41  Economy / Speculation / Re: I believe Bitcoin will surge to new heights after this dip on: May 16, 2024, 09:39:45 PM
We do appear to be hitting up on the top side of the downward trading range that's formed over the last 3 months.  That makes me think that a move up here would breakout of the trading range and allow Bitcoin to retest the all time highs.  I suspect it's a very likely possibility that we'll see Bitcoin take another leg up to around $85K over the next 2 months.  Then I think we'll see the distribution of the mtgox coins finally, and after a short digestion period we make a run for $100K before the end of the year.  This may be my wishful thinking here, but I wouldn't want to be sitting on the sidelines right now.
There’s still a big chance for Bitcoin to reach that price, probably we are just waiting for the right momentum and timing in the market. There’s also a big speculation going on with Bitcoin, let’s see if it will create an up trend in the coming weeks. Don’t just sit there, do some actions that can make you more ready once the market started to pump again, better to play long with Bitcoin.
42  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does destiny has influence in the amount we can win in gamble? on: May 16, 2024, 09:35:04 PM
If you believe on this one and If you’re destined to win big, then it will happen in time though it’s not guaranteed but who knows. Gambling is more about luck as we can’t do anything about this even if we use different strategies, the odds in winning is still low. Many believes on superstitions, luck and destiny and we cannot blame them for believing on this especially if they are dreaming to win big.
43  Economy / Economics / Re: Hyperinflation - Will it lead Countries to Adopt Bitcoin? on: May 16, 2024, 09:28:01 PM
Hyperinflation will not force countries to adopt crypto, as they still have other focus and dealing with such situation I believe, crypto will be their last resort. The situation in Argentina is worst and seriously, they are dealing with this for years already and yet they still banned crypto and Bitcoin, though you can still adopt crypto as long as you know how to transact this without violating the terms and conditions of the exchanges, if you are in Argentina and sees the potential of crypto, better to adopt on your own.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Diversify memecoin investments? on: May 16, 2024, 09:19:55 PM
Too risky and for me, it’s better to diversify with the top coins and lower your exposure in meme tokens. We know the hype for the meme tokens, and we know that there’s no real usage for the meme tokens in the market, and they only pump because of hype. Better to look for a one meme token where you can see a potential to be hyped.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Introduction to Crypto Airdrops on: May 15, 2024, 09:54:13 PM
My problem with airdrops in general is not the value of the tokens that I will receive, but the privacy aspect of participating in them.
If the data requested by Airdrop is limited to your name as a user on one of the platforms, there is no harm at all and it will be easy to participate.
However, Airdrop campaigns ask for more personal information, such as data related to your real identity, your address, the name of the bank you deal with, and photos.
For your ID card or passport, and here lies the danger. These projects can collect data and then sell them.

It is not recommended at all to participate in these campaigns or projects due to their poor concept and poor capabilities that do not suggest any expected success, as experiences have proven for more than 90 percent of them. It is also not recommended to provide personal data to any party whose competence to preserve it.
This is the new way of airdrop now, they are now requiring more details from you and more work from you before you qualified, unlike before that you just need to provide your wallet address and you can qualify already for the airdrop. If you are not ok with this process better not to participate on any airdrop, there's no guarantee with airdrops but still many are participating simply because they believe they can earn more money in airdrops which we can also prove from previous big airdrops.
46  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is "Sell in May" really a good idea (in the case of Bitcoin)? on: May 15, 2024, 09:36:53 PM
I dunno, when talking about bitcoin/crypto, there are simply too many factors to take into account(especially in the current economic/regulatory environment) to make a conclusion just based on traders/investors going on some summer break.

