Yup eligius is best pool by far. Bitcoin XT? What is that?
No we will not have two version of coins/chains, at least not until first >1MB block is found and supermajority is not achieved.
Keep up the good work wiz!
44  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin Debit Cards! [Updated] on: August 18, 2015, 02:28:30 PM
Nice thread kudos to OP. I have several cards that I use on daily basis. First I made card at ANX and it was great when price was little higher than now. They have $100 minimum deposit limit or at least they had when I used it last time. After that I found e-coin.io and it was pleasant surprise for me. Very nice UI, fast response to deposit and loading the card with funds, all your deposits and payments well organized and clean. Also I had a couple of emails with support they were helpful and understanding. Last one I made was from wagecan and did not have a chance to use it, but as far as I know they also use transforex hk bank for their operations so it is almost the same as ANX card.

You should add ANX and Wagecan to your list, also I saw CCEDK has its own card. I do not know exact differences between them.

Yup those deltas wont work on the controler, but you can connect them directly to the PSU and have them working 100% rpm which is what you want at the end. And that way if pool goes down or internet goes down your device wont be fried...

I also swapped PSU from S2 because when I measured consumption from wall it was not plesent to see. Sure device worked for a while but when I put 1200W PSU problems with the device disapeared.

48  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S4+ Discussion and Support Thread on: August 05, 2015, 06:58:49 PM
Yup you are right I totally dismissed first link on zendesk, they are the same. Well I tried to help you out you are a fellow miner Smiley
As for my image I know for sure that it was made with first version of firmware which you would have from first batches of the device.
Definitely weird behavior on your device...

50  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S4+ Discussion and Support Thread on: August 05, 2015, 03:27:05 PM
No that is not from bitmain zendesk... that is image that I made personally, also if you look you will see that my image has .img extension where as on zendesk is .imgc

Do you have .img with older firmware to burn on to microsd? If not I will provide with the link...

I've tried the April 2nd images here: https://bitmain.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/205145945-S4-Firmware

But they've been updated to July 15th firmware. The link descriptions are wrong, unfortunately. If you (or anyone) have a copy of the actual April 2nd image, I'd greatly appreciate it!!

I see...

Here is complete .img file that you will need to burn directly to microSD

It is based on 04022015 firmware...

54  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New Antminer S5 Not Hashing and showing Temp of Zero on: July 31, 2015, 03:06:59 PM
Try with several version of firmwares starting from newest to oldest who knows which version suits the best in your case.

Registered, will throw some miners to test out. Keep up the good work!
56  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New Antminer S5 Not Hashing and showing Temp of Zero on: July 29, 2015, 05:12:33 PM
Well you did what you know it will work by the numbers but not all S5 are the same, you have various revisions of hashing boards and control boards and they do not behave the same. When I test problematic device I use Enermax Platimax 1000W just to be sure that PSU is not the culprit. I had situations where hashing pcb was damaged in some way probably because of too weak PSU and when I tried on Platimax everything worked well.
57  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Cleaned Antminer S3+ thermal paste, now -------? on: July 28, 2015, 09:38:14 PM
I spoke to Bitmain support and ordered a new Hash PCB for my S3+. Bought with Bitcoin and it came within a week (to the UK). They are really helpful and answer all your questions. Glad that it came today and installed it successfully - It's running fine now. They sent one of the newest hash boards out (V1.4 - not sure if it's the latest, but I think it is).

I am glad that your device is hashing full speed now  Wink

Try with stronger single rail PSU and then report results.
59  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer S5 20150715 firmware update issues on: July 26, 2015, 08:41:59 AM
That is a fan controller, you have 5 channels to connect fans and you can then control each one of them individually.
