41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.4 Released MANDATORY UPDATE on: January 20, 2014, 11:27:49 PM
I prefer Dogehouse. They have around 18% of the network and have always been perfect for me. Good payouts and never had an issue with downtime.

Is there a way or have you compared the two?  Multi-pool went down this morning on me when everyone started to hyperventilating about the price and it was a pain to get back in.  But I am wondering if Doghouse, or another lets say, gives out more rewards.

not cool ... moon is taking hashpower from doge .. at multipool and middlecoin ....

mooncoin is literally a joke

Who gives out the most block rewards for DOGE mining pools?  Is Multipool the best because it is the biggest?  Does another one pay out more than Multipool?

Thank you buddy.  That worked!
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How Do I Set UP A Backup Pool on CGMiner? on: January 20, 2014, 04:39:58 PM
Put all of your command line arguments towards the beginning with the pool at the end.  The just put a space and start your next pool another -o set of parameters.  Add as many pools and/or servers as you want.

Hello:  I tried this, but I did it wrong.  What do I need to correct?

cgminer-3.1.1-windows\cgminer.exe --scrypt -I 20,20,20,20 -o -u xxx.1 -p x --thread-concurrency 22400 --gpu-threads 1 --worksize 256 --lookup-gap 2 --gpu-engine 905,905,905,905 --gpu-memclock 1250,1250,1250,1250 --auto-fan --config C:\xxx\x\x\cgminer-3.1.1-windows\cgminer.conf stratum+tcp://us-west.multipool.us:3352 -o stratum+tcp://us-east.multipool.us:3352 -u xx.1 -p x --thread-concurrency 22400 --gpu-threads 1 --worksize 256 --lookup-gap 2 --gpu-engine 905,905,905,905 --gpu-memclock 1250,1250,1250,1250 --auto-fan --config C:\x\x\x\cgminer-3.1.1-windows\cgminer.conf
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / How Do I Set UP A Backup Pool on CGMiner? on: January 20, 2014, 03:26:14 PM
Hi: I had a problem with a pool today.  How can I set up CGMIner to switch to another pool in case the first pool goes down?  My current .bat is like this:

cgminer.exe --scrypt -I 20,20,20,20 -o stratum+tcp://us-west.multipool.us:3352 -u XXX.1 -p XX --thread-concurrency 22400 --gpu-threads 1 --worksize 256 --lookup-gap 2 --gpu-engine 905,905,905,905 --gpu-memclock 1250,1250,1250,1250 --auto-fan --config C:\XXX\xxx\xxx\cgminer-3.1.1-windows\cgminer.conf

Thanks for any replies.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Avoiding Cryptsy Problems on: January 20, 2014, 02:02:02 PM
1) Use Firefox. Chrome does not like Cryptsy very much.

2) If you place an order or cancel an order, click just ONCE and let Cryptsy process it through. Do not click back and forth. This will only back their system up and may put you coins in "limbo." 3) If you have coins that have not shown up (limbo) via a deposit, trade, or a cancelled order, submit a support ticket and then go to the IRC channel and contact support with the ticket number.

4) If you make a withdrawal and Cryptsy says "processing", let it sit for at least an hour or two before you submit a ticket.

5) When contacting Cryptsy support via IRC, be polite. They do get a lot of requests and being rude or typing in caps will not help the matter.

6) When you enter the IRC channel, look on the right side of the screen for the list of names. The ones with "@" are support and they are on top. If they are not there, you can post the question on the board and sometimes a user will help you out or offer advice.

7) If all else fails, you can go to Twitter and contact BigVern the owner. Make sure you post your ticket support number and your issue. If he is free he will send you a message that he will look into your problem.

If this post/guide has helped you in some way, I would appreciate if you could tell the Cryptsy Dashboard that I referred you. My trade key is: 71b52d9e7ab3e985c4aafa5e799f2d8b2be2c220

50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Where do Bitcoin Hackers Meet/Hangout? on: January 20, 2014, 07:10:23 AM
I was reading the story about the Yahoo trojan that made computers in Europe mine for a hacker.  Question:  Where do these hackers "hang out"?  Is there some dark web website that I haven't heard about where they congregate and discuss ways to "hack bitcoin"?  I would love to see the program that is mentioned in the article.  Anyone out there have any suggestions?

tried it long month's ago with aido...but it only worked on testmode.....don't think that anyone who's able to compile a sucessful working bot will share it with other's Wink

Killa

I see.  So no one sells them out there?  All the bots I see running are people who created their own?  This is where they come from?  Thanks for your opinion.

Can anyone suggest a trading bit for BTC-E?  I would like to use one for arbitrage purposes between the currencies.

58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Is there a Coin that can be mined & traded for BTC or LTC but w/less difficulty? on: August 03, 2013, 01:53:08 AM
I know its a a crazy question and I'm sure I am not the first to think of this.  Is there a website out there that people share their strategies for mining and making profit?  Like can ABC coin be mined faster than BTC or LTC and be traded for to gain more profit instead of ming BTC or LTC on Cryptsy or some other site?  Or is it all tied in togther?  If BTC or LTC difficulty goes up, do the other coins also go up?  Thanks ahead for any opinions.

Sorry for posting this, I just read on this forum someone with 3  7950's shows 1080 with a kil-a-watt meter, maybe I'll through my 7870 in with them and run 2 smaller psu's.

You should check out FSP Aurum Gold 1200W. My runs 4 x 7950 Vapor-x and it is doing great. It has single rail of 100A 8 x 8pin pcie cables and it is pretty quiet.

Thanks for the suggestion.  I decided to go ahead with the Rosewill model.
