42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Help ! not small fee but unconfirmed more than 13 hours on: August 16, 2017, 10:45:39 AM
You have to push your tx on viabtc at start hour. Try now at 01.00 PM
What do you mean by start hour? Are there something like that on viaBTC tx accelerator?

I mean to push tx on viabtc accelerator at fix start hour because if you do after 6 or more minutes you will not succeed push tx because on viabtc is a Limit of 100 tx btc/hour
Ohhh ! I don't know about that. This is actually something ! I'll try in the next hour ! Thanks ! Cheesy

56  Other / Meta / Re: Decleration for old unaccessible forum account on: August 14, 2017, 07:03:11 AM
This should be moved to Meta. Verification failed. There might be an extra character or a missing character so might as well sign a message again. Also, please include the date, where to reset the email, and attach below the link where you posted or sent this addess then send it to theymos or Cyrus.

I had already mentioned i cant sign message for the btc addr on profile. Already seen theymos thread about account recovery. Hope he can dig up his pm and check his msg which we sent each other few months back about his initiative for new forum s/w

I read it but what I meant is the signed message you posted above. Anyway, the btc address you used to sign that message is not associated with the account or not? If not then it is useless but if it is then does that mean that it has been signed a long time ago? If so then it is still invalid to prove ownership in the said account.
I BCC to Cyrus and PMed Theymos. Should be fine right? xD
57  Other / Meta / Re: Hacked account on: August 13, 2017, 08:12:14 PM
Verification failed. Try signing a message again ut this time avoid using extra spaces or enter. Just make it more simplier with no quotation marks and also > and < are commonly not included and is removed when doing a sign message. After that, you can post it here so we can check if it is okay or not then send it to theymos or Cyrus.
Check out

FYI, I verified it in two sites and the results are still the same. Also, I didn't see that you did some changes in your post so the result would still be the same.
Can you also check mine? I sent pm to theymos and cyrus never get a reply :/

59  Other / Meta / Re: My Account was hacked too on: August 11, 2017, 12:43:04 PM
The passwords were in cleartext?! WTF?! Okay still the admin could tell me if I changed my password after the hack occured. If you could pm me where I can find the database so I can lookup if the password is exposed or not and still the same, i would be thankful.

And the ipaddress would be nice to have, also the http header on login if available. Funny thing is the attacker changed the avatar. It shows part of the mad hatter hat now. Anybody else has seen this behaviour before? Has this any meaning? Is this his "signature"?  Huh

Yes it was in cleartext, thats what a leaked database means. Admin has no responsibility for your account, only you are responsible for your account and for safeguarding it. The database is from long gone now but you might give a shot and try to search in the black markets using TOR browser (for how to do that use google ,it is very long for me to explain it to you here).

Its past 11 pm here in Italy so I am going to sleep. Take your time and be patient.

A leaked database doesn't necessarily mean that the passwords are in cleartext, it only means that the Database is leaked. Normally the passwords are hashed and you need to crack them first. Just FYI^^ Good night and thx for support.

Many people were affected by the said leak and most of them haven't changed their passwords since 2015, including me. Also, hilariousandco cannot do anything in regards to recovering hacked accounts and only and admin can unlock it for you. Best thing would be sending a pm and wait for them to reply. Cyrus and theymos are busy working on in the new forum and it might take a while for you to get in touch with either of them.
Just wondering can mods change the email of a bitcointalk account?
60  Other / Meta / Re: Request for a Malaysia Local Board on: August 11, 2017, 12:35:07 PM
This could bring more Malaysian that actively involves in bitcoin related project. A lot of us in Malaysia aware of this cryptocurrency but I think probably the language is the barrier eventhough English is the main languange. It will be much comfortable to speak/type in your own native language, isn't it right?
I don't actually care though.. As a Malaysian I don't speak Malay too much too
