41  Economy / Economics / Re: Does engaging with bitcoins put you at risk? on: August 10, 2018, 10:02:50 PM
The world of bitcoin clearly has risks. The risk that I think is necessary for us to go through so that we can take lessons and get better, if you are afraid of failure then success that you will never achieve.
Being afraid to fail is the number one reason people do not do stuff that they know they should do, if they fail following the path that everyone takes no one blames them because they failed as well, but failing in an original way is seen as a failure but what they do not realize is that the only way to become successful is to learn from those failures until you succeed in an unconventional way.
42  Economy / Economics / Re: WHEN WILL PEOPLE LEARN? on: August 10, 2018, 09:49:24 PM
People are never going to learn because they do not want to do it, they want to obtain profits, but they do not want to do what it is necessary to reach that goal, most people are like that by the way, if they see someone with something they do not have they just assume that person was lucky, not understanding that most of the time those that become rich do it because of the great effort they put into productive activities.
43  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin recovery? on: August 06, 2018, 10:57:23 PM
This year is a special year for bitcoin, statistics show that in the second quarter of 2018 bitcoin prices ended with a discount of about 8% for the first time in history. All of the previous years have shown bitcoin growth in the second quarter. Do you think this is a bad sign of a long-term downturn of bitcoin or do you still believe in a strong rebound in bitcoin prices? at the end of the year.
This is not important, the price is not recovering as fast as we want? That is not a big deal, we know it will recover, the only thing we need to do is to wait until that happens and while I know there are a lot of persons disappointed with what it is happening the only thing I can say is that they agreed to the market conditions when they invested in this market.
44  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC will not perish on: August 06, 2018, 10:53:48 PM
Bitcoin is too resilient to perish though there are fluctuations in the prices on the market. Market will soon stabilize in no time.Do you believe that?

True, bitcoin can not die for now, this is just a price correction and it will not last forever, an increase in price definitely exists because bitcoin is still the best in crypto.
It cannot die and it will not die but there are many things happening in the market, there are simply too many scams going on and people need to understand that even if bitcoin is not part of this people are very mad about what it is happening in the market and if things continue in this direction then it is likely the market of cryptocurrencies is going to be affected by this bear market for a long time.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Next big ICO on: August 06, 2018, 10:33:58 PM
From what I've seen none of the current or upcoming ICOs look very promising.  The failure rate of new projects is extremely high and most of them end up being scams.  I would only stick to proven coins at the top of the charts unless you feel like throwing your money away on some worthless token.
Right now it seems like a horrible time to invest in icos not only many of the projects seems very unconvincing but since the market is not giving signs of recovery then those altcoins have no chance to develop since no one wants to invest their money in speculative endeavors when they can just buy bitcoin at the current prices and make a fortune in the future.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This dip is great! on: August 06, 2018, 10:30:41 PM
finally, some thread that dip is just a good time to invest, only negative attitude could be find here, finally i found someone that see "good" side of this down. We need to invest now, not to cry.
The only ones that do not think that the dip is good are all of those people that either do not understand how the market works or that invested when the price was very high, but for the rest the low prices are a blessing, you can buy almost all coins for a very good price and now the only thing you need to do to get profits is just to take your time and let the market grow.
47  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy in your country on: August 06, 2018, 10:26:48 PM
in my country, according to the government, that our economy is getting better and better than it was a few years ago
but, what I feel and I see today is that our economy was chaotic
increased state debts, basic electricity and fuel tariffs rose, taxes rose, idr weaken against usd
Yah I feel you. As I can see in my country it is pulling down because of the government who are very irresponsible in their duty. Many are unemployed. I think our economy is very weak.
Governments are most of the time responsible for their weak economies, they put so many regulations that complying with all of them is a process that takes a lot of time and effort and people prefer to not start a business and while that may not seem like much, you do not need to discourage all the people just enough people so there is not economic growth.
48  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will you stay in crypto if BTC does not recover? on: July 30, 2018, 10:46:22 PM
I'm already plus and I have no reason to be broken even if by 2019 we will fluctuate between 6,000 and 7,000. The growth will be, just everyone will begin to invest more strongly in altcoins and new projects to earn and there will be no such volatility in bitcoin.
