41  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you know when to sell? on: July 12, 2021, 07:51:01 PM
Personally, I trade for my own purposes.
First, I determine how much profit I want to get from each specific coin, then, when the goal is achieved, I sell some of the coins and see what happens to the market next.
I leave some of the coins intact in case my expectations exceed themselves.
42  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why can a piece of news from the Chinese government affect the price of Bitcoin? on: July 12, 2021, 07:49:45 PM
I think everything works a little differently here. The news that we see does not affect anything, moreover,
the dump that occurred is already embedded in the news, that is, first a dump occurs, then the news is linked to it so that it seemed as if the dump occurred because of the news.

44  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should I sell or hold on my bitcoin? on: July 10, 2021, 10:13:38 PM
It all depends on your plans for your bitcoins. If you believe in bitcoin and believe that its price will continue to rise in the future, then I see no reason for you to sell it now.
Are you a trader? If not, then there is no need to worry even if the price of bitcoin drops in the next few years, it is important whether you believe in the global growth of bitcoin in the future.
45  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you run when you fail or loose in a trade? on: July 10, 2021, 08:18:52 PM
Previously, I had moments when I lost money in things that I didn’t understand, for example, such as trading.
I am very grateful to such realizations, because after that I stopped engaging in activities that I did not understand well, because the risks were incommensurable. Now I'm not running away because losing is part of the game.
46  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Let's say you have a large amount of BTC and you on: July 06, 2021, 05:57:20 PM
Through the exchanger.
I would exchange BTC for the currency of interest to me in a private transaction or with the help of some service.
In a pinch, I would exchange it for cash.
47  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Question for bitcoin traders !!! on: July 06, 2021, 05:38:09 PM
Why do something about it? I think that all veterans of this forum understand that bitcoin has the properties of both growing and falling, and falling quite deeply.
To buy bitcoin and get upset after the price has not gone up is rather stupid and naive, because it cannot and will not grow constantly, these are cycles of growth and decline.
There has not yet been any growth without correction, then what's the point of worrying? You can only worry if you bought it at the peak points of growth, then you fell for FOMO.
48  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you run when you fail or loose in a trade? on: July 06, 2021, 05:34:35 PM
This often happens when people are placing too much hope and overestimating their risks. I myself got into similar states when I lost 80% of the deposit on stupid mistakes, it was killing me.
The most offensive thing is that such things are done on emotions, in a swagger, not according to the plan, but if I went according to the plan I developed, everything would be fine. In part, all of this is related to risk assessment.
49  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Cryptocurrency a Good Investment? on: July 06, 2021, 05:26:13 PM
I think everyone on this forum will agree that cryptocurrency is a wonderful investment, however, everything will depend on the time when it is made.
Everyone should have a cryptocurrency in their portfolios, because this is the money that has a certain independence from classical financial systems. And who knows how far all this can go, the possibilities are endless.
50  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Cryptocurrency a Good Investment? on: July 02, 2021, 05:15:14 PM
Everyone himself can answer this question. I think the most important thing here is the answer to the question "when".
After all, those who entered the market during its peak values are now suffering losses, the same thing happened in 2018. A lot of people came to the market and complained that they could not earn.
51  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading futures without knowledge of chart patterns, is gambling not trading on: July 01, 2021, 10:08:21 PM
It seems to me that, all other things being equal, an untrained person will have much more chances in trading than in gambling. All the same, the casino is designed in such a way that it would always be in the black, your mathematical expectation will always be negative. But in trading, everything depends on you. And a beginner can be guided at least by news analysis or by the trend itself, which may well help him stay afloat for a while, but over time, without knowledge and experience, he will undoubtedly fail.

52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Cryptocurrency will rise in future? on: July 01, 2021, 10:03:00 PM
Apparently, stacking and farming platforms will definitely get their place in the future, as well as those coins that will be working products and not speculative factors. Now there is a lot of garbage on the market, and the predictions that the garbage will go away in a couple of years did not come true, it only became more. Garbage is cleaned only during a bear market, which means it will inevitably come, it is at this time that stacking will help all of us.

54  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Risk Management in trading cryptocurrencies ...?? on: June 24, 2021, 10:27:33 PM
Everything is correct. Better to divide your deposit into 100 parts and use 1% on every trade. Anyway, as long as you are a beginner.
The next thread discusses how not to do it, namely, take the x100 leverage and go all-in for all the money. Hopefully newbies will learn a good lesson from other people's experience.
55  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop losses on: June 23, 2021, 11:06:46 PM
The market is extremely manipulative and therefore many experienced traders do not recommend using stop-losses, but for a beginner this is a deadly number.
It is better to lose a few percent of the deposit than to watch the entire deposit burn out in the bear market. Now the market is very dangerous, there is no clearly defined trend, which means it is better not to trade at all.
56  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do I invest in cryptocurrency or coinbase COIN on: June 16, 2021, 05:28:35 PM
Personally, I have not invested, but it seems to me that it is worth it. All the same, coinbase is not too far behind Binance, and you can now see what happens to the BNB coin.
Therefore, it may make sense to invest in this coin to everyone who has free funds. One way or another, this exchange will work for a long time, as it is the flagship in the market, that is, you should not worry about its safety and long-term.
If into long term goals then investing in stocks is good and safer, but if into crypto and knows that you will also be trading every now and then then it will be better to not let the money sleep longer in stock. It gain more profit by trading if knows how to trade well. But if we have plenty of money then diversifying is a good choice knowing that its safe and the potential is still there since there are still many whose not into using crypto exchanges yet and might use Coin once they enter into it.

It all depends on your goals. How is investing in stocks safer than investing in cryptocurrencies? After all, if we take the long-term prospects, then 10 years of investing in bitcoin is more than safe.
But if we are talking about short-term investments, then it is obvious that cryptocurrencies have higher risks. But who needs short-term investments when it comes to cryptocurrency?
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is best Altcoin to buy now on: June 15, 2021, 10:05:19 PM
Not financial advice. However, I found a strategy for myself, to buy the tokens of projects that are in trouble, often such projects bring instant profit.
In general, now a lot of promising coins are in correction, but I would wait a little longer to make sure that there will not be a repeated breakout of the bottom.

58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This time when bear market comes on: June 15, 2021, 10:01:35 PM
In any case, each bull run is not like the previous one, which means that each correction is also different. I would like to believe that this bull run will be different and the correction will not be as brutal as last time, but the crypt is cyclical, and it will fuel our hopes. Personally, I believe that scenarios can be different, including a drop to 25k, so I will keep some of the assets in stablecoins in order to buy the assets of interest to me on time.

59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't blame Elon musk and China for the dip!!!!!!! on: June 15, 2021, 09:57:21 PM
I don't like it when people accuse some third parties and celebrities that the market has collapsed or some kind of recession has occurred. I don't think that ordinary people play a big role right now, most of which somehow have a small share of bitcoins compared to the huge balance sheets of exchanges and institutional investors. Therefore, those people who have lost money in the current recession can blame anyone and as much as they want, but that will not change anything.

60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you recommend staking? on: May 29, 2021, 05:52:34 PM
I think it's obvious to everyone now that staking is a wonderful thing. It is especially good with those coins that have not yet grown in value.
Staking is an excellent tool in case of a long hold, because you don't just hold, you also get additional coins. A large number of holders allows the price of your coin to stay at a stable level.
