41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CPU mining] Yenten v1.2.1 [YTN] [YescryptR16] [Exchange avilable] on: December 20, 2017, 04:46:59 AM
Look guys, this is all very simple, I will explain one more time:
- Conan Equal Newone has created this coin. He is as mysterious as Satoshi Nakamoto. Or maybe.....he IS Satoshi Nakomoto?
- This coin is NOT repeat NOT for kids <21 and girls. If they want to mine or own YTN, they have to do it secretly!
- We have no marketing or flashy websites that costs tons of money. YOUR money.
- Rich people can not hijack this coin with fancy equipment. This is a coin for us, the people.
- Want to mine with GPU? Nice try buddy, GPU is SLOWER! Boom!
- The scrypt is new just like bitcoin scrypt was new in the beginning.
- The roadmap is pretty clear; mining mining mining and then: LAMBO & Food!
- No premine
- No ICO
- ASIC resistance
- No inflation
- No staking
- A maximum limited supply can be mined only.

This is crypto old school. The way Satoshi envisioned how a coin should be. His plan was perfect, but bitcoin was hijacked by the rich. Satoshi's goal was to topple the rich! There is a flaw in bitcoin. Satoshi must have recognized that.

Many here believe that bitcoin is no longer fun and no longer for the people. It has been cornered by big money companies and rich people. Hell, we even have bitcoin futures now  Sad
Yenten is Satoshi's revenge.. Maybe even Satoshi himself who found the scrypt that can not be exploited by the one with the most money already to buy the best mining equipment. If you have a decent computer, and mine in a pool, you will ALWAYS get some Yenten.

I don't necessarily agree with most of what you say, but I will agree that the lack of pre-mine is a differentiatior from a lot of other major CPU coins right now.  But the sexist attitude of the coin is going to SIGNIFICANTLY HURT mainstream adoption.  How do you see this coin ever getting positive news coverage?  Anyone here who actually wants to make money long term needs to encourage the dev to adopt a more neutral marketing posture.

I have nothing against joking around, but if you actually want to be the next bitcoin, it needs to be neutral.

Hello friends

I read on one japanese crypto forum that the phrase "girls, kids get out now" is an homage to signs posted on the doors of a popular japanese quickie marts in the 80s and 90s. I believe this is a phrase that many 30+ people from japan may recognizes and might cause nostalgia. I'm not sure if this is correct, but someone from japan could chime in??
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [KMC] Kripto Marka Coin on: December 19, 2017, 11:08:18 PM
There's really no reason for anyone to value this coin highly until the ability to implement masternodes is proven.  So until then, those of us who mine/invest do so very speculatively, at extremely high risk but hoping for a good payout if the risk pays off and dev successfully does something new and unique by making a cryptonote masternode.

I believe this coin has potential even if masternodes are never implemented. I am currently mining KMC and I am very happy to have all these coins.

However, I am not entirely confident that the developers are committed to this coin for the long run. I would LOVE to know more about the team, or at least have an idea of the size of the team and what everyone is working on.

Can someone tell me why is this coin special and why is it needed in the crypto world???

I know, right? you can’t even buy a coffee with BTC. what gives?

high difficulty and low difficulty Which one is better?

Low diff is better for mining. It's incredible that price is rising but net hash has settled down a little. What a dream for those of us mining on our own CPUs and it's probably driving big miners crazy because they cannot mine it cheaply.

Where does the japanese community meet and talk btw?

this is the best japanese discussion that i have found: https://fate.5ch.net/test/read.cgi/cryptocoin/1509219649/?v=pc

But it’s a lot of talk about whether or not it is a chinese scam, and which pool to use etc.

I say that unless MU9 is a kid or girl then let’s keep this party going. I’m still mining.

I have a feeling that once this thing reaches new heights in 2018 we’ll have so many bad actors and malicious folks running around here that MU9 will look like a saint.

I’m not looking for perfect distribution, but i am looking for a coin that makes a laughing stock of GPU and ASIC farms. If it makes this guy a trillionaire in the process then so be it. this is crypto.

