41  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: dirt-cheap mining plus free electricity on: June 16, 2013, 07:47:24 AM
Followup: I have a desktop and two laptops. What would I want to use in my laptops? And should I use my laptops at all? or vice-versa? Also please consider that I don't want to run the electricity use up too much and end up getting my rent raised.

Thanks everyone for your advice!

The laptop will do you no good...

43  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Free BFL $25-off-chips coupons on: June 16, 2013, 06:44:17 AM
Our plan is to take the chips to a PCB designer and then take it from there.

So we might or might not use BFL's design. Smiley
44  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL Customer Appreciation Chip Credit Program on: June 16, 2013, 06:42:01 AM
Guys, as you can see in my response to Korbman, I come hat in the hand to you.

If you are able to donate some for a worthy cause I would really appreciate it!

We as a group have 1 x 100 chip order and we need all the discount we can get!

Thanks in advance!

Have a great day!

ps: We have 40 already, so we need another 60 for max discount Smiley

note to self: maybe I must do a from the community, for the community thing. Nah!! They will figure it out!! Smiley

Hmm interesting offer, though I can't say I'd have much personal use for the credits. If I read it correctly, I should have 176..so that's neat, I suppose.

Whenever I get the codes I know I'll just end up off loading them to someone who wants them.

Hi Korbman

We are busy with such a project and we are all pooling together (bunch of ordinary guys with extraordinary plans!!).
If you would like to donate it to a worthy cause it will be much appreciated!

Have a great day!!

55  Economy / Services / Re: Time share accomodation in South Africa on: June 03, 2013, 09:39:21 AM
It depends if its for holiday accommodation and also how many people it will be for.

It also depends on the location.

At the current exchange rate you will be able to get by with $100 per person per day for a fairly ok place.

I stayed at a 4 star bead and breakfast place last week in Midrand in Johanensburg and it was R 650.00 per night, which is about $ 65.00.

Hope it helps!
56  Economy / Services / Re: Time share accomodation in South Africa on: June 02, 2013, 06:32:02 PM
Is this for holiday or permanent accommodation?
For how many people?

It also depends on location.

Where are you from?

Hi all

Im testing the water here..

Would you be interested in time share accommodation in South Africa?
Where would you like to go/stay?

How much are you prepared to pay per day?
Bear in mind that a lot of the places can sleep 4 to 6 people in the same chalet/flat
