42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunters are not beggars on: November 09, 2018, 04:58:46 PM
I hate to see bounty hunters beg for tokens, after working to promote a project.

Some people would say that bounty participants are given free tokens and so they feel they should not be treated well and perhaps not be paid.
Even if you do not invest your money directly into a project, you have indirectly invested money.

- The time you spend in promoting a project is much more precious than money, because time spent or wasted cannot be regained, while money can still be regained even if wasted.

- You have spent your energy and effort. As a matter of fact, there are people that sleep so late at night, just because they are trying to promote a project. Except you feel you are not honest enough.

- The electricity used, internet facilities used and other amenities used are paid for.   For instance, in my country, there is no free internet facility and i spend so much on browsing data.

All of these if looked into sometimes and the cost implication made, might be much more than the money anyone might have invested directly into a project.

Therefore, you are not to beg for tokens, you are also like any other investor, who has invested his/her money.

If your services are not needed as bounty hunters, there would not have been any token allocated for that.

The right word is claim and not beg.

I see most investors look down on Bounty hunters because they feel they are responsible for crashing the price or value of a project .

While it is great to enlighten people about bounty hunters, I believe this is just a case of perception. Bounty hunters are important in the blockchain Ecosystem just like investors..

However I must say that some BH make the situation seem bad with their blackmail techniques  which is why BH are termed beggars
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is it to put everything in one cryptocurrency? on: November 09, 2018, 04:48:43 PM
I've been thinking a lot about this issue. I heard more than once that many are discussing this topic. Is it safe to invest everything in one, two cryptocurrencies? Or to distribute all the money in all the coins available for this amount?

There are many paths to destination and this holds true to investing. Since the market is still evolving, it is a risk to put all your investment in one project but then again it depends on how much you know about the project or coin.

What's is most important is that you follow basic investment wisdom which is not to invest more than you can lose.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think 2017 was the best Year for Crypto on: November 09, 2018, 04:43:48 PM
As we know that, During the Nov 17 - Mar 18 The price of Crypto was too good I mean End of 2017 and start of 2018 is the best year of crypto. Whats your opinion?

This was the year of so much hype. Every investor thought he could be super rich by investing in any coin but now investors are becoming smarter and the market is beginning to mature . No one wants to invest in just ideas
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My First Post on: November 09, 2018, 04:39:53 PM
Hello Everyone.

I am new to crypto market, though I have done some reading and trend analysis, I seek your advice and help on what are the major Do's and Dont's when trying to invest?

Please guide me regarding where to invest and how to go about it?

Thanks

Great that you have come to the space prepared. There is not much to learn except using old time wisdom such as never investing more than you can lose and not falling for projects that don't make common sense.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable Coins Necessary? on: November 09, 2018, 04:37:43 PM

Currently seems every project or crypto company wanna create a stable coin now, except USDT, currently we have GUSD, TUSD, PAX.

But do you think it's really necessary to have so many stable coins?

The crypto market is faced with so much volatility so the school of thought is that there needs to be a stable coin that will prevent such so that investors can invest in cryptocurrency . It doesn't matter if there are so many stable coins , in time , whether this model will survive will be known.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coin Acceptance. on: November 09, 2018, 04:32:03 PM
There are lots of coins this days and more are still emerging by the day. If eventually cryptocurrency becomes accepted globally and it's been adopted for usage, do you think all the coins would be accepted for usage or only a  selected few?

It depends on so many factors ; tokenomics of these digital assets is key. No every coin will be accepted . Some will eventually be phased out by other coins .
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gaming and crypto in the same place on: November 09, 2018, 04:29:58 PM
I just stumble across this project called Ludos and they seem to be a really good project to keep an eye on for those who are interested in gaming and crypto. Right now they are in their private sale and the whitepaper is ready to read. It is a really interesting one and worth taking a look on it.