Personally, I wouldn't make any decent-sized market decisions based solely on monthly history price data. Cool data though, nonetheless.
Price history can be a big help but still, its not ok to purely rely on this because there's still a factor to consider before you sell your holdings.
Either the market hits your target price or hit your cut loss level, that should be your basis of selling and also depend on your strategy. This data might be overwhelming but it can be good too if you know how to use it properly, but if you are just a beginner better to look at the price trend to help you decide on your next move.
47  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why People Naturally Chase loses in gambling.. on: May 15, 2024, 09:21:03 PM
So, from your own understanding, what do you think makes people chase loses aside greed which I believe many of us are already familier with?.
In some chases, they chase their losses simply because they need the money and they just gamble it with a hope that they can win big unfortunately for them, the result is different, this can considered as more of a desired to win than being greedy and they have no choice but to chase after it. This might be the natural reaction of a gambler if they lose their important money in an instant, and the problem here is not being greedy alone but also being irresponsible.
48  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is leading crypto exchanges in 2024? on: May 15, 2024, 09:06:33 PM
Well Binance is the best but their is some other exchanges that have a smart interface that i really do prefer, well it all the same thing, one of my best exchange is Bybit and others like the Binance though 80% of crypto users have Binance and they prefer it reliable than other
Mind to share that other exchanges who offers a more advanced interface?
Binance will be totally banned in my country and having a good option can be a big help though despite of this, I still see Binance as the top exchange as they continue to grow and considering the number of users, that can tell alone which crypto exchanges are on top. I've been using Binance since then it's just that recently our government is trying to control us and forced us to used local exchanges instead which for me is not ok.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thinking outside The Box as a Gamer. on: May 15, 2024, 08:52:55 PM
Can't find any details about the game and I'm quiet curious about this since you said It's an RPG game.
Mind to share more details about this game and if this is a play to earn game, what's the status of their exposure in the market? I'm still interested in NFTs especially with the P2E games since they are still good, but haven't find any new games that is worth playing with.
50  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you prefer the crypto online gambling or regular fiat casinos gambling? on: May 14, 2024, 09:46:26 PM
I do prefer to gamble online now because its very convenient and safe at the same time especially if you are with the right site.
Though traditional casinos are still fine but I just visit them occasionally due to busy schedule while if you are gambling online, you can do this anytime. The current development with the fiat casinos is that, they are not entering the online world and they are also growing, if you are into crypto then you have no choice but to gamble online only.
51  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: This is how i trade often my spot market easy method on: May 14, 2024, 09:27:35 PM
Spot trading will be good for this approach if you do not want to go more than 1x and you are using averaging. But you will still need to be very careful because if bear market comes and you are holding your coins for a long time, it may not be good at all. Altcoins are very dangerous during bear market.
That's why I still advise if you are planning to hold long term, you should still have the cut-loss price level so you will not be trap for that long if the bear market begins again. Fortunately, we are still aiming to the top and there's still a big chance for us to witness bull trend, averaging method takes a lot of patience and consistency, if you are committed to hold longer, then I suggest to invest with good coins only so you will not be trap on a bad project.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you been profiting from memecoins? on: May 14, 2024, 09:12:53 PM
Despite of becoming a victim of a failed and scam memecoins, I still invest with them especially if there's a good hype and i can say that I make some profit out of it though it's risky but you just have to timing it so you will not be trap with their hype. There's still a big chance to make profit in memecoins, and I believe their season is about to begin again as we rally to the most bullish trend of the market, expect more hype for meme tokens, the early you buy the better.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After Bitcoin spot ETF, there is Ethereum spot ETF on: May 11, 2024, 09:41:18 PM
I don’t think it will be granted already. And if it makes it way through and get granted, then that’s it for a while because approving ETF has to do with trust for that coin/token and these people do not completely have that trust due to cryptocurrency’s volatile nature. I also think another reason would be to monitor the approved ones and know if they made a good decision before they can move on to more.
This one will be a big challenge for ETH to prove their worth, and asking SEC for the ETF approval is not easy at all and even if BTC ETF was approve, there’s no guarantee that ETH will get the same approval. Though, if ever this one will push through, it will be a big update for ETH and we might see its bullish trend again, so its also ok to have some holdings now before the hype started.
54  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When did you realize you need to be a responsible gambler so you can continue ? on: May 11, 2024, 09:36:00 PM
After losing money multiple times, you’ll slowly realize what went wrong and what you are doing.
Every gamblers have to experience this first before they commit to be more responsible next time and most of them learns the lesson in the hardest way. Losing is inevitable in gamble, and it you will not be responsible you can be addicted to it and you might so unnecessary things just to gamble and meet your greediness in gambling.
55  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Betcoin.AG Deleted my account after I made a withdrawal after winning. on: May 11, 2024, 09:28:13 PM
And even if they thought I was a scammer , why do they just close my account wihout saying anything and dont respond to me or let me in their support anymore? Is this how they treat people? this is so stressfull to go through when I know I have done NOTHING wrong.

That's frustrating when companies do that.  Maybe you made a withdrawal that seemed suspicious to them? Or it could be something else going on that we dont know about.  Either way, they should have told you why even if you didn't like the answer and  i'd try hitting them up every way you can - email, social media, or whatever contact info you can dig up on their site.  Just keep bugging them until someone tells you something.

