41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which wallet is best for ERC20 tokens? on: December 11, 2019, 05:01:30 AM
So far, the only wallet that I've used for ERC20 tokens is the MyEtherWallet. This wallet never failed me before and I also have my security by using a separate computer for cryptocurrency-related stuff only. Using it since 2017.
42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People are underutilizing Bitcoin on: December 11, 2019, 04:59:05 AM
Because most of the people see bitcoin as something related to stocks. They don't focus on the purpose of it and the technology behind it. And I think it sucks because bitcoin is more than an investment that you can hold on for years and wait for it to grow while you are dreaming of a big house. May the government allow it to be used on things such as payments.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: new projects should be about new features on: December 08, 2019, 02:17:44 PM
One of the biggest problems that crypto developers face is that technology changes rapidly. It is very hard to stay current, they new to introduce better feature than what we have already in this space, who agrees?

That's probably one of the reasons why bitcoin just keeps on popping off. It's because the technology behind it is actually one of the top technology nowadays. That's indeed true, it's alright to innovate the product as long as it is going to be really consistent and not fall off after a few months.
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm Thinking of Bitcoin Blockchain Accessible Without Internet on: December 08, 2019, 02:13:49 PM
It's going to be a good thing if you can do that kind of solution, to be honest. But as of now, I don't think there's any way to do that. Spending bitcoins or other cryptocurrencies requires the internet. This is not fiat where you can just pull money out of your wallet or out of the bank using your credit card.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are altcoins going to get the mainstream like 2017? on: December 07, 2019, 07:18:57 AM
Your friend might not be exactly right. But it is true that there are not going to be a lot of altcoins that are going to perform in the future. So if you want to invest in them, be careful what altcoin you choose. Or sometimes, it's just you're really unlucky even though the coin/project looks promising.
46  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin mixers be considered illegal by worldwide governments? on: December 07, 2019, 07:06:41 AM
I don't get the government stands on the money laundering part. There is a lot of ways where you can clean your money from dirty work like buying stock from the market. I guess in the end it's all about they can't benefit from it that is why they're banning it. And yes, if this continues to happen, bitcoin mixers are going to be considered as illegal by most of the world's government.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Year 2020 expectations on: December 06, 2019, 03:15:25 PM
In recent time cryptocurrency is not in a good shape. Many peoples are losing their money because of fraud but bitcoin is in a good shape and I hope in the year of 2020 bitcoin price will rise more.So it is the high time to invest bitcoin.

I don't think it's just because of the fraud. Many people are losing money right now because they invested in the wrong coins that are performing badly. Or maybe, they didn't pull out their funds in time. And bitcoin is not really in good shape right now. I have no expectations about cryptocurrency in 2020. Whatever happens, happens. It's frustrating if I'll have my expectations not happening in 2020.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Staking vs. mining altcoins on: December 06, 2019, 03:09:04 PM
Both are not profitable right now. But it's not bad in just taking chances. As of now, I'm not really into mining altcoins but staking does not give me a lot of money and most of the time, there is no pay in it. I still want to get into this community though.
49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: crypto earnings on: December 05, 2019, 02:06:19 PM
getting around tax laws is really hard. And I have no experience getting around it since, in my country, we are lucky that we are able to use cryptocurrency freely. And as of now, there are no signs of regulations. But they kept on saying warning about how we are going to secure our funds.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Satoshi hides his identity? on: December 02, 2019, 04:41:21 AM
I don't know that there's a "lot" of people claiming his identity. If there's a really that number of people then I think they must be ashamed of themselves claiming all the credit. It's not a good idea for me. I think there's really no need to know who Satoshi Nakamoto is. The fact that he didn't reveal his name means that he wants to say anonymous. And I don't think that's too much to ask thinking about his efforts in helping us earn money.
51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google possesses threat to bitcoin. What do you say? on: December 01, 2019, 09:39:16 AM
They might harm cryptocurrencies that are going to underperform, but I don't think they can impose threat on bitcoin. Once bitcoin shows its signs again, it will have more investors than stocks or any other things that you can invest in. Once it goes back to its 2017 point again, there will be a lot of money thrown on bitcoin and altcoins once again. As long as the altcoins continue to improve and new good projects will start to rise.
52  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so few women buying into Bitcoin? on: December 01, 2019, 05:58:13 AM
I think you just didn't convince them well enough. If you showed them more results from cryptocurrency then I think there is a more chance that they'll get hooked into it. It's just $10 so don't get surprised. But yeah, quite surprising since bitcoin already went to $19,000 and they don't show interest. Pretty sure they are on the news before.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin could reach $1,000 in a couple of years from now on: December 01, 2019, 05:40:25 AM
I am also very optimistic about these coins. I think there is a possibility that it could actually reach $1,000 in 4-5 years. But on the other side, it hasn't made any good news yet but still a top tier coin deserving it's spot on the top 5 coins. And if ever it gets lower than it's current price, I'll surely invest in it more.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is happening to new projects? on: December 01, 2019, 05:35:14 AM
What's making you say that these projects are actually good? I've seen some projects in 2018 that actually made good money. Or you're just mistaken them for good projects even though they're really bad? If they are a really good project, don't lose hope because they might perform in the next few years when the green market comes.
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is big news for Germany Bitcoiners out there! on: November 30, 2019, 11:30:29 PM
I'm happy that my country that not really have to ban it. Because since in the beginning, we are free of investing and pulling out money from cryptocurrencies. We can go back and forth all day and no one from the government is going to get us because of those transactions. But I wish that this country is going to talk about more about the blockchain technology.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what is happening now? on: November 30, 2019, 11:43:45 AM
I really can't provide a direct answer to this since I'm still not that good at understanding the crypto space. But one of the things that I've observed is that when bitcoin goes stable, it goes up and it may affect altcoins in a good way. When I entered the crypto space, it was 2017 and the altcoin-bitcoin direct proportion is happening and until 2018 up to present, there are a lot of changes that are hard to predict. Because of this, I just focus on investing in small alts that are good.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are the scam projects killing entire crypto space? on: November 30, 2019, 11:20:42 AM
I think yes. Imagine getting scammed once in a while whenever you support a project. Because of this, some people might just give up on supporting the entire crypto space since the good/legit projects are outnumbered by the scams which means the legit projects are getting harder to find. Not even the ratings from different websites can prevent this.
58  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It is impossible to proof that somebody is Satoshi. on: November 30, 2019, 11:06:11 AM
The fact that he didn't reveal himself means that he wants to stay anonymous. We really don't want to invade someone's life when we know that he does not want to right? There is no point in knowing who he is. Let's just thank him for making bitcoin and making these things possible. Knowing who he is might not have any positive impact.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain-based Elections? on: November 29, 2019, 11:28:53 AM
They just don’t trust blockchain itself but they still want to fully in control on the system. Corrupt politicians will never be in favor for a more transparent voting system, I doubt my country will follow this one because I know they will do their best to prevent this to happen. The idea of having a voting system under blockchain is good, but it will be hard if the government is against the truth, maybe if a great country adopt the system we will see the best result on that.

Same opinion. My country also has problems when it comes to elections and there are a lot of delays that are suspicious. I can see this country accepting blockchain, but using it as a tool in elections is not what I see. I can see this government using it in other fields like security. Even I.Ts can't crack this one.
60  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever purchased bitcoins using eBay? on: November 29, 2019, 11:22:58 AM
No. And don't even consider buying bitcoin there. Just go invest in a trading site in order to have a bitcoin because that is the safest way to earn it. The deals about cryptocurrencies in that site are just hilarious and unreasonable.
