41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain technology in universities on: September 04, 2020, 10:23:56 AM
Blockchain Technology should have an spot within the Information Technology departments of Universities since it really plays a huge role into improving platforms and not just Cryptocurrencies. Blockchain Technology can be used within Cloud Technologies and that would improve the security of technologies integrated within it.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi Platform on: September 03, 2020, 07:49:22 AM
Simply DeFi is abbreviation from Decentralized Finance, which is an industry that providing financial services such as lending, trading or etc through decentralized platform on a blockchain (mostly in Ethereum blockchain). There is another good article[1] which leads you to better understanding in DeFi or read this topic overview[2] about DeFi.

This would surely be another great utilization of Ethereum and knowing the endless possibilities of providing financial services now, we might get to see more improvement in the future. Article number 1 really gave a good introduction about DeFi which really shows the use of Blockchain Technology with providing financial services. Lending and Trading are one of the initial things that are always happening in some sections of the forum and creating a term for it just made it better.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How possible is it to make a living trading cryptocurrencies alone? on: September 03, 2020, 07:39:02 AM
It might actually take a long time but its worth it. To gain or earn more with Cryptocurrencies, managing a bounty or joining bounties are the best way to gain Alternate Cryptocurrencies. Managing a Bounty is hard but the pay is good BUT to do that, you need to prove yourself by managing small bounties at first then transition to bigger ones. You also need to have a reputation within the forum if you want to be known.
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you need to become a cryptocurrency software developer? on: September 03, 2020, 07:08:51 AM
Of course it depends on your knowledge on software BUT its not that easy to become a Cryptocurrency Developer or be part of a team that creates ideas about them. You don't have to rush knowing Cryptocurrencies instead you need to understand on where Cryptocurrency is integrated which is Blockchain. Blockchain Technology must be learned first before creating or developing Cryptocurrencies since Blockchain is the building blocks of Cryptocurrencies.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New normal world will make crypto better on: September 02, 2020, 11:08:17 AM
Popular Cryptos are doing better than traditional investment. Whole crypto market is doing improvement during covid pandemic where traditional businesses are suffering a lot. So large companies, banks found crypto as better field of investment and thereby most of the giants have separate arms to handle crypto assets. They are adding cryptos mainly btc, eth, defi into investment portfolio. Good days are coming if we survive through Covid19

It would actually still damage some businesses but that opens up an opportunity for Cryptocurrency to tackle the effects of Corona Virus. Its evident that people can't still go outside since we should treat every people with the virus to stop the spread of it and using Cryptocurrencies to pay for something without the hassle of P2P transactions would help lessen the spread of the Virus. Businesses should also take this opportunity to spread news about Cryptocurrency to be placed into good use.
46  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Research and Experience, There’s No Other Way! on: September 02, 2020, 10:57:16 AM
I read a post the other day asking for tips on how to learn bitcoin without going through the technical stuff (so they can start making profit sooner) and another one looking for a quick way to teach old people how bitcoin works. Here’s what I learned after months of observation and heavy reading on cryptocurrency inside and outside this forum.

There are NO SHORTCUTS to understanding bitcoin. You’ll find crash courses and simplified versions of the technical aspects of bitcoin but those are just to help make complex information more digestible WHEN YOU GO OVER IT AGAIN, not to help you skip certain parts. Yes, you’ll eventually realize that it’s best to re-read the stuff you refused to read the first time (when you thought it’s too much for you). With so many risks involved in cryptocurrency, you would want to know as much information about what you’re getting yourself into as you can. So, taking a shortcut is out of the question.

Think of cryptocurrency as a branch of science, because it’s as big as one. It’s not like a Netflix series that you can binge-watch in one go. Rather, it’s like the entire entertainment industry. Like a college course that takes many years to finish, it will take years of research and experience to master bitcoin. Also, research doesn’t stop as cryptocurrency is constantly evolving. Some of the things you will learn today may no longer apply tomorrow, so continuous study must be part of your daily routine.

