Still, there is no official report from the government side about regulations. Although the government has issue one report they are biased about what they want to do. In one way they talking about ban crypto and in the another want to make own coin like that. Some of the authorities made some good proposal about how it's benefits towards the economy on the crypto regulation maybe government think about that but hard to say really it will happen or not.

In my opinion, It's ETH. The price of ETH is around $850 in this days, and is the 2nd largest crypto by market cap behind BTC. Also, The largest open source blockchain initiative backed by over 300 companies, many of which are Fortune 500 companies like JP Morgan, Accenture, and Microsoft. They all believe that ETH is the best platform to create enterprise-level software on the blockchain. According to road-map in 2018, ETH has many technological upgrades relating to scalability, privacy, and decentralization coming to its platform in the next year. In particular, their upgrade Casper, will switch ETH’s consensus algorithm from Proof of Work to Proof of Stake, which will greatly reduce both the environmental impact mining has and the growing circulation of ETH, thereby making each coin more valuable.

Early, I was used to invest in the stock. But not getting profit like in the crypto. After knowing about the crypto. It's really great opportunity for me. I had started investing in the btc and bitcoin going up and up daily. But, My luck I sell all my btc before btc go down in the end of 2017. Now I am holding just eth. So, I am here just for the high profit. But, It's really not easy to stay in the profit all the time. But, With Good investment decisions and research till now I am not in the loss. Cool

There are plenty of alt-coins to choose from, and even more in 2018. Many have high potential to succeed and it’s definitely hard to pick a winner. You can choose to diversify your investment if you wish to buy different coins for different purposes. There is no best crypto or best alt-coin to invest in, but a couple that will stand out. If we knew which crypto would go to the moon, we would all be rich. Grin

ICO is the great investment. But don't go for only ICO. Just make part of your capital and just 20% to 30% of your capital invest in some good project. Before investing in any ICO do good research by your own. Don't follow anyone blindly.

I am already holding eth with hope, I will got some big profit one day for long term. You can hold it in eth for long term or invest in some ICO. ICO investment is one of the great way of investment. You can refer ICO listing sites to check current ICO. As well as you have to check road map white papers and social profiles of the certain coin which will help you to determine a strength of crypto in future. Wink

Security is the main concern for crypto. But don't just save the private key in the single device whatever you use pc or laptop. Normally people use HDD. It's possible to lose private key specially store in the HDD. One incident happen already happen with my friend. Take print of private key and store it in very safe place. Second thing store it in the pen drive. Just store only private key file and not others thins. After that format it. Whenever you need it you can recover it from pen-drive easily. I have also one regret why I sell my bitcoin to early. But not made loss in the trading yet. It's better you hold it for long term. I think ripple will be again at good price in the near future. I can't say about the tron. Usually to avoid all the loss, I used to invest in short term and long term. For short term after price up , I never think about hold just sell it whatever profit I got.

In my opinion, Ratings are the last factor in ICO research. We can't rely just only on the ratings. Mostly ratings based on the info provided by the ICO to specific website. No doubt ratings are useful. But, While we looking for invest I used to consider it's in the last. If I found the project good for me then I surely invest in ratings dose not affect my decision.

I think both ETH and BTC run in the parallel. BTC is still dominant. It has the biggest user base and the biggest industry. Like last year in 2017, ICOs will impact the ETH network because ICOs usually require plenty of ETH. That will buttress the demand for the platform's digital coin. More legitimate ICOs will lead to greater interest in ETH. Cool

It is impossible to give an exact time frame I can see this happening in the near future, unless we see a massive take off for Ripple, but honestly I see LTC going places. Perhaps it even has the potential to unseat ETH someday, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. The reason that I believe LTC will take over is that it is a superior coin for consumers. Ripple has one function, bank exchanges which gives it value.