Yeah I understand the concern. It's alarming that we can see some effort in concealing it.

But he was mining since the first or second day and picking up coins for something like half a penny, and the hashrate must have cost him at least $12,000-$20,000 of investment so far. Plus, we've got new "mega miners" from china using the miso pool who are pulling in 8k coins per day, and they are the ones who are arriving late to the party.

I have an amount of YTN that I am content with, but every day the supply grows I own less compared to the total supply. I suppose that if people lose interest in this coin because of this imbalance then prices will remain low and in 9 months he will only own 6.3% of the supply, assuming he doesn't continue to mine. And maybe 6.3% is an imbalance that will be perceived as tolerable. But I have a feeling it won't take that long, and we'll see a steady and slow increase in price and hashrate from here on out.

Bat file example?

This is mine for minerd on miso pool where -t is the number of cpu threads:

minerd.exe -t 4 -a yescryptr16 -o stratum+tcp://stratum.misosi.ru:16011 -u <youruser.yourworker> -p x,c=YTN

and for cpuminer-opt, which I think automatically detects your cpu threads:

cpuminer -a yescryptr16 -o stratum+tcp://stratum.misosi.ru:16011 -u <youruser.yourworker> -p x,c=YTN

solo mining with minerd:

minerd.exe -t 4 -a yescryptr16 -o localhost:9982 -u username -p password --coinbase-addr=<yourYTNwalletaddress>

I've noticed something really funny. If you look in coinsmarket someone is trying to drop the price drastically while someone else is trying to keep it there. Lol.. If you see the numbers it's really funny!! Newbies are playing..    Cheesy Cheesy

you're right. The order pricing and frequency of placement has become more strategic over the last few days. One seller seems to be setting up big single orders but there's another seller who is setting up random orders to entice buyers.

Its not FUD, it is basically fraud that I am exposing, mega miner hides himself from the richlist and takes extrordinary steps to hide how much yenten he really has while likely buying up all the supply he can.  I'm stillmining but I won't be holding yenten during a pump and dump like I believe we are in.  Since hashrate is rising I think he will probably try to pull this off sooner rather then later while he still controls the majority of yenten.

It's fraud to hold a coin and mine it and buy it at the same time according to newbies  Grin Hilarious. Take your pills Mr chill. I'd like to see you involved in this coin without the obvious novice hysterics.

I've been involved in this coin from the very beginning, I was mining it within the first day it was released and created a profile solely to interact here on this thread.  I believe in cpu only coins and this is the very best at the moment and I see myself mining this until I release my own coin however long that may take.

What you all have to understand is that this is the wild west.  If this sort of thing had been going on in stocks it would be illegal.  I'm glad its not illegal but with great power comes great responsibility so we need us little guys to expose the antics of the big guys so we don't suffer for it.

People asked why would a pump and dump matter?  For the hardcore early adopters we would stick around but do we really want to look bad to our friends and more skeptical people if they buy at 10,000 satoshi and loose it all when a big player that we didn't even know existed dumps?  It is a morale killer and I am trying to protect us from that.

Slow and steady gains is what we want we don't need the flashiness of a meteoric rise and then a dump that kills all interest in the coin.

I think part of your argument relies on the idea that miners have figured out how to mine it cheaply. People are greedy, and if one person cracked the algo then hashrate would be 8 mh/s by now. Instead, I really believe these big miners are putting at least 250-450 sat of mining costs into obtaining each coin, which means there is simply a huge amount of investment entering the network right now.

If a single person is hoarding coins in multiple wallets... either they dump or they hold. If they dump then cheaper coins for everyone and lower diff, but if they hold until price increases then they are essentially removing that supply from the market for a period of time and so they deserve the profits that they could realize down the road.

As for the volatility, I think you are correct. People could lose lots of money if they are buying at 6,000 sat and it crashed back to 600 sat. But that’s more of an argument for why new adopters should mine, mine, and mine instead of buying on markets, and frankly I’d prefer to see an increase in individual miners over an increase in price.