Regarding profit, there certainly are various ways to grow wealth through bitcoin. You can invest, trade, gamble, perform tasks, write content, and many more, at least in this platform. But let’s not forget that the primary purpose of bitcoin introduction and adoption is to decentralize the financial system. More than just another income generator, it’s a campaign with a goal. Let’s find a way to contribute to that campaign. I also have a mentor btw so connecting with people who share your interest is also important.

You don't actually need to master something just to gain profit from Cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin along with other Cryptocurrencies just needs basic understanding on how  to complete tasks pertaining about them. Joining different kinds of campaigns within the forum and along social media platforms can give you a nice amount of Cryptocurrencies. Its true that learning has no shortcuts but experiencing them will be the best teacher to have. Understanding Bitcoin will come with time since you will always read about it anywhere.
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Patience above all will be rewarded here on: September 02, 2020, 10:50:29 AM
Investing in Bitcoin is not a matter for those with weak nerves and hasty ones who aspire to a quick profit. To become a millionaire you have to believe in Bitcoin and have enough patience, long breath and a strong heart. People who dared to deal with the cryptocurrency should prepare for failure, and then perhaps luck would smile at them.

Atleast put some brain on it too.

We all believe on that saying that good things comes from those who wait but waiting is not just enough. If you will be just waiting for your fruit to fall on you, that might just fall when it is already rotten. We have a lot of signs we can use to take some advantage and get some profit in a short period of time, read something, know the market, know whats happening, every movements can give you something.

That is actually right. Thinking about the investment is also a good idea since it can produce you a profitable income. Its true that watching for the perfect opportunity is the best way to gain profit and so waiting is just not the idea to HODL until the end but rather wait until the opportunity to sell is presented.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bad projects equals Bad results on: September 01, 2020, 10:43:37 AM
This makes me remember Tokoin and tachyon protocol bounty campaign, after hunters are paid they made huge profits from this bounties and still the value are rising and not dumped, so my question is why are other bounties getting ruined after launch? Or after hunters sell their rewards? Probably because they are bad projects, hunters aren't to be blame here isn't it? Good projects will never dumped because hunters sell off

That's always true since if those projects are just made for the sake of them gaining profit, the value will be so bad that Bounty Hunters wont gain any profit from it. That is why some Bounty Managers make sure that whatever Bounty they are managing is sure to agree to their end that they will keep developing and do their best to entice people to use their platform.
49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do scams harm Bitcoin's reputation in the mainstream world? on: September 01, 2020, 10:41:13 AM
The scams not just affects Bitcoin's reputation but also all the Cryptocurrencies being made. Scams are dangerous and might lead to people telling other people to not take interest into Cryptocurrencies. The scams need to stop and users that see these kind of scams must always tell other people to turn away from things that are too good to be true.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Mining, Still Relevant ? on: September 01, 2020, 09:59:45 AM
I am new to this forum and I have noted some useful value add comments.
Wonder if anyone can help me?
Is Bitcoin mining still happening or this is relevant only for new Crypto currencies ?

Open to being educated privately [email - thabangom@gmail.com].

Relevant or not, Mining is still profitable if done correctly. There is also a whole section that is dedicated to Bitcoin Mining and other Mining related services. Mining is one way to earn Bitcoin slowly and surely that only uses your electricity. There are low cost mining equipment that is said to return your investment within 6 months. That is already profit once done properly.
51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have shared about bitcoin on my class on: August 30, 2020, 12:19:02 PM
That is wonderful way to share about Cryptocurrencies. That is also how we got to present on how we can learn more about Bitcoin and even Blockchain Technology. Its still actually scary to see "Free Bitcoin" advertisements since it can really break peoples trust in learning about something new. Their impression will be filled with disgust and scared to even learn about it.
52  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Mobile Gaming on: August 30, 2020, 12:13:07 PM
As mobile gaming become start to become popular in the world of gaming.
I have this thought on my mind;

Can we relate Bitcoin with Mobile Gaming?

