41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Wallets, AnkerPay on: July 27, 2020, 01:33:23 PM
I was actually expecting some innovation or a bit extra to lure people using older mobile wallets. For example, why should I leave Imtoken2 or Enjin for Ankerpay. If I get a satisfactory answer to this maybe I will download the Wallet tonight but until then, I don't see the need to using new wallets

They have made multiple partners since including DASH and their DEFI products in the wallet is more than enough innovation. But you need to download the wallet first to see it lol!

Looks like in my end the site is not easy to load, I was able to check it now, the list is only until top 30 per page.... not so much information IMO, as simple as coinmarketcap but you are competing with the big players now, so how put something new that is not present in the existing popular sites that is on the same purpose.

Tried night mode and day mode, I like the day mode more.

Ok thanks for the feedback, on my side the site loads fine.

And yes I agree the homepage list of 30 needs an option to expand to all coins.

Has any one tried the day/night mode? I think they should have the website in the dark mode as standard and then people can move to the light if they prefer...

Any comments?

Try to open it thru Opera:

[..snip..]
But probably a false positive. I try to play around and go to your cryptocurrency exchanges, why is the link of the exchanges though not clickable?

Yes those exchange links will need to be fixed, currently you can to copy it.

Ok, just put it in your to-do list, it should be fixed asap, as crypto currency users usually doesn't want to waste time by copying it and then pasting on another tab.

Seems like this was changed, go check it out. Also the day/night mode is done

It is into development from 2018 onwards. The data provided is good, but it is always a better to cross check the contents posted to the website. In videos section lots of ways to earn cryptocurrencies and information on earning through cloud mining is provided. How accurate is the results need to be checked, because this too can bring bad reputation to your site even though every content isn't yours.

No they changed that, only started a month ago. Yes maybe on the video portion there needs to be some kind of filter.

The site appears rich with data and yet lacks much of the arrangement that made part of this data useless.

 - I liked the idea of displaying the charts on the side but it looks static and unmanageable.
 - There are no options to reorder/ rerank currencies.
 - Server response with dealy, especially when switching between options ---> https://coinbae.org/coins/?sort=usd_price&sort_order=asc.
 - Remove Video Reviews ---> Cryptocurrency Exchanges ---> Mining Pools ----> Mining Algorithms ---> ..etc.
 - Add a price calculator.

Thanks for the great feedback, when you click on any given currency there's a much more manageable chart. But agreed the side charts will need to be more manageable.

The rest will probably added in the next month.

Wow, that's great. it's good to have other market providing platforms in addition to what we have in the industry at the moment. I just wish you guys would be a bit strict with your metrics about cryptocurrencies so that only the best of coins get to go live on your platform. Coinmarketcap is full of shitcoins at the moment just because they have been listed on two exchange platforms.

Well the most important thing in any market is data integrity and transparency. And I agree CMC has a lot of shitcoins plus a lot of fake volume which is a major concern. Those are definitely issues that Coinbae will be working (that is the main reason for their existence) this will take time to solve however. In addition there will be some proper charting for traders and a Derivatives exchange where you can long or short bitcoin.

That explains why it doesn't show up on the search engine.

Maybe trade volume last X hours? Top 5 traded cryptos? Largest gainers/ losers?

Great thanks for the suggestions, and yes the domain is less than a month old. The indexing will probably still catch up.

Hi Guys,

I am helping the Coinbae team spreading some awareness. Their site is live but it is version 1.0. So its very basic, prices are etc are live and they are working on adding some very interesting Crypto data from which the whole market will benefit.

What specific data would you like to see? Comparisons etc.. Any feed back would be appreciated.

Some details:

CoinBae is a global cryptocurrency market data provider, giving traders across all markets access to reliable and real time data.

Actually now i heard regarding this AnkerPay wallet even i don’t know It's a web wallet or android mobile wallet. I think right now it’s still under construction but some wallet features more exciting. But i don’t recommend became i don’t know it’s how much safe. This one is recent developed wallet i think but you can add more details like as about team, whitepaper and ann thread.

Its desktop and android wallet. And yes hope to see some new features soon. Here is the ann thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5171545.msg52036515#msg52036515

Lol! Another crypto wallet! What's happening in crypto these days! Almost every month a new crypto wallet or payment app is coming. This year I saw almost 10 crypto payment/wallets based projects. I would request to developer try to bring something in crypto, why some repetitive products from different projects!

The project is about much more than the wallet, check the site: ankerpay.com But I agree there needs to be innovation. This wallet includes the nodes and Savings account which is a first in its kind.

Not so sure, try OP to explain more in detail about the wallet and don't just promote it. Because this is related to assets, someone must be more careful when it comes to money. because the explanation and reputation of making a project going forward is also believed by many people. this is the first time I've heard of a wallet called ankerpay, is that guaranteed?
I think using Coinbase as an asset storage is quite convincing.
You should avoid any web wallet for storing assets which includes coinbase also because we are giving funds to the trusted sites so we don't actually own that coins better find a wallet and you will be full control on your funds.

Yes agreed, does not matter which wallet you choose it needs to be one where you control the private keys. A non-custodial wallet Like AnkerPay would be my suggestion.
But I think ankerpay wallet is still new, and there is no guarantee that your assets are fully secure. I think I prefer a platform that has a good reputation and has responsibility for what is managed. it's true that the wallet has full access to you, but it's not entirely safe for you, hackers are very clever to take private keys, seeds, and mnemonic keys or so on. one of my ways besides web and wallet applications, the safest hardware wallet by far.

I just heard about this wallet application and there are 3 versions in different OS namely Android, Windows and IOS, I am still hesitant in using the Windows version because this software makes it easy for hackers to break into it.
Does anyone here use the Windows version?

Yes that is correct but the web wallet is still very basic, they will need to add the mobile wallet features there. Currently its a basic wallet to run your Ankernodes and store Anker. They will need to add Bitcoin and then the exchange services like in the mobile wallet.

hmm, ankerpay, i remember hearing about them i think in 2018? so many projects hard to remember them all haha
IIRC tho, they were considered legit at the time, dont quote me on that tho lol
what advantages does this wallet offer? honestly im happy using an established one like Coinomi right now.  will take alot to convince people to switch imo : /

Yes they have been around since 2017, its true that Coinomi is more established but their fees are higher on the swaps using Shapeshift. Also Ankerpay seems to have better features.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Wallets, AnkerPay on: December 07, 2019, 07:58:35 PM
it's my first time heard about AnkerPay and can you explain what is the advantages of AnkerPay if we compare it to others wallet?

You can see more details here: https://www.cryptocompare.com/wallets/ankerpay/

You control your own private keys, they have their own built in exchange service similar to Shapeshift. They have also partnered with Changelly for credit cards and Paxos as a stable coin in the wallet.

Next I see they will launch their own chain which is on testnet currently, you can then use those coins in a savings a account and manage you masternodes inside the wallet.

And finally in their chat they said they will launch a mobile version for Futures trading soon. I will be keeping an eye out for that.
