sorry i was reading many threads and i didnt see. thanks
you know how much is the profit of this masternode? i dont see informations around internet.
Understandable. This place is mess with info scattered across 45 pages. Regarding resource, cpu usage and hdd space is minimal. GPU isn't used at all from what I can tell. I run mine with several other masternodes in a windows 7 vm with 4 cores and 8gb of ram. Never an issue. I don't have numbers in front of me but I think I've been bringing in around 150-200/week/wallet.

How do i disable staking on a MacOS wallet?
Locking the wallet disables staking and master nodes. There's no need to disable staking. Coins in the master node address aren't staked. Download the wallet, unlock it, deposit coins into the main account, from the master node tab create a master node using your public ip and a port different than the 2 already being used by the wallet, you can find them in the conf file, transfer 5000 coins to the master node address. Lock wallet, restart wallet, then unlock only for staking. Click start on your master node. Wait a few minutes. Verify it appears in the master node list.

I can not send my SOCC to Yobit since the wallet status of SOCC is stated as "Maintenance" which forbids me from sending my SOCC. Can some1 pls assist me? I really want to start trading some SOCC?
Simply don't use Yobit... it's one of the worst... I know projects that people's coins were stucked there for weeks... "in maintenance"... I agree with yosir and also recommend avoiding yobit whenever possible. Yobit is known for it's many wallet maintenance mode issues, not just with this coin. Many people suggest it's a scam on yobit's part to keep your coins. I'm not sure if there is any truth in that. My understanding is the wallets automatically go into maintenance mode when the blocks stop moving. The good news is it looks like the blocks are moving again so I imagine the wallet should open up soon but it's up to yobit. You can try contacting them but you'll probably just have to wait it out. There are many higher quality exchanges. Unfortunately, for now SOCC is only on yobit and nova, which has very small volume compared to yobit.

5000 coins are needed for MN. You can download the wallet from https://mega.nz/#F!syQC0agR!ig2V5a6MmJun6Oz3C3h-9Q
-support teamWrong! Even support team is confused now. There will never be masternodes for CXT! now only XCXT has masternodes. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2068761.0 Unfortunately the CXT->XCXT swap period has ended. Given the amount of discontent CXT holders have expressed with the swap, or the mere fact that dev abandoned masternodes for CXT and split to XCXT, I'd probably suggest looking for investment opportunities elsewhere.

I have two mistakes in my wallet under Windows: Arrivals from MN are displayed in thousandths of XCXT the balance is credited correctly, but here the display is always wrong On installation in the settings does not respond when installing mXCXT and restarting the purse and reinstalling the XCXT is displayed correctly, but you have to constantly reset the wallet Do you need to change something in the settings or is it a bug of the current version of the wallet? Even adjusting mined transactions by a factor of 1000 doesn't seem to equal the XCXT being generated. I'm not sure what that XCXT value actually corresponds to. I can confirm the MN status is missing. I always look for my IP in the node list to verify it's running.

I am interested to get some masternodes for this one however the only thing that is stopping me from doing so is the lack of documentation for setting this up on Ubuntu vps. Is there a guide, which is easy enough to follow and set this up?
I do not want to run VPS on a Windows machine because all of my VPS are on Ubuntu from the same provider.
Please advise.
Are you saying your ubuntu vps is a headless install so you want to manage the wallet and masternode via command-line? If you set up VNC on your ubuntu install you can just remote in and follow the same steps given on the first page just like the windows wallet. Here's a guide that may help to set up vnc https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-install-and-configure-vnc-on-ubuntu-14-04 Otherwise you'll have to wait for a headless tutorial. I might put one together if I have time to get an ubuntu vm running.

Can you provide a guide to setup a masternode/multiple masternodes on a VPS?
Is your VPS up and running? Do you have the wallet working on it? What kind are you using? There are VPS with windows and Ubuntu GUI that you can follow the same guide on the first page. Are you looking for a headless linux install as in you need to do this from command line?

What's your hashrate and what equipment are you using? Those are some impressive numbers for a pool that usually has only 1.9GH/s.
|
|
|
network hashrate is 400ghs+, thats cant be from masternodes...
Are there other public shared pools besides the 5 listed above? Those pools only have a combined x11 hashrate of 1.8GH/s which includes other coins. The explorer currently shows 238GH/s net rate with 159 connections, 121 of which the wallet shows are masternodes. It would seem most of the remaining connections are private miners. I'm guessing with asic setup. The rest of us plebs with GPU rigs just don't have the necessary hashing power and have to settle for masternodes. I understand if you desire to help push the blockchain along but the network is healthy and not really struggling with blocks. At this point I think the best way to get XCXT is to mine the most profitable coin you can and just buy XCXT on exchange.

|
|
Pay attention to pool fees. http://lpool.name/ has a 20% fee. I assume the only miners there are people who didn't bother checking. I'm currently mining alone at profit-pool just to see if I can get anything. Although at only 120MH/s I don't think I'll get anywhere. I guess everyone is running masternodes instead.

|
|
So I'm mining away on GCPOOL at an astonishing 1.7MH/s At this rate it says it will take 43 days to mine a single block worth 75 SOCC. Any idea why ccminer shows 1.7MH/s but GCPOOL is showing only around 1MH/s? Edit: Props to mdodong mining away at 14KH/s for 0.025 SOCC/day. I applaud your effort. I just noticed minimum payout is 5 SOCC with a 1 SOCC transaction fee. Which at 2 SOCC/day isn't the most profitable scenario. I think I nailed down the lack of interest in mining SOCC. I'm literally paying $3/day in electricity to mine SOCC and losing the $25/day I would be making in ZEC. I also noticed that my hashrate is often listed higher than the pool hashrate. What's up with all the discrepancies?

