41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XAS] Asch | Decentralized Application Platform Based on Side-chain on: October 23, 2017, 01:00:36 PM
Hey huys, is there any good news about Asch, it seems the price and volume of Asch on bit-z pump a lot today, so exciting
i aslo want to know what happend today, why does the xas price pumped so much?

Making moves at the end of October & year's end.   Cool

All in all, I'm impressed.  Great community so far.  Impressive wallet.  Very good communication.  Many channels to get answers.

Glad I joined when I did.

I'd go for it.  China's intense amount of money will play everyone in 2018.

What's with Binance for example?

I love Binance, personally.  I've used it as much as Bittrex.  Super easy, clean, and nice to manage through.

Still new, so...my 2 cents.

Hi everyone.

Beware Bit-Z and Coinegg.

Bit-Z, shit, a gamut of awful things the last 24 hours.  Funds are still frozen.  Glitches.  I got my XAS out the second they hit.  It almost feels like they are freezing and releasing them just when my buy orders dip below certain levels, and the price dips.

COINEGG ONLY LETS YOU WITHDRAW IN BTC!!!!!

I sold at a gain and got the hell out to go elsewhere.

Can you imagine if you put 5 BTC into Bit-Z to buy XAS and they froze 4.9 of it 48 hours before the fork?

Never again.

You are warned.

Supposedly, this e-mail of their pick goes out to their people at 6AM EST.  That's 90 minutes from now.

As rumor dipped from NAV to ZEN, NAV crashed back down, and ZEN went from $7 to $28.

It's stuck at $20 (weirdly, the articles supposed buy-call) for 4 hours.  Not dipping.  I'd say it's now or never.  I'd say worst case is break even or small gains with whatever happens the next month with the quoted supposed "big news in the next few weeks."

Those who sold for heavy profits should consider buying back in.  Seriously.

Time to go.  In or out, my friends.  This is your exact middle.

Godspeed.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Palm Beach Confidential October 2017 on: October 20, 2017, 06:21:33 AM
Insane sell walls keeping it from dipping below $20.

Wait 4 hours.  If it doesn't dip below $20, pull the trigger.
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth moving 1/2 a Bitcoin for the hard-fork? on: October 20, 2017, 04:21:15 AM
I would say yes if that will happen..
Better safe than sorry. If the exchanger or wallet doesent support the upcoming hardfork maybe you should exchange it or sell now and trade it to other kind of coins.
Or move to other walley best solution I think..
I am worried too but I will wait further more for updates of admin and moderators of this forum

This is like...the worst advice.

Dafuq.

Thanks, everyone.  Will seek options.

in bitcoin we trust Smiley buy bitcoin guys and reap the rewards/profit later Smiley

I'm not talking about buying.

"Move it to a Trezor."

The USB cold wallet?  Don't have time to order it, and I live in China / don't trust ordering one here (too much tampering)

Hi all, confused about the hard fork.

Using Exodus wallet, and supposedly they do not support the Bitcoin Gold fork tokens...

The fees on moving a half a bitcoin with Exodus would be a few dollars I think.

Would having 1/2 a coin be worth moving my funds to a supporting wallet?

Thanks!

Totally worth it given that Bitcoin gold will have a substantial value after the fork which will most likely be the case. Spending a few dollars for fee shouldn't matter that much as you will gaining much more from the Bitcoin gold which you can sell after the fork so go forth and transfer it to a wallet/exchange service that supports BTG.

I still can't find a good answer to how to store, and many say a "snapshot" has already been taken to give people their BTC Gold...is that true?

Also, looking back, people say "store it in Bittrex", etc, but Bittrex is locking accounts, and I really don't want to store on an exchange, ever!

Some say you can export your Exodus private key into a BTCG wallet, but I still am unsure.

As a newbie, it's crucial to not mess up at this point.

Hmm...
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth moving 1/2 a Bitcoin for the hard-fork? on: October 20, 2017, 02:42:00 AM
I would say yes. Compared to bch, thats $150.

Interesting.

What's the safest desktop wallet, then, for easy storage?  Heard of Samourai...

But where does the forked coin get stored?  How does one truly access it afterwards?

So confused.

If you want to get into alt-coins, right now is the time to do it.  Read until your eyes bleed, then choose a few different coins you believe in that have also bled as much.

