41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it neccessary to do KYC for ICO? on: February 19, 2018, 05:20:06 PM
ICO is banned in some countries, so KYC is needed to prove you aren't from those countries.

Look for ICOs with real product and real revenue.  This will help protect you from scams.
Many ICO use big buzz words but who knows if they can actually deliver.

46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it a good time to buy altcoins? on: February 15, 2018, 08:28:53 PM
If you believe in blockchain technology and crypto, its a good time since we already had our correction.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you truly believe in cryptocurrency on: February 12, 2018, 05:40:14 PM
Crytpo and blockchain is pretty big.  Many companies are starting to use blockchain technology so its still in the infancy stages.  Rules and regulations are being implemented so we may see rough times until then but the regulations is good for crypto in general.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Down on: February 09, 2018, 10:11:01 PM
Having same binance issues.  Feels strange when you have funds and can't access them.  In crypto hours it seems like forever.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How profitable is cryptocurrency mining in 2018 on: January 31, 2018, 10:57:49 PM
Depends on  how much power your system draws and how effective you can cool the system.  I mined with a machine in my office room which had the thermostat to the whole house right outside the office room.  So the A/C to the whole house was kicking on all the time.  So the A/C cost with the cost of the power from the system and the noise it created wasn't worth it for me.

But those who have a dedicated place for mining and can cool it would still be profitable.  And the more machines you can keep in same location the more profit you will squeeze out.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why you should avoid Pump & Dump groups! Don't be fooled on: January 31, 2018, 10:52:47 PM
Agreed, everyone do yourself a favor and don't participate in the P&D groups, you will only get hurt in the long run.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The next big coin in your opinion? on: January 31, 2018, 05:15:37 PM
I like blockchain platform type of coins like ETH, NEO, ICON, ZIL, TAU, etc.  But its so hard to tell which one people will decide to support the most.  ICON has a good chance just because of the sheer number of partnerships they have.  ETH and NEO are always good but its already a top coin.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why most ICOs ask for KYC? on: January 30, 2018, 11:31:00 PM
to help ensure that the people contributing aren't from the countries prohibiting ico
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I Buy or Sell now? on: January 26, 2018, 10:00:27 PM
If you believe in blockchain and crypto, then you know the market will rebound so why sell when its very low?

55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blood-Bath Over? on: January 25, 2018, 08:56:04 PM
The up and down nature of the coins is pretty normal in crypto.  Hang on tight because there is still a fun run coming.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is a million dollars possible? on: January 24, 2018, 11:00:42 PM
many have become millionaires off crypto, so its definitely possible, even at this stage in the game.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to leave Altcoin in Exchange on: January 24, 2018, 10:59:35 PM
There is always a risk, but exchanges are fairly safe.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins are going to change our lives? on: January 22, 2018, 08:34:25 AM
Centra will change non-crypto peoples lives.  It allows people that don't know much about crypto to be able to spend it using a regular debitcard at any store.  Now your grandparents can use it.  It will be the bridge until crypto point to point sales happen.  But for that to happen globally, it needs to be accepted by the older generation first.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will Altcoins Survive on: January 22, 2018, 08:32:21 AM
alt coins are real companies creating real products to solve problems in the current world.  Much more useful than bitcoin actually.  altcoins are here to stay.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top 2 altcoins to invest in NOW. on: January 21, 2018, 07:56:31 PM
