41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] The Divi Project [DIVI] - The First Crypto for Mainstream Adoption on: May 29, 2018, 05:35:30 AM
eventhough maiinet lauch will be a little delayed, I`m have a still a good faith about the project.
Looking forward to run my first MN!
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] æternity blockchain ∞ AE TOKEN ∞ [PoW & PoS | Oracles | Smart Contracts] on: May 29, 2018, 05:33:45 AM
For some reason, I thought we might be the platform for a kora token... or for some other facet of the project. After all, isn't that what aeternity-ventures is all about?
what is the kora token?
can you share more details please? this is first time i hear abt it
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] æternity blockchain ∞ AE TOKEN ∞ [PoW & PoS | Oracles | Smart Contracts] on: May 28, 2018, 12:42:11 AM
I am thrilled to always see the passion and hardwork the team shows towards AE project to keep developing and reach its targets. Looking forward for mainnet launch!

updated roadmap looks really impressive.
Keep doing what you are doing guys, great job!
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining Alt coins on: May 28, 2018, 12:27:22 AM
Even though I have read the post and gone through the comments yet I did not really get the basic of this mining stuff, maybe someone should please simplify it for me, I will be glad if someone can do that for me
in general there are 3 ways:
1) use multialgo miner (like nicehash, or any other that you can find in this subforum)
2) mine any coin based on whattomine or any similar mining calculator with highest profit for you config
3) watch the thread of new altcoins and mine it right after it launches when the difficulty is low, but there is a risk that new coin might be never listed on any exchange so you will not be able to sell it, so you need to choose it carefully and analyse technology behind it first.

How much will LWF be necessary for masternode collateral? To buy as much as I miss when is cheap.

The way I look at it, probably with a 50,000 LWF or more but let's wait until the official announcement is made in this regards to enable interested people get into this

50k. I hope you are not right, Can be very expensive LWF MN.
The price will not be a long time on the only 1k satoshi's
i do hope so too, 50k is way too high.
i expect LFW to be at least 1$ by 2019
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: LUXCoin—PHI1612 PoW/PoS Hybrid—PoS Web Wallet—SC—SegWit—LuxGate—Parallel MN on: May 23, 2018, 06:20:56 AM
is this true that LUX will be forked to phi2 algo to make it FPGA resistant?
as far as i understood FPGAs are not like asics and can easily switching algos by software changes.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] GRAFT - Universal Payment Processing Network on: May 22, 2018, 11:23:46 PM
guys can you please share any reliable and decent graft mining calculator?
wondering if it`s still worth to mine
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🌎【ANN】【ICO】🌎 LWF - First decentralized logistics platform - 🌎 on: May 22, 2018, 12:01:08 PM
Im more and more convinced that I`ve made right choice for investing in LWF platform.
right after bounty hunters ran away price is getting over ther ICO price and volume is increasing day by day.
looking forward when we will be able to use LFW in real life to pay for pacel shipments.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] æternity blockchain ∞ AE TOKEN ∞ [PoW & PoS | Oracles | Smart Contracts] on: May 21, 2018, 11:09:23 PM
Does aeternity will launch its mainnet on June? well, the hype is about to rock again if we look at the member joining the groups chat increase every day!!
it was confirmed few posts before that mainnet launch is still on schedule and there was no changes.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How to setup AWS EC2 F1 mining Xilinx FPGA on: May 18, 2018, 10:01:20 AM
there were few posts related to AWS in another post related to FPGA mining and one person told that he does mine via AWS FPGA but someone also mentioned that actually amazon does not allow it and bans immediately once you get caught.

