41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is never going to be extinct on: October 18, 2019, 12:44:25 PM
Do not put your faith in anything, If you have a portfolio diversify it. Nobody knows how long P2P, Banks, Crypto will last.

Imagine the people who sold their houses and bought BTC. I think it is better to have a place where to live than invest all of your fortune to one thing.
42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 10 Years From Now: Bitcoin Overtaking PayPal? on: October 18, 2019, 12:37:51 PM
Its hard to belive so. Paypal is used Worldwide and has huge influence across the globe.

However I believe that in the near future some other company will overtake PayPal, as there are a lot of good payment platforms with smaller fees, better support, etc.

46  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New scam technique on Telegram. on: October 18, 2019, 12:28:37 PM
I don't know if you noticed this kind of scam previously but I noticed it first time. So wondered to share with community.

Please take a look on below picture.

Discovered it from PundiX group. You may noticed that scammer using user name on Bio and he doesn't use any username. This is really confusing matter. If you are not familiar with this kind of scam then you might fall into this trap. Scammer might ask your personal details, private keys or may offer any bonuses. So be careful if you receive any greedy offer on telegram. Please match username with main group and verify it.

Most of newbies wouldn't think much and probably they might fall. So please share it with your friends.

Damn dude, thanks!!
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Popularity of BITCOIN on Twitter Declining? on: October 18, 2019, 12:24:19 PM
I think a huge reason for the decrease of popularity, is that Twitter deleted a lot of spam account, which obviously was used in bounties, and, etc.

In general, I think that it is a good thing because there are a less spam and more higher quality posts.

People who believe in Crypto is still out there, Bob

48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra Just Got Its First Major Supporter in Congress on: October 18, 2019, 12:18:04 PM
Centralized coin will be supported by crooks in fancy suits/clothing.
Libra wont help the crypto-industry, it only promotes centralized coins and encourages banks to do the same.

That is a good point, but don't you think that in order to make Bitcoin global we need some centralized coins??

I am not defending Libra, and I am not encouraging its usage. I just think if more companies show trust in bitcoin it will have more influence in general.
49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever been stolen or lost your BTC? on: October 18, 2019, 08:45:46 AM
I bought BTC in 2015 for $200, I was hyped when it started booming back in 2017 and I kept it until 2018.

AND then one day I log in to my blockchain.info account and it is GONE... Till this day I can not figure out how they vanished, I had email 2FA maybe my mail was breached as well... I changed passwords and everything.

The feeling is hard, but you cope with it and move on.

50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes you invest in an ICO on: November 07, 2017, 03:02:24 PM
Hi ma dude,

Everyone's posting the same stuff i would like to post (team, wp etc.) but i won't. I will try to boil down my thoughts when investing in ICOs:

Basically, after putting check marks on all of the above research it all comes down to the idea. When you think about their ideas, does it take you more then a couple of minutes to comprehend their idea, and if it doesn't, is the idea GOOD? If you need to think more than 5 minutes about their basic vision/idea then it's either a very complicated idea that is going to be extremely hard to fulfil OR it is a scam. If you understand the idea, think if it is realistic/good in your mindset. For example: can their token be used as utility for something else(a good example is BitDegree utility token)? A token will have a MUCH higher chance of succeeding if it is going to be a utility and not a security.

I could go on and on feel free to message me if you are interested in having a chat about ICO's.

Good luck ma man.

52  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it safe to use new and upcoming coins? on: September 29, 2017, 03:08:52 PM
Some coins are good, some are bad. There are lots and lots of horrifyingly bad cryptocurrencies out there, and currently multiplying; but at the same time there are very good ones also. You just have to read a lot about those certain cryptocurrencies to know if a certain cryptocurrency actually safe and worth something or not and is not a scam or a cashgrab.

Right. Doing deep research/analysis is part of the "job" i guess. It would be awesome if someone could share their past history about how they got scammed or something to watch out for in more detail.

Thank you for your post tho, good luck Smiley
53  Other / Beginners & Help / Is it safe to use new and upcoming coins? on: September 29, 2017, 02:44:28 PM
Hi everyone,

I just had a question is it relatively safe (if your not a dummy) to use different coins apart from BTN or ETH? Do you have any history or maybe articles about past history of bad activity?

Thank you, Bob
54  Other / Politics & Society / ICOs actually changing education? on: September 29, 2017, 12:31:40 PM
Hi there,

My name is Bob and i wanted to share my two cents on the educational topic which i think really needs more attention.

In my opinion, educational system today is garbage. At the present time educational systems are extremely behind with todays trends and technologies. "wow you got some tablets for a class" this is not keeping up with technologies. These are dark times for young people.

What i also notice is that the students are evolving themselves. Smarter kids know that in order to keep up with stuff these days you can't fully rely on your school/university, you have to put your own time into it. That is why we see more and more first year students who have already built their portfolios - created an app, website or just already work in an IT company. This is very satisfying to hear that there is a light at the end of this dark, medieval age, educational system of ours.

Lastly i would like to grab your attention and invite you to the blockchain ICOs bus. I don't know how much everyone is familiar with blockchains and ICOs. But there is big perspective for us to revolutionise the educational system in the NEAR future and let each and every person in the world have a chance at having a good quality livelihood in their future life.

I have noticed that the now popular way of getting a project out using ICOs has caught the attention of companies whom are interested in changing the educational system. Most of them are using a concept of online educational companies which isn't really revolutionising anything. BUT finally i am very happy to write this because, i repeat, FINALLY some smart heads decided to actually revolutionise the broken, good for nothing, educational system we have today.

Shout out to all the people that are working with educational ICO's!

What are your thoughts on this? DM me what you think i would be happy to have a conversation about this.

Good luck, Bob

59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] JOKES Crowdsale Open Now on: September 28, 2017, 08:31:16 AM
This is a prime example of either a scam or a very poorly made project.

First line in the white paper "This so called white paper is short because to many words are unnecessarily.". Are you serious?

Please get this off my screen.

60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] MONETHA - Decentralised reputation with built-in payments on: September 28, 2017, 08:11:51 AM
everybody wants to be rich in a few weeks.
just give it some time.what is the rush.
whenever a coin goes under the ico price people label it as scam.
look how many coins started gaining value after a few months.
for ex monaco was 1/4 of its ico price(85 cents even lower).
and at one point it hit nearly 30 usd.
so if you did your research and trust your coin then the only thing you need left is patience.

Patience is virtue Smiley
