45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a Scam - No more on: July 04, 2018, 11:32:30 AM
You are wrong with using the terms "it is used to be 'is Bitcoin a scam?'" Why? Because those mentality and descriptions are for those who are new on to Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, and those who are afraid and doesn't trust the capacity of Bitcoin. But then, it's been re-popular since the price went down.
46  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: KFC has accepted bitcoin payment in Canada? WOW! on: July 04, 2018, 11:21:37 AM
This is a common thing. Fast food restaurants not only KFC are onto the idea of accepting Bitcoin as a mode of payment. Last year, McDonald's do also shocked its customers that they will soon accept crypto. https://cryptodaily.co.uk/2017/11/mcdonalds-accept-bitcoin-2018/

Here, in Philippines, bills and payments do accepts Bitcoin.
Hence, it is "WOW!"-able, yet also has negative side.
47  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Do you trust your Bitcoin exchange? on: July 04, 2018, 11:02:38 AM
Bitcoin exchange is enough for me. Although its price falls drastically that makes everyone afraid and leave them panicking, its overall exchange to any currency is still worth a trust.
48  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should we Re-Brand Bitcoin? on: July 04, 2018, 10:49:46 AM
Re-branding bitcoin is like eliminating the mother of all cryptos. Bitcoin is already a definition of a cryto, and rebranding it would take effect in what the cryptos is.
49  Other / Meta / Re: [Guide] Reporting effectively on: July 03, 2018, 02:43:33 AM
I have a question sir. I just recently detected multiple accounts in a single bounty campaign, more specifically 5 accounts, all Jr. Member, 2 of those were both registered January 05, 2018 with a 5 min interval, and the another 2 accounts were registered April 17 with a 6 min interval. Should i post it on a thread or should I just let those 5 accounts join a single Bounty - Signature Campaign?
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment in ICO on: June 27, 2018, 10:26:24 PM
Try not just investing in ICOs. Try investing in Alts like ETH, XMR, XRP, or newly released and promising tokens. Try also trading cryptos for controllable profits and sure gain (if you are good enough).
51  Other / Meta / Re: Why my post is deleted by forum moderator in ann thread? on: June 27, 2018, 10:14:02 PM
What the hell? Bitcointalk moderators deleting posts with money?

What is wrong with you?

Calm down mate, why don't you ask it politely? No harm, right? There must be reasons for deleting you posts.

A reply of yours, quoted below, was deleted by a Bitcoin Forum moderator. Posts are most frequently deleted because they are off-topic, though they can also be deleted for other reasons. In the future, please avoid posting things that need to be deleted.

My language is not bad I am just surprised because I heard bad things about that. I was angry to situation not mods.

It is not just a simple post. I proved a scam and posted it in scam section also in that bounty&ann and I saw moderator deleted my post in ann thread. What the hell? Bitcointalk moderators deleting posts with money?

What is wrong with you?

It was probably deleted because it was not an announcement.  Now you understand why you are not a moderator.  Smiley

I did not want to be a mod. You comment is not answering my question. It is not about ann. I can find you many many post in ann threads but not announcement and will you help me to delete them? OFC no so please keep your   unnecessary words for yourself.

Probably was off topic because thats not what announcement threads are for. Anyway if the moderators had something against you would they not delete your scam accusation thread as well? Stop jumping to conclusions.

Yes it is logical but I am proving something. People posting many stupid things and I posted 1 fact but it is deleted. I think it should not be deleted. It confuse my mind.

Your posts are written with increased size, in bold and red, that is disturbing, more than it is helpful.
Yes, you do want people to see your posts, but you can do so with a post that isn't annoying and a pain to read.

Yes but it is not aganist rules. I am not doing anything harmful for bitcointalk and mods. I just wanted to people know that problem. So it is still not logical explanation.

Are you seriously fighting and arguing with the senior members here with your "rights"? If your posts were deleted, will a single post be a huge loss to your account? Maybe Lutpin was right. Also have a taste of design when posting. You're in 2018, simplicity now is beauty. You're not in 2012 which uses exaggerated fonts sizes and styles. And do make things personal in here.
52  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to buy more and HODL!!! on: June 27, 2018, 10:07:14 PM
For optimistic people, HODL-ing bitcoin and still having trust that its price would be back onto its highest peak last year, is easy.

Yet for some pessimist like me, HODL-ing it instead of ETH or any Alts is a no no. Bitcoin is now the center of attraction for hackers, which leads to continuity of sudden loss of its price.
53  Other / Meta / Re: Captcha on: June 27, 2018, 09:52:50 PM
I don't understand why people have a problem with this. I would have thought that with my erretic mix of network connections, and variety of computers, that I would hit this a few times. I don't remember ever having had a captcha request with this site.

