41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if cryptocurrency on: July 13, 2020, 12:52:08 PM

I would love to call 2016, 2017 and even the early days of 2018, "the years of Lambo", because during these years, cryptocurrency investors became so rich that buying Lamborghini was a normal thing.

During those years, you could invest 500 dollars and cash out thousands of dollars in just a month, so what went wrong?

The truth is nothing really went wrong, reality only set in, and cryptocurrency has evolved into its next stage. You may not be able to cash out as big as those days, but one thing is for sure, cryptocurrency has progressed.

I don't know if those days would ever come back, but I know there's going to be better days.

42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it risky to invest in new crytpo coin/tokens??? on: July 11, 2020, 11:26:32 AM
Every investment is a risk, whether cryptocurrency, forex, or real estate, you are taking a risk. However, some risks are more riskier than others. Trading cryptocurrency is a risk because of it's volatility.

However, some coins are more volatile especially the new tokens spurting out daily. So if you want to take calculated risks, invest in cryptocurrencies that are tested and trusted.

If you invest in the wrong currency (especially newbies), you are bound to lose money. So to answer your question directly, it is actually risky to invest in new tokens, but at the same time, avoiding new tokens completely will make you lose a good token with potential.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Keep your loss at an acceptable level on: July 10, 2020, 08:12:15 PM
Who says other factors cannot contribute to a bad trade, if you have traded for a long time, you will realize that trading is not entirely in your hands, so identifying those factors and calling a spade what it is isn't a bad idea.

Shifting blame is a characteristic common to many people. I don't think it is really a bad thing, to some it's a way of not feeling too down and depressed.

What works for you may not work for others, so if shifting blame to other factors works, let them continue. Not transferring blame after a trade is a characteristic exclusive to robots.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto success takes time on: July 10, 2020, 07:18:10 PM
Anxiety and greed have made many investors sell their coins prematurely only for the same coin to rise in value eventually. Bitcoin, Dash and Ethereum are good examples, nevertheless, patience for the wrong coin is a complete waste of time.

Coins like Dash and Bitcoin gained back momentum after a period because they have prospects, but coins without prospects no matter how much time you give them, they would never have value.

We can't completely ignore the fact that some projects need time, however, for scam projects and projects without plan or a proficient team, nothing good can come out even if you give it a million years
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is safer, USDT or Binance USD? on: July 08, 2020, 10:02:01 AM
Somehow, I really do not see any problem with both as they're very safe. While Tether is on most exchanges, BUSD is for Human e exchange. We all know that Binance is the biggest exchange and the most reputable. So if you're trading on Binance, you might as well as e some BUSD there.

You could also do some 70 - 30%  on both ways so you still get the addition 1% interest. It's all about trading and making good gains.

The coins - BUSD and Tether have a good value and doesn't fall.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New investors are too impatience on: July 07, 2020, 02:56:30 PM
You are right, it is very common to see newbie investors hoping to cash in within a couple of weeks, I would attribute this to lack of education, that's why when I meet a newbie, I always encourage them to learn, and get sufficient knowledge before they make any decision.

The crypto market is no longer what it used to be these days people barely make millions from crypto investment ( i am not saying it is not possible, but it is difficult).

And one more thing, newbie investors should  not take crypto investment as their sole source of income at least until they find their feet.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbies are safer with top altcoins on: July 07, 2020, 01:38:03 PM
I can't agree more, you have rightly pointed out the need for newbies to stick to already popular alt coins with verified history of reliability.

There are countless of alt coins out there, many are fraud, and some are managed by incompetent team. so for newbies who are hoping to climb the trading ladder, it would be a disaster investing in the wrong cryptocurrency.

With this pandemic, things have gotten worse when it comes to picking alt coins, even for pro traders, however, emphasis is placed on newbies because they need to be safe from fake coins, so they wouldn't suffer huge loss.
48  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Overcome and Handle Your Mistakes in Trading? on: July 07, 2020, 08:06:37 AM

I disagree with your first point because in trading, if you make a mistake and loss, making that same mistake again might be exactly what you need to scale. It all comes down to you following your guts. The only mistake you can make as a trader is to trade with little information about what trading entails.

This brings us to your third point, a trader without trading education will give up trading eventually after losing continually. So, for every newbie, or amateur; the first step should be to get proper trading education, take calculated risks, and then follow your guts.
49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My friend passed away and he have Bitcoin in his wallet on: July 07, 2020, 07:29:09 AM
Sorry about your loss, you guys must be very close judging by the way you are committed to helping his family recover his coin. I also admire your honesty and transparency because you have an open opportunity to possess the coin since his parents are old school.

My advice for you is, be very certain that there is actually Bitcoin left in his wallet, and if there is, be sure of its value, so that you will not unnecessarily put his parent's hopes up. I hope you are able to follow this all the way through, and I wish I can find a
honest friends like you.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Movie about SATOSHI Nakamoto on: July 04, 2020, 07:07:22 PM
It is about time, Mr. SATOSHI Nakamoto deserves this, Bitcoin is not just a product, it is a revolution to the entire financial world.

I am a movie lover and a cryptocurrency enthusiast, so a movie about Mr. SATOSHI Nakamoto is a welcome development. To everyone who owns cryptocurrency whether Bitcoin or alt coin,   this movie is for you.