Just like Bitcoin; banks can be a traditional and Bitcoin becomes much easier and comfortable to use.

In mobile gaming; PC Desktop games/console games, etc can be traditional while games on mobile are the new trend where you can play comfortably anywhere with just your mobile phone.

Does it ring a bell?
It's kinda the use of Bitcoin is much comfortable since we just need a Bitcoin wallet and internet connection to make the transaction.
And in gaming: we just need a mobile phone where it is easy to access anytime and anywhere and play since you just need your mobile phone, no need to bring your console/PC desktop every time just to play.

Hmm, it might sound weird but knowing about how Bitcoin being compared to Mobile gaming is kinda possible and creating something that can integrate both of them can be surreal. It might actually turn into gambling since we are mixing a Cryptocurrency that has the potential to grow its value without knowing what is the reason behind it. It also might be a good idea since people are just overflowing with ideas these days and creating something that can monetize your time while playing can be actually worth it.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does bounty still kind of worth on 2020? on: August 29, 2020, 08:36:36 AM
Actually i would say no because most bounties are scam projects and when you participate in it you are giving precious time in bounties and some projects didn't even raise the amount to launch a project that's why it's useless.

How can you even say that a bounty is an scam project without proper research about it? Its not good to say bold assumptions just because it doesn't look legitimate. Its true that some projects cannot further develop their projects because of the lack of support BUT some projects are still pushing through even though they are not getting enough support. If most bounties are scam then why are some people gaining lots of profit from it? Its actually still not good to say most of them are scams because its only tagged like that when even the Bounty manager reports it or most users that joined that campaign feels like they are not being taken seriously by the handlers and project manager.

It is worth in 2020, but for your main job and main income is not  recommended to do at all. For every project they just give you below 100 bucks for every 3 months. This is really low compared to fixed jobs and in 2017 - 2018 it was really better and you could get more with just doing a single project, the difference is really insane.
well, in general, it's still worth it. however, conditions remained the same as in previous years. Not all bounties pay the price they deserve, because we know that some bounties don't pay out, and have no market value as we think. it's just that, some bounties are still quite valuable.

From the years 2017 - 2018 were very good for bounties and airdrops, but not in 2019 many bounties did not pay, but now it's getting better, many bounties are paying. we have to be really good at analyzing.

These is exactly what happened before and its actually good to see people learning and joining different bounty campaigns. We are still seeing lots of Bounties that can have great potential and joining Bounties is the right way to promote them. We just need to make sure that their projects are trusted and won't stop developing their platform when the Bounty has ended. Seeing new bounties this year have been really great since some ideas are made to tackle healthcare issues.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does bounty still kind of worth on 2020? on: August 29, 2020, 08:28:22 AM
We all know that we can get free bucks on these "bounties" since a long time ago. But today, is it still worth it hence there are so many cryptocurrencies like millions of them I i'm correct.
I wonder for you guys who always participate in bounties, I really want to know your portfolio's.

Pls no shitpost here for your signature campaign thing so people know your real opinion.

Its actually a good time to join Bounties because of what we are seeing from Bitcoins value. If we remember what happened on 2017-2018, in the beginning of that year, we saw what happened to almost all of the Bounties. It produced large profits even for newbies that joined their campaigns because Bitcoins value was so high that it even affected most Alternate Cryptocurrencies. That is why its always a good time to join Bounties since you are not losing anything instead, you are gaining something with the possibility of it having a great value. We can always participate in bounties that have short periods and be thankful that it will pay us what we worked for.
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I like to learn and use bitcoin on: August 29, 2020, 08:23:58 AM
I like learning and using bitcoin because bitcoin is the currency that can help me get rich fastest. Investing right when the price of bitcoin goes up, you will get very high profits without any profession. If you want to do business without loss, you must have knowledge So I studied bitcoin very carefully before investing money. And I sell, buy depending on the period.