It happens when you where last active in other devices, left it logged in, then used it on other devices or browsers. OR you've cleared your browser's data and re-logged your account in.

And, also I don't remember experiencing captcha as pain in the ass. If you are right what they require, it would be enough.
54  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: List of bounty scammers (Avoid wasting time with them) on: June 27, 2018, 09:41:16 PM
FINALLY. A thread that could warn users what bounties they should avoid joining and participating in. I've tried to join dozens of bounty campaigns and most of them are scams and failures. Thank you sir for making this one. Hope you would make this an active thread.
55  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANN][APP] CRYPTOLUME - Cryptocurrency Analysis & Coin Alerting Tool on: June 27, 2018, 12:02:37 PM
i suggest you use Info-graphics or hire a graphic designer when telling announcements and/or things about your application, because having a great design for information which contains many paragraph makes anyone read your post even it is too long in transcript.

and I hope your app reaches success.

> It was difficult to understand what you are trying to say. Why did you missed some letters in your words?

It seems that you have no letters with umlauts in your font. I changed some letters to avoid stupid bug "you have made this post already" which appears when you press "Preview" on the post and then "Post".

> Anyway, if you see posters breaking rules of Bitcointalk, just use "report to moderator" button, you don't have to start thread on Meta about it.

I did, but noone seems to care. Are there any moderators alive on this forum?

Just wait sir. Moderators wouldn't tell you if they did anything on the users or posts you've reported. Yet you can see it if you report soon that you reported posts with a number of accuracy (meaning if you reported the right thing or not)
57  Economy / Services / Re: ivyKoin Signature and Avatar Campaign(FULL) on: June 27, 2018, 11:00:12 AM
Sir is posts on local boards counted?
58  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Posting same content multiple times and GUARANTEED PROFIT on: June 27, 2018, 10:53:20 AM
Report it man. Yet with this thread, you helped moderators and other reporters like me to report this shits posting spammer and maybe a scammer. Good job sir and may you continue your kindness and participation in balancing the forum.

BTW i also reported it.
59  Other / Meta / Re: Fighting spam and spammers on: June 27, 2018, 10:29:16 AM
Hmm... I was expecting more interest on this topic. Seems like I'm the only one bothered by spam or want to find solutions for it.

Could it be that the spammers are still generating traffic though and that means more advertising $$ for this forum?  Undecided

I know there were multiple threads on this spam issue but no solutions were implemented to stop the root cause, just the effect.

I do report users whenever I see shitposts and spams or anything unrelated or out of the thread topic. Yet I hope I wasn't alone. Salute to moderators who works hard to see each and every posts done by any users in their child boards.

And, as I see, reporting any little inaccurate shit posts and spammers alone doesn't change a single thing.

This has already been discussed hundreds of times. Once again is not going to make things better. Why open another topic instead of putting it in an already existing one. Monitoring the users in charge to run a campaign would mean checking their work and therefore checking the quality of the posts. In other words, it will be like doing their job

campaign managers review the posts made by their employees
...their employees... Cheesy

how about those who doesn't have any campaigns yet do posts just to gain activities?
60  Other / Meta / Re: [SUGGESTION] Minimum Merit Required for Signature Campaigns on: June 27, 2018, 10:14:08 AM
I just want to share my idea  for bounty managers conducting signature campaigns. This could be help to minimize spammers in this forum.

What if there are minimum merits required for each participant ? Based on their rank.
If I were the company , I would be glad if the one who wears the signature has lot of merits.

Just what like yahoo66278 signature campaign

Rates
Member- .002/week Must have 15 merit to apply
Full Member- .004/week Must have 120 Merit to apply
Sr- .006/week Must have 275 merit to apply
Hero/Legendary- .008/week Must have 525 merit to apply if hero 1025 merit to apply if Legendary

and by izanagi narukami

We Are looking for :
5 HERO/LEGENDARY at least 510 Merit
5 SENIOR at least 260 Merit
10 FULL MEMBER at least 110 Merit

In this way, we can prevent some shitposters or spammers in the forum. I believe that there are lot of people using this forum just to earn money only and violating the rules because of greediness.

Is it a better idea? What are your thoughts?

All great idea yet some users who posts with pure and high quality doesn't even get some spotlights to be merited. Nowadays, its hard to gain merits whenever you try your best and whenever you make or start any threads.