The truth is that almost everyone should be breaking even, only those that invested in cryptocurrencies when the market was clearly overvalued and those that sold their coins because they thought the market will crash are the ones losing money, everyone else should have profits or as you said at least breaking even and if they are not then that is their fault for making those mistakes.
49  Economy / Speculation / Re: Be patient or take a risk for money??? on: July 30, 2018, 10:43:01 PM
Hey guys, there is a time that it comes to my mind that what should i do, wait for a long time or we can say hold for now or take a risk and grab the opportunity to have a money in your hands???
What do you think guys??
If you are losing money because you invested when the price of bitcoin was too high then this is not the moment to take risks, this is the moment to try to be as safe as possible, if you do not do that and you lose money again then it will be impossible for you to make any kind of meaningful profits in the future, so you need to hold your coins no matter what until the price recovers.
50  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will 2018 bitcoin amendment price be similar to 2014? on: July 30, 2018, 10:39:17 PM
It's definitely not going to be like 2014, because the community is stronger now and I think there's going to be a big bull market in the second half of the year, and there will be a lot of big consortia joining.
It is not going to take as long to recover as it did in the past but also I do not think the recovery is going to be as fast as people think, many people are expecting the recovery to happen in the next months and that seems impossible to me especially since people are not willing to put more money in a market they see does not presents too many positive developments.
51  Economy / Economics / Re: The Reason For Creating a New Cryptocurrency? on: July 30, 2018, 10:35:58 PM
The growing development of cryptocurrency in the world becomes a very positive thing in this digital era where the use of blockchain-based technology becomes real. However, in my mind, being questionable is actually the reason that many people make and create a new crypto currency?
Most developers create a coin to make money for themselves, they do not care about the long term prospects of the coins they are creating, they only care about themselves this is why it is getting more common to hear people say things against icos since the developers and speculators are getting rich while everyone losses money and this is simply unsustainable.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Year of altcoins or down again? on: July 30, 2018, 09:30:40 PM
We are witnessing a strange situation on the cryptocurrency market. Over the past 2 months, the cryptocurrency has experienced a strong correction. But now I hear more and more that soon will begin a large growth of altcoins. What do you think about it, friends?
To be serious, I had high hopes that the altcoins would exceed our expectations this year. My entire portfolio consists of altcoins at present.
I think you made a mistake, it is very easy to think that if we have a lot of altcoins that is going to give you a lot of profits and that is definitely possible but I really think this is going to be a terrible year for altcoins, since as you can see all the focus of investors is once again in bitcoin and I do not think that is going to change soon.
53  Economy / Speculation / Re: Curiosity of bitcoin prices in the future on: July 24, 2018, 02:21:04 AM
I am very unsure to reach 20K but seeing technikal graphs seems bitcoin prices are starting to do resistance to keep going up

we will see bitcoin price reach $20k again but not this time. bitcoin still need more time to reach that number and maybe it will happen in the next year because no one will know when it happens. what we need to do right now is just prepare and collect more bitcoin so we can sell it at the highest price. don't afraid if the price it goes down because the price will be back to the price before and it is just a correction for reaching the highest price.
People are too impatient, they know that the price will eventually recover but they do not want to wait, they want that the recovery to begin immediately and the market is not going to move the way they want it just because they wish it, they are the ones that need to adapt and most of the time they are not willing to do it and they pay the consequences of their actions by losing all their money while those that are capable to hold get all the profits.
54  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to become a trader? on: July 24, 2018, 02:17:07 AM
It is not so difficult to become a trader! You need to study a lot of literature, always be aware of news and updates that can affect the growth of assets, it is possible to spend and lose money, gain experience. To get verified information from the best brokers in the world, it became possible thanks to the platform Trade.io.
It is not so difficult for those that are willing to make the effort necessary to become good traders, but how many people are like that? Out of 100 people I suppose only 1 person is willing to make the effort, the rest just want to obtain profits without doing any effort and we can see their poor results every day in the forum when people complain about all the money they have lost.
