А чтобы приносить прибыль, актив должен обладать внутренней ценностью. И, собственно, механизмом извлечения из него прибыли, помимо спекулятивного.
Биткоин имеет внутреннюю ценность только как средство платежа (валюта).
Так что утверждение, что Биткоин актив, а не криптовалюта, весьма сомнительно.