What kind of games do Ludos offer ? They seem to be a nice project but how do they differentiate themselves from the competition? It is not just about joining the cryptospace
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Help on bounty on: October 30, 2018, 05:48:28 AM
Hi guys
I wonder why i usually don't recive my coin from the bounty and i always do it in right way
Usually i don't get any thing and i don't have a big balance
And i need to help if you can

You need to follow the rules of the bounty that means reading carefully and taken note of tasks. I once missed some rewards because even though I was posting, I forgot to add the avatar.

So make sure you follow the rules
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still believe in crypto? on: October 30, 2018, 05:46:40 AM
Hey guys, I wanna ask you a simple question. Do you still believe in crypto? Do you think it will strike back and we all will be rich? Why?

Not to disappoint you but joining crypto isn't about getting rich but holding on to a revolution that is going to change the world. Crypto is going to change the world like the internet has done. For early adopters, indeed riches can't be far off but this will take a while. Are you willing to wait till that time?
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Greedy Bounty Managers on: October 30, 2018, 05:44:02 AM
To all greedy bounty managers this message is for you. You know we, bounty hunters, have allocated our time and effort to do our tasks in exchange for rewards. We have done our job so we have right to receive our salary. Why are you so greedy? You wanna become rich fast? And then what? You have all the money in this world and then what? Money is not everything.

Surprised to see a bounty hunter venting his displeasure about greedy bounty managers. Well I hope your message reaches out to them . Not all managers are greedy and also this is life.Best anyone can do is accept the loss and move forward
52  Other / Archival / Re: Future of crypto is good or bad? on: October 28, 2018, 08:07:07 AM
I want to invest my savings into cryptocurrency. So I am thinking about the future of cryptocurrency. What do you think? Do you think the future or cryptocurrency is good? Or do you think, the future or cryptocurrency is bad?
Please help me, because I am going to invest all of my savings. So if I make a bad decision me and my family will be on the street.

Cryptocurrency is the future and I hope you have invested in some coins but please don't invest more than you can lose as the crypto market is just maturing and has not reached a high level of adoption
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: In 10 years 20$ will turn 100k on: October 28, 2018, 07:45:22 AM
10 years time in crypto currencies . 20$ will become at least 100k?
Rn I'm holding tron, and eos 20$ and ontology 10$ airdrop. I don't plan on moving it around cus its nothing to me. I'll wait it out 10 years.

Good for you that you have this kind of faith in cryptocurrency and you are willing good for 10years . Indeed cryptocurrency is the future.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will the marketcap of Ethereum surpass Bitcoin? on: October 28, 2018, 07:39:05 AM

Bitcoin currently suffers from a serious scalability issue with no solution on the horizon. Ethereum constantly gains greater acceptance and hosts an increasing number of projects on its blockchain. When will the inevitable occur? My opinion is that in about one year the marketcap of Ethereum will be greater than that of Bitcoin.

Most people who talk about the market cap of Ethereum surpassing that of bitcoin either don't understand the technology behind bitcoin and ether or they limit their valuation based on price.

Just because Bitcoin and ether are cryptocurrency does not mean that they are the same.  Ether is focused more on dapps and smart contract than bitcoin

So rather than think of comparing them, I would focus on looking at the possibility of them solving their issues
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why everyone becoming the holder? on: October 28, 2018, 07:33:21 AM
No offense, but I think holding coins at this bear market doesn't any sense. Why is everyone becoming the crypto holder? From the Legendary to a newbie, most of the people suggest to hold, But why? Yes, I know holding coin may give a bug rewards in future because I was a holder too. I had 15K USD, and my all of USD becomes less than 4K USD in front of my eyes. I just keep checking my wallet and every time my feelings were the same " sucks". Are you holding to be a millionaire like some people who bought bitcoin at 5 USD or less price and sold in more than 10K USD?

I did not hold for lose my capital. Did you? Then why you still holding and losing your money. Please kindly learn to trade. By trading your coins, in this bear market, you can make a lot of money within a few days to months.

