nCash is a non-mineable cryptocurrency. The current plan is to launch on Ethereum, but the team is exploring options beyond this.

What is Nucleus Vision?

Founded in 2014 at Harvard University, Nucleus.Vision is an end-to-end technology solution that captures and provides previously unaccessed data to retailers and other ‘brick and mortar’ businesses through its proprietary blockchain and real-time sensor technology. The solution that Nucleus has built, which currently has 19 ‘IoT sensors’ deployed in 10 live retail establishments, will support a valuable data network for unique visitor IDs and corresponding user data. Our proprietary IoT sensor technology doesn’t depend on any RFID, WiFi Bluetooth, or even facial recognition technologies to operate.

####################  Read the Nucleus White Paper (Abridged Version)  ####################

Long term, our intention is to bridge the gap between the online and offline retail world. Our venture is backed by several prominent investors including Tim Draper, Reliance Capital and more. Telecommunications plays a vital role in the functioning of our technology, and we have partnered with Vodafone, Reliance Communications, and Idea Cellular to bring our platform to market.

The early focus of our adoption strategy revolves around the retail sector. However, the Nucleus platform has applications in various markets. We believe the following areas represent promising markets where Nucleus can be applied and add value:

Phase 1: Retail

Phase 2: Physical Security

Phase 3: Connected Devices

#################### Strengths and Advantages ####################

Nucleus has invested three years in technology research and development, to build a patent-pending sensor technology that overcomes all the drawbacks of existing retail technologies such as Bluetooth or Wi-Fi beacons, to identify in real-time any person walking in the proximity of a Nucleus ION sensor.

#################### Functional LIVE Product Already on the Market  ####################

Using Nucleus's smart-sensor technology, retailers can now identify and interact directly with customers as they enter the store. International retail brands, such as Giny & Jony in India, are already using Nucleus to deliver personalized offers to customers on their mobile phones. The ION Network’s sensors are developed according to telco standards, to ensure the Nucleus platform remains plug-and-play and follows data and privacy requirements of the global telecom industry. Over the past two years, Nucleus has worked with both national and international regulatory authorities to implement applicable regulatory and privacy frameworks into our technology.

#################### Technology Overview ####################

Nucleus is composed of several technology layers, which together power our next generation platform. Nucleus technology is a function of four primary components: ION, ORBIT, NEURON & nCASH

45  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Crypto and Switzerland on: November 24, 2017, 09:47:12 AM
There's a long waiting list for ICO's to register their Foundations in Switzerland at the moment. You also need a Swiss citizen to invest some capital in your Foundation to be able to set it up. It's not as simple as it used to be in Q1, 2016.

You're going to have a tough time convincing airlines to sign up to use your product. You'll be asking them to pay you $$ to lose more $$ each time something goes wrong - very oxymoronic to an already razor-thin margin business.

48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SALT on: November 24, 2017, 09:30:51 AM
SALT ICO bag holder here. Bought at the $7.50 tier. Has not been a fun-ride so far.

Their value will increase only if they actually manage to push out their lending product out to people more strongly. I think their GTM strategy has been quite weak to be honest.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Confido turned to be a scam??? on: November 24, 2017, 09:27:55 AM
Cryptocurrency start-up Confido disappears with $375,000 from an ICO, and nobody can find the founders

  • Confido billed itself as a "smart contract" start-up.
  • It raised $375,000 through an initial coin offering.
  • The website and social media accounts related to the company and the founding team have been deleted.
  • TokenLot, which hosted the ICO, dubbed it an "exit scam" and said it is going to contact the FBI.

In the past few days, in what is being dubbed an "exit scam," online assets related to the Confido founders and the company have been deleted. The firm's website, Twitter account and Facebook page were erased.

51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you still buy Bitcoin? on: November 23, 2017, 08:41:23 PM
I was pitching Bitcoin to a friend who thought 4k USD was too much to invest. Met him a week or two later and told him about Bitcoin ATH at 8k. You can imagine the look on his face.

Bitcoin's adoption is increasing and even if not as a currency, its perception as an investment worth holding for the long term is certainly getting high. Plus, you will soon be able to trade BTC as a commodity. All reason's enough to buy BTC now and anytime during the foreseeable future.
52  Other / Off-topic / Re: Game of thrones on: November 23, 2017, 08:32:50 PM
I actually didn't like this season very much - it because too predictable, and to an extent pandering to the audiences. I missed the unpredictability, the realism, the surprise factor. I feel season 8 will be more of the same. I'm only watching it because I've been with the series for far too long!
53  Economy / Economics / Re: Life with out money ? on: November 23, 2017, 08:22:51 PM
As it stands, yes, money is super important. It signifies value to everything in our world. However, the nature of currency will change over time. It already has over the past millennia- barter system, coins, paper currency, plastic currency, cryptocurrency. If not money, there will be something else to signify the value of items.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in altcoin still worth? on: November 23, 2017, 08:16:47 PM
Yes. You can still make money off Altcoins, but finding good ones is only going to get harder as more projects come along. However, a sound understanding of blockchain tech and good old due diligence for each project you're thinking of investing in might help you not lose money on these investments, if not help you unearth another gem.
55  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: bittrex, best token to buy on: November 23, 2017, 07:27:26 PM
POWR (PowerLedger) is one of the most pumped coins right now on Bittrex. Great time to get in.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: EverMarkets | Trade Stocks, Bonds, Commodities * Disrupt Wall Street * Liquidity on: November 23, 2017, 07:20:39 PM
Looks like a very promising project. Futures markets like CME are highly centralized hoarders of power and cash, and are ripe for disruption. Go EM!

59  Economy / Economics / Re: The best time to invest. on: November 23, 2017, 06:56:48 PM
There are less than 10M unique crypto investors in the market today, globally. Out of 7B+ people. If you believe that the 10M number can even go to 70M or 700M, then you're still very very early in the game, and have the potential to see another 10x-100x rise in crypto
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Advisor's Role in an ICO? on: November 23, 2017, 06:34:18 PM
I'm an advisor to 3 ICO's at the moment. What's expected from an Advisor are the following:

1. Whitepaper review
2. Token sale structuring
3. Token economics
4. Pre-sale investor introductions
5. Engaging with community for ICO
6. Introductions to other Advisors, Exchanges, Investors, Lawyers, tax-advisors etc
7. Regulatory compliance
8. Legal compliance
9. Smart-contract code review
10. Marketing, PR & Branding tips