The movie has a lot of story to tell and hopefully in the hands of a great screenwriter, it would have amazing twists and turns. The mystery behind who Mr. SATOSHI Nakamoto is could be another aspect of the movie that needs to be explored. Hopefully, he reveals himself soonest.

52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ethereum investment for future ?? on: July 03, 2020, 11:52:12 AM
Ethereum has consistently shown glimpses of being one of the cryptocurrencies that would still maintain its relevance 30 to 50 years from now, first its real life use case is still in demand till date. Over the past few years there have been other projects proposing different alternatives to Ethereum style Smart Contract creation platforms yet Ethereum managed to stay relevant, this is obvious evidence that it is not going anywhere soon.

Now back to your question, nobody can certainly say if Ethereum can continue to maintain its relevance. When it comes to cryptocurrency nobody can predict the future. Lots of new crypto projects are coming on Ethereum Blockchain and the number will continue to increase. It's still second to bitcoins and will remain so for a long time to come.
53  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why people run away from trading!!! on: July 02, 2020, 10:21:22 AM

For those who have never traded and also newbies who just started trading, trading would seem like a very technical task. But when they finally learn how to trade, they will discover that all that was missing was knowledge. Back to your post, I agree with you totally, lack of proper trading education is a big factor why people dump trading. Once they try, without the right knowledge everything would seem too technical and complicated, they just give up too soon.

I also agree "no risk management" is also an issue but not just for newbies but for every trader. After a huge loss due to bad risk, even pro traders get tempted to abandon trading. Running away from trading is almost same as running away from investing.  My experience with Injective Protocol has been good.
54  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade by yourself on: June 30, 2020, 10:01:37 AM
I totally agree with you, newbies should not rely on signals otherwise they might never learn to trade.

Learning to trade is the best gift you can give to yourself. However, before you learn, you have to first take risks, and learn persistence.

Along the way, you are going to win and lose. If you can survive the heartbreaks, then you have a chance of becoming a pro trader. But if you completely choose to rely on signals, you may never become pro. Trading by yourself may be a very difficult road but it is also a rewarding path.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why lots of people got scam easily on: June 29, 2020, 03:10:50 PM

Your points are not valid for every trader because greed, lack of knowledge and trust are not a problem for a expert or pro trader, only newbie are vulnerable to these factors.

All your points are correct but they can but we can't really blame a newbie.

First, the crypto market is filled with scam, that is why we cannot really blame an investor for falling victim. As we are looking for ways to avoid being scammed, scammers are looking for newer methods of scamming. One essential step every one should take is , don't give in to hype and juicy advertisements.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Emotion management is one of the key to successful trading. on: June 29, 2020, 03:04:53 PM

It is a good thing that you have pointed out the damages trading with emotions can do to traders. But no human can completely eliminate emotions except if you are a god. Experienced and Pro traders still battle with their emotions from time to time. The best you can do is to minimize the way your emotions influence your decisions.

Finally, it is important  traders know that trading is not magic, don't expect to invest and start yielding profit in a couple of minutes, revenge trading is also dangerous. If you lose money, don't be too quick to recover. Make sure you are trading because you want to, not because you lose.
57  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 7 Things have to do to become a Good Crypto Trader on: June 28, 2020, 10:02:17 AM

These seven points are just suggestions, they are not guiding principles. Just like i will always state, "there is no rule guiding crypto trade". All you need to do is learn how to trade and follow your guts. However, let us not discard the points your seven points.

My favorite among your points is the third, revenge trading isn't a smart move because, trying to revenge after  a loss is tricky, at that point, your decisions would be clouded by emotions.

It might be a smart move not to go with full amount because it minimizes your loss, but it also minimizes your profit.
58  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie should trade or not? Please give me idea. on: June 24, 2020, 01:04:17 PM
One way to earn money from cryptocurrency is by trading, it requires commitment, accuracy and attention to details. Once you have the above characteristics, there's nothing stopping you except of course the technical aspect of trading which by the way only involves you knowing what to and what not to do.

As a newbie you have to take things a step at a time. You shouldn't just jump into making complex trades, you can start with the basics. Also remember that you are still learning so don't invest too much money, don't be too keen on the profit, rather be more focused on learning than earning.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Enough of repetitive projects and old ideas on: June 23, 2020, 09:17:31 PM
Your point is valid, since 2009 there are a few new innovative crypto projects. Many altcoins  just use smart contracts then clone existing projects. Scammers are notorious for doing this. They are not interested in innovation,or creating a new project, all they want to do is extort investors. After cloning an already existing product, they rebrand sometimes the plagiarize from the original whitepaper.

Once you can spot a recycled project, you are one step closer to avoiding scam. This is more reason why you need to thoroughly research a project before you invest. Lots of  investors that do not carry out due diligence usually fall for this scam - repetitive and rehashed projects. As matter of fact, some teams are fully involved in this and on their website, you'll find questionable and funny characters as team leaders including copied Whitepapers.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Making Cov-19 as excuses on: June 23, 2020, 06:56:38 PM
Admittedly, Covid-19 has been used numerous times as an excuse by failed projects for not launching.  It is expected that a good team with a great plan should be able to navigate through the pandemic and produce results.

Nevertheless we cannot brand every project that delays it's launch as scam, some did it with good reasons. We certainly are not going to get the same cooperation from investors during this Corona era.

Delaying launch during this pandemic might just be precisely what some projects need, it doesn't mean they have a weak team, they are probably waiting for the right time. Well, is there really anything like the right time.