Do we all want to agree on a community signature or use our own? I’m going to make my own version today and I’ll post the code in case anyone wants it too.

Hey friends:

1. Someone pump and dump Yenten? That would result in more fairly distributed coins at a cheaper rate.

2. If you are mining and holding Yenten, then you are 100% safe from any schemes. If you are mining and holding Yenten then who cares what the markets say. Just keep mining as the drama unfolds.

3. Remember the fundamentals: there are 36,000 coins being distributed per day. No more and no less.

4. This is what it feels like to be a part of something important and valuable: we are afraid that a bad actor is attacking the network and ruining this noble, good thing that we believe in, but guess what: Yenten will still be standing after the dust settles, Yenten doesn’t fear your pumps and dumps, and hostile takeover attemps will only result in publicity of Yenten.

What is the current difficulty and is it still worth it to mine?

Folks: the price of this coin is up 600% but the net hash is only up 300%.

Keep mining.

The big players can’t figure out how to mine it cheaply and so they are entering cautiously, to our benefit.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CPU mining] Yenten v1.2.1 [YTN] [YescryptR16] [Exchange avilable] on: December 16, 2017, 06:04:40 AM
I have a newbie question:
Can someone make a detailed post about how you can buy Yenten?
Like, I'm interested in where to set up an account to send money and purchase cryptocurrencies, and also trade Yenten when it becomes more valuable.
This coin is my first time mining, I've traded stocks before, but I want to know if there's an easy way to trade coins the same way.
I read an earlier post mentioning some exchange was charging $30 USD to trade coins, which is a little high for me.

Any advice or help would be appreciated.

I think it would be best to go to coinsmarkets and deposit litecoin. Go to the exchange channel in yenten discord and i’ll walk you through it.

Ignore the trollbox on that site.

Hi everyone, i'm suing ytn.misosi.ru pool, what's better here divide each PC on "workers" or just create one worker and run miner on all PCs with it? Does it make a difference?
sry for my bad eng. (:

I don't think it matters. I have done many miners on one worker without issues.

Hello everyone, can you tell me pls which pool is better for now?
I have hashrate between 2.5 - 3.5  KH/s and currently mining with ytn.misosi.ru , is there any way to improve profitability?

Miso is best I think. Some people have achieved small improvements in hashrate by disabling one or two threads.

Difficulty and price will rise and fall so just setup your miner and let it run.

New Beta Test Pool Available at mining.ddclub.dynu.com

now with a few blocks payed out i can confirm the pool is working correctly
pool fees 0% feel free to join

new pool! Good luck new pool. We have a pool channel on the discord that you can update folks with the status. Virtually every other pool has gone at least once due to database issues, dos attacks, or outright hacks, and communication has been important to keep users in the loop.

Because yenten is going up and i want to mine more, what would be a decent cpu to mine. Now i use laptop and intel nuc but i dont get many coins.

Yeah there was a time when laptops could only mine, like, 1 bitcoin per day. What’s the point?

Guys, this rich list is really important to me. I’ve been doing crypto only snce July, but I’ve come to realize how important fair distribution is to the health of a coin. Most asic-resistant algos are still mined by huge GPU players, but this coin is special in that even single CPU owner can mine and increase the difficulty for large players.

Wallet MU9 is paul the aws guy, who mined with 100 kh/s for the first week. It’s a large % of total supply, but net hash has increased so much since the first week that it is bery difficult for any other single person to hoarde that much. And every day the richest YTN owners will have less of a % of supply. It’s really encouraging. YescriyptR16 is reallt, really asic resistant.

It is still so early for this coin. Every day, 36,000 coins are distributed to individual miners all over the world. There are no asics or GPU farms.

Proceed touch 0.00000600 BTC👍

Its going fast. i hope for a dip .... :-)

Yeah I'm sure it will dip but people would need to stop buying buying buying. I also think the price will start to stall unless the network hash goes well over 1 kh/s.

But YTN is already at $7,000 for its 24 hour trading volume so it's getting onto coinmarketcap really soon, and that could continue this rally.

is it still cool if everyone’s mining it?