Well said mate.
But to be honest we can't exactly determine when the price of the coin will go up.
What we can do is just to estimate.
And as Bitcoin is a stable coin so if it also falls down, then we won't face any losses.
Moreover i also like Bitcoin and Use it more often as it is stable and when the price rises, it gives enough profits.

Nevertheless this thing varies from person to person and i respect each other's point of view.
You can predict the short term price through technical analysis, a lot of people thinks trading is like gambling but it is a myth because trading is a set of rules and you need to know what kind of analysis that you should use in order to make gains. I think people should not view bitcoin as just source of income, because  a lot thinks that it is a form of investment and not a form of currency that can develop the payment system in the near future.

Having a good mentality can give us not just profit because we can learn nee concepts and ideas that we can use. We should not be part of the majority of people who are lazy to learn, we should commit that we are forever student of the market because it is always changing and for us to able to adapt certain changes.

That is quite true and fortunately we just need or wait for the right time on when to invest our money since there will be moments that we can gain maximum profits when we invest at the right time. Its a gamble but many people and users are willing to accept that risk since it will still be their own money anyway. Its also quite true that people learn at any times even though they do not want to. Having knowledge is the best investment to have since we can utilize our time on how to gain or earn more Cryptocurrencies (even Bitcoin).
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to call the people into crypto on: August 28, 2020, 05:19:38 AM
We can always take the opportunity given to us when there is a moment on where we can introduce Cryptocurrency to people. Its surely not like networking but giving them knowledge about some things that might really be used in the future is a good thing. Learning about Cryptocurrencies are endless since more and more platforms are being made.
57  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Patience above all will be rewarded here on: August 28, 2020, 05:13:06 AM
Rome wasn't built in a day, and Bitcoin won't take off to the moon right now. It will take a lot of improvement, a lot of new technology and a lot of hard work.

The people who buy in rallies and sell during bear markets and then don't believe in bitcoin anymore are clowns. If the price went to 25k in the next few months I guarantee it that the community will double maybe even quadruple in just a few days.

And then if it dropped back to 15k, suddenly most of these people will disappear again. They won't believe in bitrcoin and they will not care.

If you don't want your money to be created by bankers and the government at their whim the actual price of bitcoin is secondary. Bitcoin is a central part of the puzzle when it comes to the people getting back their sovereignty.

Those are actually words to live by since most users and new users rush to making rash investments regarding different kinds of Cryptocurrencies. Its only natural to have that reaction but we must always remember that creating dangerous decisions that might lead to even losing interest in Cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin was always growing even in 2017-2018, it showed a great surge in value and people rode that pump to gain money, now the same thing is actually happening and we can expect it to happen again.
58  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I can't wait until I can pay using bitcoin at the supermarket on: August 28, 2020, 04:37:34 AM
Just a feeling I have. It's all credit cards and dollars and shit.

Yeah, I'd rather spend the shit money and save my bitcoins, but I can't wait until I can use real money everywhere. I'd rather get paid in bitcoin and spend bitcoin.

That will be a dream come true for most users and even HODLers since they will be given the opportunity to directly buy something they need from a supermarket or grocery store using something that they gained over the Internet. Bitcoins platform is still expanding to most countries and would set an example that even fluctuating Cryptocurrencies have the chance in the market.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No exchange? No Value! on: August 27, 2020, 01:51:39 PM
That is an unfortunate turn of events since everybody campaigning for certain cryptocurrencies wants a high paying salary at the end. The only thing we can do about moments like this is to accept the fact that not every campaign have fortunate endings. Though we always have the chance to join multiple campaigns through social medias. Buying and selling different kinds of Alternate Cryptocurrencies can also have its own benefits.
60  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investment plan on: August 27, 2020, 01:19:30 PM
What is wrong about their statement is the fact that they only stated some of the known or famous Cryptocurrencies that is already known to most users BUT knowing about their platforms is a better way to promote these Cryptocurrencies since other people will know what they are famous for. We cannot always rely on some news since Cryptocurrencies are unpredictable UNLESS our guts really feels good for some Cryptos. We can always invest our money whenever we have the time since its our own money.
