the advantage of QCN, compared to BCN and MRO? QuazarCoin requires 60 confirmations per transaction which enhances the protection against double-spending. Emission curve is more flutter, 50% QCN will be emitted in 6 years. Also QCN was launched without premine and instamine. I dont get it. 60 confirms per transaction?? That sounds like a huge disadvantage. That means I gotta wait 60x2mins= 2hours!! before I can spend my Quazars? I know this has been broad up before but I still dont fully understand. Pls explain. thx I thought 60 confirms (or 60*2mins = 2 hours) as unlock time for newly mined coins. https://github.com/quazarcoin/quazarcoin/commit/fad044e0ded3e9f821c0a40a139de36ef4ffc9eeThe link shows the differences between the original Bytecoin code vs. the first Quazarcoin code. Search for "60" and you will get: -#define CRYPTONOTE_MINED_MONEY_UNLOCK_WINDOW 10 // for Bytecoin (& maybe Monero) +#define CRYPTONOTE_MINED_MONEY_UNLOCK_WINDOW 60 //for Quazarcoin Newly mined coins are prohibited from being spent for 100 confirms (or 120 for the Satoshi client, ~17hours and 20hours respectively) in case of Bitcoin protocol. I've heard Monero developers discussing about the poorly chosen parameters (including the above), which Quazarcoin fixed.

My bitmonerod scores hashrate of 12 after an update of (0.8.8.1, updated: May 17th), which is four times higher than before. But my quazarcoind scores only about 1 h/s since the beginning, which is less than one tenth compared to the latest bitmonerod. Is something wrong with my computer? It's very strange. What OS do you use? Thanks for the response. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I use Windows 7 (64bit). Unfortunately my CPU is quite old though. ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) Edit: Anyway, I'll update binaries in the evening and hashrate will increase. My hashrate increased to 13 H/s ! ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif)

Of course, wallet files also differ. What do you mean by 'applies'? QuazarCoin software (like all coins which are based on the CryptoNote) doesn't relate to Bitcoin software.
The Bitcoin-Qt's blockchain and wallet files are compatible between different operating systems (Linux and Windows). Whereas in CryptoNote they aren't. A little bit inconvenient... ![Embarrassed](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/embarrassed.gif)

I know in CryptoNote technology, blockchain formats between Windows and Linux systems differ. But is this the case with the wallet file formats? I couldn't open a wallet file created with Ubuntu in a Windows environment. Also I want to know if this applies to Bitcoin-Qt software (blockchain, wallet file). Thanks.

Also, I found that the site designs of bitmonero.org and quazarcoin.org are both warm-orange and similar. Moreover, the icons in the "Downloads" section for various operating systems are all the same shapes among three sites (bitmonero.org, quazarcoin.org and fantomcoin.org). I feel like Monero is surrounded by a circle of three unknown entities.

When you use daemon do you use 'save' and 'exit' commands when you close the daemon window? If you don't do this, mistakes of such sorts may appear. They do not influence the work of the system and are not related to the attacks.
Thanks. I also found a few dark-yellow messages in the bitmonerod console, too. But they occur more often in Quazarcoin. Network topology? Maybe. I'm relieved to hear that they are not related to the attacks.

In case this may be a problem, I post the following image of a console window. http://imgur.com/go1MRRYThe dark yellow characters describing "unknown top block." I rarely see (or have not seen) this messages in a bitmonerod console. Is this related to a blockchain corruption attack which monero faced? Or possibly someone is trying selfish-mining attacks? Thank you.

I think that Zerocash is the most interesting project as the technology behind is the most advanced among them.

What's the total coins in supply right now?
At the block height of 30800, about 534k coins, due to my calc.

Binaries should be recompiled to catch up with Monero, the source code is the same. I'll ask NoodleDoodle to help with that asap. Does this affect both Windows and Linux versions? For a Linux user, simply compiling from the source would help in speeding up the hashrate?

Downloads will be available 5/8/2014 16:00 GMT Where are the binaries? It has passed 16:00 GMT hasn't it? I like the flatter emission schedule and longer block time of 2 min ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) . Where can I find a mining tutorial, please?

Please, count me in. I am interested in the FrictionlessCoin's NEX project. I found out
NXT was an attractive system, but I later discovered it had an arguable initial distribution
of all coins at once.
I think that encouraging wider distribution will promote the utilization of coins, which
should be the object of existence, not being held by a small number of people and piling
up a huge market cap.
Although the distribution problem may never be solved fairly, I think that NEX is one of
the promising candidates that deal with that problem better.