I sold my all coins in the last month when bitcoin huts 8400 USD, and then I keep continue trading. In this one month, I made more than 2200 USD Profits. Now I had all of past holding coins with extra 2200 USD Profit.

If you can't trade or if you totally newbie here, then you may keep holding. But at least I suggest learning how to trade. This is my personal opinion. You may follow it or not. Best of luck.

Thank You.

Wow! So great . However, this is your investment strategy . Hodling coins is a bad strategy if you know what you are doing. What is worse is entering the market with no goal at all or not having an exit plan. Thanks for the tip
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: End of ethereum? on: October 28, 2018, 06:31:00 AM
Hey guys. Ethereum is looking really bad today. 200$ is lower than on September 2017 ;( Do you think it will recover with crypto market? Or this is the end of ethereum?

Judging the value of Ethereum based on its present price is kind of limiting. Ethereum has a great community of developers backing it and this is priceless and would be beneficial to it in the future

Right now it's working on the issues that are preventing it to scale . Once this is done, price will follow
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Worried about Crypto currency future on: October 28, 2018, 06:27:43 AM
What do you thing, where crypto currency is going? Do you think this is end of crypto?

Far from it, I believe it is just the beginning. Cryptocurrency is going to solve a lot of issues especially when it comes to transactions. As the no of mobile users increases and internet adoption gets to the rural areas, just imagine how much this will impact transactions
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Or Trading? on: October 28, 2018, 06:25:00 AM
I will ask you which one is the most beneficial of these two things? what will you choose? and explain why you chose it. who knows it will give input to everyone who reads. if I myself might be a bounty can be profitable and maybe the results of the bounty will lead to trading. What is your opinion? share your experience here

I would prefer the both because with the right strategy you can gain from both worlds. Bounty gives you a great way to get coins while trading makes you stock up on the coins
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will cryptocurrency be a key financial sector in the future? on: October 17, 2018, 02:51:39 AM
You think positively and that will contribute to changing the world. Cryptocurrency has provided people with financial satisfaction and where payment is a core issue. Cryptocurrency and blockchain are now being Enterprises apply to help their work be promoted more vigorously

I believe that cryptocurrency will change the world as it keeps evolving . The issue that cryptocurrency is solving is removing the barrier of doing business all over the globe plus issues like inflation and deflation are not an issue in cryptocurrency
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quality ICO's Are Becoming Hard To Find... on: October 17, 2018, 02:49:33 AM
It's becoming harder for ICO's to make money. Projects with no real value & lackluster ideas are being thrown to the wolves in this market. However, this is a good thing. This allows quality projects to receive more capital from investments. Eventually, these garbage "get rich quick" styled projects will cease to exist. We will be left with the main coins in crypto (Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, ect) & quality projects that have a utilitarian use.

Last year was the year of riches for early adopters. I watched my crypto portfolio jump 1000% within a few months. You could buy garbage ICO's and make a small fortune due to FOMO. Eventually, this structure of investments imploded, which then leads us to where we are today. The reason I am bringing all of this up, is because projects that don't serve real purposes aren't being invested in. No one wants to buy an investment that people won't ever want to use. The reason companies like Rolex can charge $30,000 a watch, is due to brand recognition & consumers willing to pay hefty prices for their watches. The watches don't require endless amounts of craftsmanship, nor do they require expensive raw materials.

The final piece of the puzzle points to quality projects emerging from this sector. Eventually the funds will bleed dry and only quality projects like Omnity will exist. There has to be a real purpose behind an ICO's "project". If the project exists just to exist, then it's a pointless project that won't make an investor any money. I look for projects in this market that have utility in the real world. Something that I could see people using to better their lives. Projects like Omnity, Nauticus, Binance ect. These projects exist to serve consumers. Projects that exist as cash grabs won't go anywhere in a bear market.

Projects mentioned:

You are sure right. This is a good thing for the crypto market as it shows that ICOs are indeed maturing. The days of get rich quick and investing in garbage ideas are over. People want to invest in a project that has a serious use case and can solve problems