Exactly this. In the unlikely chance that you even get to use these FPGAs for crypto, AWS has automated monitoring bots that will find out you are mining. They will of course terminate your miner and your entire AWS account. I wouldn't want to go through all the hassle. If you're going to learn how to FPGA anyway just buy and invest in real machines instead.
would definately give it a try, but it`s not availabe in my country or the prices offered makes the ROI to high for investing.
I`m waiting for chineese analogs, once the giants will realize the opportunity.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ravencoin [RVN] PoW GPU Mining | Asset Transfer Blockchain (Updated ANN) on: May 18, 2018, 09:58:47 AM
Can this coin be 20$ in 10 years? I have 14081.59990099

In ten years anything is possible. It sure would be nice. I just mined my first 1000 RVN.
not sure about 20$ and project perspercitve in 10 years, but i`m almost sure that the price might increase a lot this year. the diff is probably to skyrocket in few months because of FPGAs spreading

if somepme will made a fpga for this  then no more gpu mining for this to . as it worse than asic  . do you think its possible for this algo ? maybe hard but i read that it can be done to bed its only asic proof and no fpga proof or am i wrong ?.

You are correct that x16r is ASIC resistant, but there's not much that can be done to make it FPGA resistant at this time.
Suppose it`s already exists or very close for release; not sure where that guy got the hashrate, but:
X16R: 2 cards daisy chained get 600MH/s total (1 card worth around 4-5k USD)
(link here - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3459858.msg36162701#msg36162701)

8k for 600 mhs lol , add on top of it all the work you have to do and custom cooling setups since these things have no heatsinks or fans

i can do 500 or so mhs of x16 for like 6k , now the huge difference could be the power savings though
with what setup you can do 500 mh with 6k?
the power consumption is also the key, as 2 FPGA runs around 300-400 wh, while any other setup for same hashrate will have x15-x20 power consumption
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Liquid cooled GPU Miner 200 mh/s Ethereum 8 * ASUS MINING-P106-6G on: May 18, 2018, 04:25:08 AM
4999 euros for 200 mhs, seriously?
The style is great, but think you guys missed one key thing - 20+ month ROI with current profitability (and i do not consider difficulty skyrocket in few months after asics distribution and posible POS for ETH)

Thanx for the style comment ) Our mining device supports multiple hashing algorithms which is perfect for mining ETH, ZCash (which for some time was more profitable than ETH), Monero (the fork killed all asics for this one).

POS is not an issue here, it is a multitasking device (also for 3D rendering) and as I said, you can switch to other crypto currencies.

And what will you say about the hardfork to deter Asic miners?  Unlike the Bitcoin fork through which Bitcoin Cash was created, this fork will not generate a new token. In addition, not only will the ASIC miners become inoperative but it will also invalidate the botnets with which XMR has been being mined, taking advantage of the computing capacity of unsuspecting users since infected machines cannot be updated.
no offence, but few of my 1060s rigs are built from shitty wooden bulks combined with few metal plates and all of them are open. It looks really crappy as frankestein, but works stable without any issues and no problems with overheat with correct OC settings.

looks like a great bolt on hardware, just wonder abt the price and warranty.
Also seems they are trying to sell as much as possible before GTX 11xx generation release

I have read many posts but so far it seems that it is just an exercise of learning. Just wondering if it can be profile as it does not look like it can. I can understand that they will ban you if you use it with a free subscription but as a paid customer I can't see them caring.
it would be great if you find a solution and post it here Smiley
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How to setup AWS EC2 F1 mining Xilinx FPGA on: May 17, 2018, 11:20:25 AM
Google is not bering very good to me so I'm asking.

Is there any resroce or person that has managed to setup a AWS F1 mining altcoin profitably?
there were few posts related to AWS in another post related to FPGA mining and one person told that he does mine via AWS FPGA but someone also mentioned that actually amazon does not allow it and bans immediately once you get caught.
Sorry cannot give you the links, as i spent few hrs on reading that thread, so do your own research if you are interested.
IMO there should be a way and it worth it yet, unless not too much people involved

after a few weeks tests i really like phoenixminer, stale shares are much less comparing the others.
IT would be great to see linux version in nearest future
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] GRAFT - Universal Payment Processing Network on: May 16, 2018, 08:38:48 AM
nice jump by graft on the market today.
wondering what caused this pump and if dump is coming
sorry didnt realise that was a tiny volume on the tradeorge.
seems just a tuna bought a bunch of graft, but still positive tredline. keeping my faith on the graft development
