It doesn't matter how many times people tell them, or even if you explain that theres no rationale in moving a perfectly fine POS coin (before the dev dumped his wallet on exchanges) to ERC20. Or even if you ask what happened to the airdrops, the lotteries, the masternode promises. All rationality has gone from this discussion to be replaced by random newbie accounts talking up the token combined with hopeful and slightly teary bag holders, hoping beyond any sense of rationality that it may suddenly become a marketable commodity again. |

You would expect as supply is reduced that the price would increase as a result, meaning each flik will have greater value in the market. Although in crypto, nothing is for sure Of course  To what extent would you expect? If the bitcoin fork was not occuring, as well as the ethereum upgrade, I would say 70 cents by next year. But with those two big things going on everyone is holding their eth and btc, so may reach less. I cant remember exactly but I think at a dollar each token remaining after the burn it would of been around #50 on coinmarketcap which is not unforseeable. Hence, million dollar question I guess! Streaming video IS the now and the future of entertainment. No one bothers with other mediums anymore. The question is can Flik deliver a service that will have at least 5% market share; that alone would be a significant amount of revenue. I am optimistic they will with some partnerships they have already announced. Using the approach of working with existing players in the market rather than against them is very smart. They wont take over netflix, anyone saying that is dreaming; flik is way too new its like a newborn baby. It has to learn to crawl before it can walk. But the market is so huge that even a small share would be epic for a company born out of an ico. Also Flik is broader than just a streaming service as its looking at funding projects too, but anyone can check out the website and see that info if they wish. Usual caveat applies: this is my opinion and I welcome people to comment with differing opinions. After all thats what makes these forums great. |

There is so much FUD here I could claw my eyes out. If you lost money on the project you are not alone and I can empathize as I bought in near the top. It's time to move on.

eBTC has potential.
Mercatox is hosting a USER based vote to remove eBTC.
They do this occasionally when a large group messages them to remove a coin.
If you want to buy in after the swap that is up to you. It's certainly less risk but for the price you are getting it at a 1\5 of it's corrected value and once the swap finished it will likely be too late.
I can't stop anyone from shitting all over this project and it's hard to defend something I lost a 25% of my portfolio too. Even still the room for growth is on a massive scale so it's ignorant to not hold any.
I am a bagholder. (small bag) but I am someone who wants to see this project develop. I am sick of the fud and the apparent smear campaign to sway community value in the project. Stop trying to high-jack this forum with your ecash or e-whater.

Once ebtc is delisted, it may live on, but no one can ever trade it on exchanges again, as what occurred here is a crime and fraud by the founder and he will be caught soon.
I still dont see the crime in it. Satoshi21 created in his basement with a simpel smart contract 21million tokens. He gave them away for free, with just a philospohy. After that the market went crazy, but it is not Satoshi his fault it hyped. The hype, what this coins stands for etc was all in the minds off those who bought it. There was nothing else. That he was trying to cash out was no crime either, there is no law he could not cash out, and or unplug his site and delete his accounts. I agree, some people even made few grands from it. If some people invested in this coin it was their choice and they are only to blame. Sometimes I think, human nature being what it is, the only way to stop a dev from dumping when the market is high, is if they create a coin or token where they hold less than 10% from the start. A smart dev if they hold alot will sell piecemeal to the market giving it time to recover from the trades. |

Well. A lot has happened to get to this point. And it is going to be a lot to take in so bare with me.
I am in charge of marketing/public relations. My name is Manny. Nice to meet you. I was attracted to the project because of it’s very simple idea and core value. It just seems like a great idea, I thought. Oh boy did I sign up for a world of craziness.
Let’s catch up.
Satoshi21 created eBTC, he formed a team, then abandoned the project and left everything behind. It might be hard to believe but he has his reasons and we don’t fault him for that. Although he could have warned us.
The Road Ahead
The eBTC team has got everything they need to proceed with the project. We have the private keys/the developers/the marketing team/the core team. We are aiming for the moon while keeping our heads down and working hard to develop eBTC.
The Plan Is Simple
In the coming days we have a lot to do. A lot of fires to put out and a lot of progress needs to be made to ensure the community trusts eBTC.
Here’s what we are working on.
Rebuilding
We will be actively building up our follower base on all social media platforms and creating content to keep our community informed
Code Audit
To make sure we don’t have the same mistakes again, we will be having the code audited (looked over) by many different people to ensure it is flawless
Token Swap
Once the code has been finalized and implemented we will be honoring everyone who has supported eBTC so far with a 1:1 token swap.
(This means you trade the eBTC tokens from the flawed contract to the eBTC tokens to the new flawless contract)
Exchanges
We have numerous emails to send out to ensure that multiple exchanges list eBTC. Really nothing more than just reaching out and seeing how to get listed.

I’ve mentioned it before and you can even check the ETHD dark thread. I was the CM from $.50 too $4, during this time I managed the community across many channels, created articles and media for which no payment was received, after having no reply’s to my emails and no payment for my work, I made the decision to leave was easily made for myself, after leaving the community had zero contact from anyone within the “team” which caused the price too drop. Since if you check the ETHD thread the developer has now made a payment to moderators for the work and apologised for the late payments. Hope that clears it up! Hi Manny 802529er , your reply is appreciated. And if you received no payment for all your work there, then that is rather disappointing as you were the only source of any information for a good couple of weeks. I do hope with time you can regain the trust of the bitcointalk community, however I remain skeptical and I sure you understand why. I will be delighted if I am proved wrong with time. |

Have the devs considered reaching out for cross promotion, with Cream Magazine? They might be keen to write an article about Cream Coin, considering their target market is the generation that are into crypto. Besides them loving the name, they could run a comp and giveaway some Cream Coin merch to increase exposure. Just a thought devs.