The site should inform the player regarding this first before closing any account or at least allow them to explain their side. Even if you violate their terms and conditions, deleting your account should not be the option. Try to communicate with them using multiple channel and if they didn’t respond, better to raise this one into a scam accusation and as long as you have a strong evidence to support your claim, I believe many will support you on this one.
56  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are You Using A Journal Spreadsheets Will Pave The Way For Addiction To Gambling on: May 11, 2024, 09:15:44 PM
Ι use a spreadsheet for my sportsbets because I'd rather be able to know what I'm losing and not to overdo it. No other reason to be honest. I think holding a spreadsheet is like holding yourself accountable, which is good.

So I really don't understand OP's sentiment. Keeping track of your transactions and yourself accountable LEADS to addiction instead of preventing it? I think OP should reconsider because quite the opposite happens. It's not realistic to consider otherwise as keeping track is literally a barrier against addiction other than anything else. Maybe not the most effective one, and you can't rely only on this, but it surely has a good effect that one shouldn't just disregard like this.
Tracking your activities tells different, I can see a responsible gambler here especially if he will use that data to make a good strategy or another approach in gambling, and if you already hit your limit that spreadsheet will remind you to stop. Though it can be addicting once your data tells a bad habit of breaking your strategy, and having that monitoring is useless because your purpose hits different.
57  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Between females and males, who are more resistant to gambling losses?  on: May 11, 2024, 09:03:57 PM
We can't really tell, as both gender have different individuals as personality varies wether male or female. Some female are more emotionally balanced than Male, vice versa. This gears down to how each individual cope with losses and remedies they tend to use to avoid being wreck thus become addiction-free.

So generalization of this will be wrong, female are also strong and capable of some things.
Hard to tell not unless you make your survey or study regarding this, what we can know is that human are too emotional and if you are into gambling, that emotion might bring you into a bigger problem especially if you didn’t know how to control it. Some studies says that men are too emotional while the others tells the opposite, i believe once you are into gambling you should forget your emotion and just focus on the real situation.
58  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Recommended slot game provider for newbie on: May 10, 2024, 09:42:40 PM
I think all slot providers are good for beginners, it's just what I did in the past at the Pragmatic Play provider but in this case never recommend anything for beginners unless he asks so I prefer it at Pragmatic and PlayNgo providers now.

But I never pay attention to which provider has a good win for me it's just the same it's about luck even in pragmatic has won maxwin while other providers have never, in addition to providers from pragmatic it has the lowest bet compared to other providers.
Beginners always prefer to be entertained at first and yes it's their preference which game to play with and seriously, they might not be interested in knowing the providers as the gambling site chooses the best providers on their platform. PlayNgo can be a good one as they offer a lot of good slot games but still the probability to win is not high as expected, slot gamers are more of a luck game and the providers are not making any updates with their games just to be ahead their competitors, they are all offering the same probability, which will always depend on your luck.
59  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is going to happen with Bitcoin now? on: May 10, 2024, 09:33:03 PM
One thing we have to understand is that there were people that was waiting for the halving to come before they started accumulation, Currently I believe what is going on with Bitcoin price, is people are positioning and repositioning themselves getting ready for the market,  And let's not forget that there were these investors that got trapped at 69k during the last bull market who thought then the price was headed to 100k, so I kind think they're the people that took profits and probably some of them that didn't exist totally are buying at bit lower prices than the price they bought before, I believe soon the momentum we are waiting for will soon take off on Bitcoin and we will begin to see incredible price increase the coming weeks and months.
Many are waiting for their target to be hit before making any action, its either they will buy or sell it will depend on their strategy.
We are still in the accumulation phase and that's why Bitcoin didn't drop that much, what i can see is a healthy position for Bitcoin and any moment we might see the real bull trend which I believe, we have to be more prepared. Start accumulating as well, the target is still intact at $100k and there's still a chance for this one.
60  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Some topics to look for when starting trading on: May 10, 2024, 09:23:57 PM
Before entering any trade determine your net liquidity which is the total amount of cash or cash equivalents you have available for trading. Then determine the percentage of your account that you are willing to risk on a single trade. Many traders only risk 1% or 2% of their capital on each trade to ensure that a single loss is not devastating. However technical analysis is often associated with this style of position sizing because by its nature it provides somewhat objective chart-based action points.
Aside from learning everything about trading, setting aside of you capital is also advisable so you wont be exposed that much.
Beginners will always be emotional, and if you have bigger capital at first you might be tempted to trade everything that's why its ok to start at a small capital first and when you are already learning and know how to timing your trade, then that is the only time for you to review if you can still afford to increase your capital or you'll stick with your current liquidity.
