41  Other / Off-topic / Re: Getting up and having positive hope on: November 25, 2022, 01:23:53 PM
It's really easy to wake up excited for the day if you have something to look forward to. It doesn't matter if it's a hobby, project you're doing or a line or work that brings satisfaction. Sometimes it's hard to sleep when I'm working on something new that I enjoy, because I can't wait to get right back after it.

The key is having goals and purpose. Working towards those goals everyday will build your excitement for life.

Good luck!

43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN created by NSA & Promoted by BIS since 1997; Trust Seriously U R Joking? on: November 14, 2022, 03:46:55 PM
What the OP says is not baseless, he is correct about SHA256 being created by NSA:

Quote
SHA-2 (Secure Hash Algorithm 2) is a set of cryptographic hash functions designed by the United States National Security Agency (NSA) and first published in 2001.[3][4] They are built using the Merkle–Damgård construction, from a one-way compression function itself built using the Davies–Meyer structure from a specialized block cipher.

44  Other / Serious discussion / Re: How do you create good habits and break bad ones, what actually works? on: November 13, 2022, 05:52:44 PM
Get outside and meet people. Join groups and have hobbies and activities. Bad habits and poor choices are a result of being stagnant and not working towards your goals.

If you are on the path of growth then you will delite in your progress and not worry about minor setbacks. You will be excited about putting in effort to reach your full potential.

This may all very well be true, but BTC is still better than Fiat. There could be a kill switch, but at that time we will have much bigger problems.

If anyone really wants to buck the system, then go 100% off the grid and barter.
46  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you feel that time is passing faster? on: November 12, 2022, 02:44:03 PM
Time appears to move faster as you get older because the more you experience the less exciting new things are. As a child, a simple car ride is a fun new experience. As an adult, you rarely "stop and smell the roses" so you get stuck in routines. These routines make time go by much faster. The key, is to live life with a childlike wonder and appreciate each moment that you are given.

48  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which social media platform is easiest to monetize? on: November 12, 2022, 12:54:08 AM
Me personally, I don't like to build a business on social media platforms because they can terminate your account for any reason.

It's better to build a mailing list or website that captures user contact info because you never know. I had a twitter account with 50K+ subscribers suspended for no reason, and a Facebook group with 100K+ fans deleted.

Once you have a website or newsletter, you can branch off onto social media but you have to be careful.

50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Not your key not your coins is real, not just quoted. on: November 12, 2022, 12:29:24 AM
After Mt Gox you'd think people would learn. I have a friend that has all his crypto on an exchange wallet. I have been telling him for over a year to take them off. I even offered to help him free of charge. He just doesn't care or think that anything bad could happen. This same person I told to sell at the top $60k and he was hypnotized by YouTube pump and dumpers that Bitcoin was going to hit $100k+ by the end of 2021.

Thank God he listened to me about XRP. He was ALL In on XRP, and finally came to and exchanged for BTC. He's still down 90%+ net worth but newbs will be newbs.

Most women do not want to be wives. They value freedom, experiences and choice. In this modern world there is no incentive for women to stay married, and there are few benefits for men.

Quote
He who finds a wife finds a good thing, And obtains favor from the LORD.
-Proverbs 18:22

Quote
Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
-Proverbs 31:10

Keep in mind these proverbs were written 3500 years ago  Wink

56  Other / Off-topic / Re: What would you do if you won $1Billion+ Powerball/Lottery? on: November 09, 2022, 06:29:29 AM
Wait a few months before claiming, hire an attorney to process the winning ticket anonymously and never tell a soul.

I would also pay cash for the ticket and walk to the store so my identity was protected. Opt for the annualized payments for maximum value.

After that, I would carry on living life normally while making smart, calculated investments. It's really the only way to live a normal life after winning that much money.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Web 3.0 have a future? on: November 03, 2022, 03:51:59 AM
It should be the future, but TPTB do not like decentralization that is for sure.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Litecoin a forgotten cryptocurrency? on: November 02, 2022, 02:47:45 PM
I love Litecoin and have been using it alongside BTC for years. It's fast and accepted almost everywhere Bitcoin is.

It's a great secondary crypto for everyday transactions.