Just went in on XVG, METAL, MTH, and SONM.

Holding.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The next 100x-1000x coin? on: October 19, 2017, 03:32:46 PM
I think there are too many altcoin now and x100 or x1000 is absolutely impossible because if the altcoin is really potential then whales or investors will pump altcoin that x5 is out of level and can not push higher prices.

Wrong.

I don't think many people realize that this is still some serious, wild west shit.  Especially with ALTS right now, this week.

Get in or get out.

SONM.

Will be interesting to watch this thread in 2018.  Grin
56  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Opinion: These are unprecedented times to be in Bitcoin... on: October 19, 2017, 01:05:20 AM
Hey all.  New to the game, and finally signed up for all the things mere days before that major China FUD went down. Lucky me I guess, though I only had the funds to buy less than half a coin.

However, after years of watching, let me say this:

These are insanely exciting times to be in the market.

I often see people saying "It's too late!  I wish I had...", and I think that is ridiculous.  We're only getting started, in my opinion, with the new groundworks of so many different branches of the industry, you are now about to see the second layer of so many good things, with new rivals coming in for privacy, POS, banking, platforms. Our major "firsts" like Ethereum, Monero, etc have clutched the market, but it's only a matter of time before their code is used to rise another, better, stronger branch. Most solid projects are still just babies.

If you need a reminder, go look at the Coin Market Cap screenshot from January 2017.

Don't let China fool you. It's my opinion they will come back in insane ways. I live here, and I know them. As you buy into projects, don't forget home-grown Chinese tokens. They stick to their own like nobody else, and theres over one billion people here, with so much new money it'd make your head spin.

It's also my opinion, that we are seeing unprecedented times for alternative coins.

Right now, many are bleeding.  If you bought in at highs, I apologize, but if you didn't, read until your eyes bleed, pick a few project that interest you, buy in as much as you can, AND THEN WALK AWAY FROM THEM FOR A FEW MONTHS.

Every major dip in Bitcoin at this point adds millions of potential dollars that can (and likely will) flow elsewhere in the upcoming weeks.

I highly suggest you do not day-trade alts right now unless you have serious disposable funding.  If you are down, WAIT!  I burned myself just a tad ($30) to make one swap, and that's my limit.  Not learning any lessons the hard way.

People who are new : Place your bets, and sit on them until the new year, and chances are, you will be glad you did.

Keep panic at bay, and remember, you made these decisions originally for a reason.

Trust yourself.

We're only just beginning, my friends.

Good luck out there.

58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Privacy Alt-coins that could rival Monero / Dash / ZCash....? on: October 18, 2017, 12:45:29 AM
Hey all,

Been digging into privacy coins lately, and seeking a new, lower priced alternative to Monero / Dash / Zcash for future holding.

Looked into Zencash, but it seems to be a fork of a fork...not sure how I feel about that.

With so many alternatives, most which sit around $5....

VIVO $6.34
KORE $5.46
ZENCASH 6.83
PIVX $3.74
PARTICL $5.75

How do you wrap your head around a good pick?

Any new players upcoming, or recently released?
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 15.000 Euros, what shoul I do ? on: October 17, 2017, 05:14:05 PM
Wait for a Bitcoin dip.  Buy Bitcoin.  Hate to say it having just put chunks into ALTS, but, yeah.  Do that.

If you must buy ALTS, read until your eyes bleed, set a maximum profit price in which you'll sell (100%, 300%, etc), buy, and hold until that amount, or total bust.
60  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Talk to me about this hard fork... (re : Storage / Partial BTC = BTG?) on: October 17, 2017, 01:50:32 PM
Hey all,

I'm new, and a bit confused about the upcoming hard fork.

I only own part of a BTC, less than half, bought during the major China crash (I signed up merely days before, just my luck I guess.)

Would this receive BTC Gold during the fork, if held in the correct wallet?

I currently use Exodus, which I really like, but supposedly they do not support this coin at the fork.

The fees for Exodus would be more than a few dollars, I think, to move this much BTC, and I'd really rather not move it TBH.

What are my options?  I've heard of mobile phone wallets, but that makes me nervous.

Would the amount of BTC Gold be worth moving my funds?

Thanks.