55  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's not too late to sell on: July 24, 2018, 01:51:48 AM
I think bitcoin could well reach $2,000 - $3,000 if this $6,000 support get's broken. If you would sell now chances are high you could buy back and thus double your btc holding.

This is not financial advice, just a thought.

And this is not a good year for crypto I believe. Late 2019 we'll see some action.
No, the title of the thread should be “It's not too late to buy” the price has started a mild recovery, it is not the most impressive recovery out there but at least it tell to us that the market is not completely dominated by the bears as many people believed, it will take some time for the price to recover but I do not care since I am a long term holder.
56  Economy / Economics / Re: why the state does not print a lot of money? on: July 24, 2018, 01:45:56 AM
I think it is very simple. Money may cause inflation.
The more money that the goverment prints, the more likely a country has issues with inflation.
That is why if you go to a bank and you want to cash out a lot. They will not even have enough for you.
No, the reason a bank may not have enough money if a lot of people try to cash out is because of fractional reserve banking, for every 10 dollars that you put in a bank they keep one and they borrow the rest and then they create a receipt for those 9 dollars, that is called banking money and it is one of the main reasons why we have such a high rate of inflation.
57  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can be useful for a troubled economy on: July 24, 2018, 01:08:50 AM
I agree, bitcoin can overcome or be useful in overcoming a troubled economy. because it can provide income for those who do not have a job or those who have a regular job as additional income.
hence they will not have difficulty in economic terms, especially basic needs or daily needs. and very beneficial for those who have low and medium economy and bitcoin is very helpful to them.
We are seeing bitcoin helping people in countries with problems with their economies already this happened in Argentina some time ago and now it is happening in Venezuela, and when an economic crisis strikes again the world, we are going to be ready and we are going to have a currency which is at least decade old and that will grow in usage thanks to those failed economies.
58  Economy / Economics / Re: Does engaging with bitcoins put you at risk? on: July 23, 2018, 07:34:59 PM
We, as physically and intellectually healthy individuals, strive and survive to achieve our dreams, establish our roles in the society and fulfill our needs and wants. But in order to do this, we are also required to be financially healthy. The lingering fact is that money is not achievable as a single candy you can buy in the store. Sometimes, people risk their lives and reputation just to get a handful. Bitcoins are not officially a currency that you can just see in a certain country, that are being utilized and used. So, is dealing with bitcoins and other things related to it also puts us in a risky gamble?
Investing in bitcoin is a risk, but it is a calculated risk, and if you think the risk is too high then you can avoid participating in it, no one is going to obligate you to get bitcoin and form part of the community, we just ask one thing, if bitcoin does in fact becomes as successful as we think it can then do not come here and cry about all the bitcoin you could have got and didn't because you were afraid of the risks.
59  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's suppose that Bitcoin became universal (used everywhere you go) on: July 23, 2018, 07:15:12 PM
Well, this is one of the greatest aims of the crytocurrency industry but the long run effects like loss of taxes cannot be underestimated. But let me ask largely, is our taxes really used the right way?People are using our taxes for their advantage. Making and fating themselves. We still have a lot of problems the tax payer go through yet the taxes are collected daily, weekly and monthly. What are they used for.I believe that we will be able to manage things one day without taxes.
Taxes are simply too high, in the past there were not as many taxes and people relied more on themselves, their families and their communities and now people are delegating everything to the government and that is not right, with that excuse the governments around the world have become gigantic and are now a threat to our freedom and our economic well being.
60  Economy / Economics / Re: WHEN WILL PEOPLE LEARN? on: July 23, 2018, 07:12:02 PM
So saw many self airdrops of ERC20 tokens and wave platforms in social media. They would promise their investors a cheap token price purchase, and in turn promise a good listing price at the exchange. 98% of these self airdrop never make it to exchange, and the few that get listed in a decentralized exchange get pumped for 2hrs and there after dumped forever. Why do you think people still patronize these scamming project and not study good ICOs and buy?
Because people are greedy and they are lazy as well, you need to understand that people want to obtain the benefits of being rich without having to do all the hard work necessary to get there so they keep looking for solutions to that problem and that is why they keep investing in those scams, it is a shame because if they put all that effort to become rich it is likely they will reach that goal.
