41  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buying Bitcoin with no KYC verification on: August 30, 2020, 03:00:28 PM
I know you are looking for Credit Card or Paypal without any ID verification but trust me if you are going to buy a huge amount there are circumstances that a platform will require you to do so but does not happen all the time. For any chance have you tried searching in google in your area for bitcoin ATM's? I guess that is a good option if you have one, that is more convenient for you.

consider bitcoin ATMs.
Looks like someone already suggested before me.  Cheesy Yeah, he should find an ATM if it exists on his area.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Verge coin on: August 30, 2020, 01:00:58 PM
It's possible if we are in bullrun but maybe 3 to 4 times of the bullrun last 2017. This coin has a 16 billion supply if it hits $1 now it will go to top 3 on CMC which very unrealistic for now, On last bullrun this coin hit its all time high at  $0.3 This coin already have a mainnet and there are so many blockchains that are better than this coin. It has no popular usecase they should have a good partners and adapt the latest tech right now enable for them to keep this project up to date.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is defi reason for skyrocketing fees? on: August 30, 2020, 12:01:50 PM
Yes, I am pretty sure of it. These DeFi contracts requires a lot of gas limit like 200k or more plus the gas price now is 170 gwei more or less. Unlike normal ethereum transaction wallet to wallet only requires 21k gas limit. It is a war on GAS price some traders on uniswap wants their transaction to be executed first so they are willing to pay a higher gas that is why it keep getting higher and we have a lot of defi platforms now if you combine them they will clogged the ethereum network.
44  Other / Meta / Re: How well did you know our forum's sections? [GAME] on: August 28, 2020, 05:43:47 PM

45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOT [Polkadot] Speculation on: August 28, 2020, 05:02:40 PM
It is not really strange if you knew when this project started, the project development began in year 2016 which is 3 to 4 years in development before launching their mainnet. It gets so many investors/crypto enthusiast attention aside from that it is listed on tier 1 exchanges like Binance, Houbi, kraken that is why it is building trust slowly. There are also facts that it's technology is good with potential.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't invest for quick gains only on: August 28, 2020, 04:18:22 PM
You have mentioned a decent defi project, there is a rapid increase of DeFi projects now this is what I have witness last 2017 on ICO's it is happening now again with defi but scammers and fraud always exists they are grabbing this opportunity for a quick buck and create many fake projects and then if they reach their quota they run away and many people still falls on their trick. I advised to dig more deeper and verify partnership if genuine and look for projects that really have the potential and useful.
47  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: YOBIT EXCHANGE SCAM peoples in YODA and DICE coins on: August 25, 2020, 08:48:23 PM
With what I know Yobit has an airdrop or promotion giving away free YODA, It is understood that more people have that coin, so if people got it for free they are willing to sell it no matter what is the price. That could be the reason of dump or just market movement that's how it works in crypto. On the other hand I believe yobit is a shady exchange, if you visit scam accusation board there is a lot of topic about them.
48  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you could hard fork Bitcoin right now, what changes would you make? on: August 25, 2020, 05:11:56 PM
I think every blockchain is aiming for faster transaction speed with low fees, If I have given the opportunity I will not do it, we have a lot of forks in the market right now like litecoin and those Bitcoincash tweens lol. Instead I will just support one of them or find another coin with almost no transaction fee which already exists there is no point in creating a redundant coin, I don't plan to add another sh*tcoin on the market. But I won't leave bitcoin it is the backbone of all altcoins.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto passive income - a bubble? on: August 25, 2020, 04:25:05 PM
Mining is obviuosly more profitable than staking and those other stuff but there are some new coins in the market that offers 50 - 88 % of APR for staking, I don't know if it will survive in the long run maybe it is just temporary. Yes, it is getting popular there are platforms that offers staking and they will lock your coins for a certain period. Sometimes it makes you feel unsafe unlike if you have your own mining rig you have the control of everything. I guess they sacrifice greater risk on staking.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think about SPA (SPERAX) on: August 25, 2020, 03:45:39 PM
brief reading about this project seems good, but there is a little bit that makes it less because of this https://t.me/sperax/37609, they made an amazing sale but unfortunately the sale resulted in other problems and also I'm confused by the statement they made, sperax not having an official exchange this is weird because they previously did mini ieo on hoo exchange and why they don't recognize hoo as their official exchange?
I am a little bit confused too but as what I have seen on their website their is no hoo exchange mentioned. This is not really new I have encountered a situation like this before a project is listed on an exchange without having the actual token itself it is like they are trading air so I guess the same situation happened with them. This sh*t exchanges can launch their own IEO if they spot a project with potential which is not really good for the project.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think about SPA (SPERAX) on: August 25, 2020, 03:05:32 PM
IMO this is an old idea that has already used by 0x protocol as stated on its site that if it will be used as a protocol to facilitated the defi platform but with its own blockchain.

I don't wanna say this a bad project but this project didn't get a lot of attention from the traders even if this project has already touched the hardcap. The price is not giving a huge ROI for the early investors and you can see that here https://www.mxc.com/trade/easy#SPA_USDT

A repetitive project like this will be so difficult to catch the moment.