I don't know why some people chose to be too dumb or stupid. You are asked to make all communication relating swapping through the website contact form at www.coinonat.org but keep posting the information and expect us to attend to you while you find it difficult to understand simple instruction. Address: CdsxXtMruwHqkMYGjrC6tuZwXpwXV53pHo Amount: 6501.00000000 XCXT Fee: 0.01000000 XCXT Net Amount: 6500.99000000 XCXT Transaction ID : 7c5c4a6f6e253f920c22565c1c7cdbefc045a3b1846e XCXT received. Thank you for the transfer. Download the type of wallets you want from https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2068761.0 and then reply with you transaction ID for CXT Payment and wallet address for XCXT to receive payment. After we confirm the payment we will send you the XCXT to your wallet. This may take up to 48 hours. Seems to me if you wanted a reply via email you should ask for an email reply or reply through coinonat website instead of asking for a reply right after pointing to this topic. You could have also corrected this by simply responding to at least one of the many transactions posted with a 'Please email the transaction details through the coinonat website.' Stupidity begets stupidity. Dick.

Managed to resolve the wallet sync issue by redownloading the windows wallet, deleting everything except the socialcoin.conf and wallet.dat in %AppData%\Socialcoin. Ignored the first page tutorial and put this in socialcoin.conf like before: rpcuser=<user> rpcpassword=<pass> rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 rpcport=18646 port=18645 listen=1 server=1 addnode=13.59.61.11:18645 addnode=13.59.61.11:18645 addnode=51.9.44.233:18645 addnode=109.152.186.237:18645 addnode=5.167.121.35:18645 addnode=31.8.179.249:18645 addnode=31.54.191.5:18645 Launched wallet and everything synced to 2 days ago which is the last time the blockchain moved as mentioned. Verified block number in debug window matches the explorer at 5706. So yay.

Hello,
the Ip address and port number is the static ip of the router? I have a static ip 192.168.0.1, is this?
If I send 5.000 XCXT to the masternode address, can I send back the amount to my XCXT address in the future?
Thanks
The IP address should be your public ip address given to your router from your ISP. 192.168.0.1 is the private, LAN address of your router. CreamCoin uses basically the same wallet with masternodes. They have a more detailed tutorial here: https://medium.com/@creamcoin/creamcoin-masternode-setup-guide-c86096b3c2e3 Just replace CRM info with XCXT info from the first page tutorial. Coins you transfer to your masternode can be transferred out anytime minus normal transaction fee. Also, I'm pretty sure five thousand is 5.000,00 in some countries like Germany, and 5,000.00 in others like US. Either way, a XCXT masternode needs to have five thousand coins to function. Also, to devs. It's been 5 days and I haven't received my XCXT in exchange. Please follow up. Thanks. Blocks can't move guys without miners as I've pointed out repeatedly Latest block went in the last day or so but I am beginning to think that masternodes are the only way of kicking the blockchain forward. That's not necessarily what masternodes are designed to solely achieve in my view so need to think about this. First, SYE Mining Pool ( http://pool.sye.host/) appears to have dropped SOCC so you may want to remove from front page. Second, I still can't get my wallet to sync. I followed the instructions on the front page and my conf looks like this but the wallet shows 2 weeks behind and 0 connections: rpcuser=<user> rpcpassword=<pass> rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 rpcport=18646 port=18645 listen=1 server=1 connect=217.175.119.126:18645 I tried adding the additional nodes and the wallet shows 45 days behind and 1 active connection: addnode=13.59.61.11:18645 addnode=13.59.61.11:18645 addnode=51.9.44.233:18645 addnode=109.152.186.237:18645 addnode=5.167.121.35:18645 addnode=31.8.179.249:18645 addnode=31.54.191.5:18645 Please help me. Third, scrypt isn't ideal for the average GPU miner. It seems SOCC is a coin with a purpose geared towards the average joe but with technical specs geared towards rich ASIC miners. Which may be contributing to the lack of mining interest. Regardless, I'm going to attempt to basically solo mine with my 8 gpu mining rig. Any suggestions for the best scrypt mining program for nvidia?

So bottom line, CXT is PoS and XCXT is MN?
cxt is proof of work (POW) only, meaning its mine-able only. xcxt is a hybrid POW/Proof of stake (POS) which goes pure POS after block 212520, meaning it's only mine-able until block 212520. after which it goes POS with masternodes only. you need at least 5000 xcxt to run masternode. xcxt details are here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2068761.msg20654138#msg20654138

If I now bought CXT -HOW I can get XCXT? How did swap, or now late?
swap has ended. only way to get xcxt is buy on exchange or mine it.

I hope the blocks will move again soon!
Me too! My wallet hasn't synced for 12 days. I followed the first page instructions but maybe I'm doing something wrong? I'm pretty sure I remember reading dev is on vacation so no need to panic yet. Is it safe to transfer SOCC from yobit and nova to my wallet? or should I wait?