I have visited their telegram group the admin says their official listing will be in Q4 (oct-dec) but these exchanges like MXC is listing it without their knowledge so basically it is a free listing not only MXC including uniswap some added liquidity and Hotbit. I believe those 3 exchanges I have mentioned is full of Bots and only few indivuals are trading it from public sale. Uniswap is very manipulated by some bots now doing buy and sell constantly even dump it. It is not the teams plans to list on those exchanges.
52  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: key safety strategies? on: August 24, 2020, 06:22:33 PM
CASA app ? I just heard it now from you, I dont' think it's reputable upon checking on playstore it has very low ratings, not recommended. About private keys I am using non custodial wallet which has only seed or recovery phrase but those are equal to our private keys. I guess next to hardware wallet, non custodial is the best option. Same as you I am hesitant to store on ledger too but with different reason, ledger is just like a Flash Drive is size, it can be misplaced somewhere if you lost the device goodbye to your coins. Unlike with private keys if you made some copies you can recover it anytime, now how should we store it? For me, I put some on flashdrive and keep it on the safe place like vault or similar and print some copies on paper. Never save your keys on a device which keeps online often.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / What do you think about SPA (SPERAX) on: August 24, 2020, 05:04:08 PM
What do you think about this project, I am not trying to shill it I just want your opinions and lets have some speculations. Upon reviewing some details here, what I found is they have this protocol called BDLS and other features which you can learn more on their website. They have been broadcast by Yahoo finance, Bloomberg, coindesk, chainlink and many more. Their total supply is quite big, 5 billion but only 7.9% is in circulation.

54  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What you can learn from this YouTuber mistake - related to crypto scam on: August 24, 2020, 03:42:55 PM
That is unfortunate for him, maybe he has low security or outdated antivirus. If you download any suspicious app a decent antivirus should prompt like it's malicious program or similar even windows defender might detect it. Maybe he install it anyway believing it's a false positive.  I will add one important thing to your pointers.

6) Don't allow your kids to use your computer, phones. Kids nowadays are really into gadgets. They install random games and stuff from google and the possibility of it containing malicious file is really big which is risky for our important files.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin use? on: August 24, 2020, 01:45:02 PM
I myself have never found an LTC wallet until now. I also got to know Crypto for the first time, I wanted to invest in LTC because I couldn't find a wallet to store it, so until now I have never invested in LTC. moreover most of the projects on it do not use the LTC platform for payments to bounty hunters.
I will give you a little tip if you are looking for a certain wallet of an altcoins go directly to the official website by doing it you can avoid fake wallets and phishing, you can easily find a wallet on their website. @To OP ~ There is nothing special about litecoin it is just like to some other fork of bitcoin like BCH, etc. Apart from mining rewards I dont see anything that we can benefit from litecoin.

56  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Virtual trading before actual one - pros and cons on: August 24, 2020, 12:47:30 PM
Yeah, there are various platform that offers a feature like that some called it testnet trading or just demo trading. Margin or futures trading right now has more risk than usual trading on spot so a practice might helps. Binance offers Testnet trading on futures, you can familiarize the interface and other stuff before trying the real one. Also, I find snapex have a demo accounts for beginners but if you are trying the real one try in your own risk. But trying the real one is so much different than the demo if you are risking real money it involves some emotions, etc.

57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Stakenet (XSN) The KING of DEFI - Scaling solution for BTC and ETH on: August 23, 2020, 06:18:37 PM
I guess the one making high gas fees on ETH network is this defi projects listed on Uniswap, we have a trend on Defi now that goes directly to uniswap and they are fighting for gas price increasing it little by little to be prioritize. I am just curious why you called Stakenet as the king of defi? Do they have already a working defi project on stakenet blockchain? Upon checking stakenet explorer some of the supply are on cryptopia which is a hacked exchange.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best protfolio tracker on: August 22, 2020, 03:10:09 PM
I don't use any portfolio tracker but I see all my coins price in just 1 wallet. Trustwallet almost have major cryptocurrency it functions both a wallet and a portfolio tracker I guess they are using API's from coinmarketcap and coingecko which is more convenient because you can have those feature in just one app no need to install third party apps, I guess most non custodial wallet functions the same we don't need portfolio tracker now.
59  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Help]Mobile wallet on: August 22, 2020, 01:48:04 PM
Which blockchain are you talking about bitcoin, eth? the changing address does not apply to every coins in that particular wallet. If you are talking about bitcoin I am having same experience with coinomi before but I figure it out that you can always use the previous address even if it changes that was before I don't know now. I suggest using Trustwallet their bitcoin address is only one in both receiving and sending. But you need to export your private keys to use it to sign message and 3rd party site to sign it. Trustwallet gives you only recovery phrase but you can convert that to pk using iancoleman but do it offline. Trustwallet is an alternative, Electrum is the best option no hassle.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why I am focousing more on $ALTS than Bitcoin on: August 22, 2020, 12:06:42 PM
Apart from technical analysis some people focuses on ALTS hoping for a x100 - x1000 or more returns that they missed when bitcoin just launched before. Bitcoin movement now is not that big I guess not more than 15% but on alts you can easily have 100% if you selected a good coin. But of course we will diversify our assets consisting bitcoin and altcoins.
