41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has nothing to do with crime on: August 21, 2023, 07:46:09 AM
If you are a malicious person, you can use Bitcoin to commit crimes. This means that intent is one of the important things that determines the purpose of a tool.
Yeah. If I am a bad person, then any tool in front of me will be bad, whether it is knife, fiat, bitcoin, or altcoin. As a result, Bitcoin is only used as a scapegoat for bank crimes.
Well, basically, it's not the bitcoins that are evil, it's the people who use them that can use the bitcoins maliciously. If someone thinks like that, then altcoins or even Fiat can be described as a bad thing, because until now so many people use Fiat for bad things. So, I think people who think like that don't really understand bitcoin.
it's true that it depends on the perspective of each person, by taking advantage of the advantages of anonymous bitcoin, so many thoughts about using it are inappropriate, where the gap is used to commit crimes, and this is usually reinforced by the media which always broadcasts the news, so that it is embedded a bad image, even though besides the bad side, of course there is a good side that can help humans in their activities
42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth it to teach older people about bitcoin technology? on: August 21, 2023, 07:37:40 AM
A conversation will be meaningful if one party is interested in the topic being discussed. So if these older people are interested in Bitcoin and want to learn about this technology, why don't we teach them? it would be great if these older people are interested in this technology and we as young people who understand Bitcoin should be able to teach them.
Because after all one day we will become older people and how would we feel if young people were reluctant to teach us about a technology that we are interested in? so let's teach them if they are interested in learning Bitcoin.
to teach them they should understand first, on the other hand as parents they should have broad insight to teach something useful, and have a good view of changing times, but we cannot fully blame them because everyone certainly has a different mindset. different and for that that's why we as the younger generation should also respect the times, and there are many sources and it's easy to learn as long as there is a will, while at school it is certainly difficult to serve as an official curriculum, of course we already understand it, but a little knowledge expressed might be better
43  Economy / Economics / Re: Am I a bad person if I manage to avoid taxes? (Hypothetical question) on: August 16, 2023, 05:11:04 AM
I don't how you're going to avoid all of your taxes, but you'll get exposed soon and you won't like what's waiting for you.

Avoiding your taxes isn't the solution to battle inflation, you might save some money but you're still going to spend it on buying the things you need and wants and that's still consider as paying taxes. But to answer the your question, yes, you're a bad person if you're avoiding some of your taxes, whether it's every month or every year.

It's actually not that bad if you can evade it legally, I know it's not something that is frequently talked in the society today because it is our responsibility as a citizen to pay taxes but in line with the topic, you'll be surprised that most billionaires and other rich individuals are even getting away with it without having any problems because as I said, they have done it in a legal way. Well, not evading wholly because they are still paying a big sum annually (food, clothes, wants and other needs that are also taxed beforehand are not included) but not as big if they are not having some techniques to evade some of their taxes legally.
Avoiding taxes will only be a time bomb, as if we are hiding what we have, and what we are fighting against is the state, where the government can do anything to us, including blocking assets. but if we can avoid it legally maybe this will be a different story, considering that taxes also aim to build a country, even though many people are disappointed with the person, but the country's large income comes from taxes, and of course we as good citizens must obey against government regulations
44  Economy / Economics / Re: What are some financial secrets that you know of? on: August 16, 2023, 05:00:05 AM
Hey everyone. What are some of your wealth secrets that you could share with us?

Buying homes with cash and taking loans out on it?

Setting up trust funds in foreign countries and setting offshore corporations to avoid capital gains and taxation? (Sorry tax avoidance for any LEO reading this)

What are your secrets?
There’s no secrets but hardwork and patience pay off. And by simply investing on yourself by gaining knowledge and first hand experiences, when you consistently work on it, you’ll be rich faster than what you think. As there’s no shortcuts to success and being wealthy, everything starts with a goal and achieve it through taking advantage every opportunity that comes, and never miss any single of it.
reading opportunities is really needed to get rich, and of course with a normal process and instilling discipline in everything can help us to achieve success. there is no need to avoid what should be our obligation, because of course that way we will become rich inside and out, with a calm heart we seem to be the luckiest people and of course we can benefit many people in need
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 18, holding my bitcoin and looking forward :) on: August 15, 2023, 07:55:07 AM
has become a rich man's talent since he was young, I remember myself at the age of 18, who could only go to school and ask his parents for pocket money, I salute you, you are still young but already have a pension from investing in bitcoin. to be the right path in investing, imagine 20 years from now when you are already 38 years old, of course, financial life is guaranteed from now on. not to mention if you start starting a business and make a frozen investment in bitcoin, of course you have to feel lucky and grateful
46  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is bitcoin moving now? on: August 15, 2023, 07:45:44 AM
in bitcoin I only know the bearish season and the bullish season, during the bearish season many people sell bitcoin so the price decreases, and that becomes our opportunity to buy to invest, until finally we will sell it when the bullish season comes. considering that the movement of bitcoin I think is driven by sellers and buyers and besides that of course there are people with strong capital who can move it to lure fomo to come, so many people will think the bearish season is ending
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs. the Dollar (Traditional Money vs. Digital Innovation) on: August 15, 2023, 07:34:23 AM
the dollar is not only affected by bitcoin transactions, even without bitcoin the dollar has its own legs, as an international standard currency, it is different with bitcoin at this time, when the dollar rises, then when bitcoin transactions form a consolidation area then the price of bitcoin automatically decreases, but what we know that bitcoin price formation is purely from the value of buying and selling, therefore I don't think there is a significant influence between the two
48  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to make a life by Day Trading on: August 14, 2023, 02:05:16 PM
Well, 200$ is good enough to start trading, I even start at $100 before and gradually increase it.
Well, talking about earning daily from that amount is not impossible but it was hard. Maybe if you have $500 and above, definitely the chances are big. However, earning every day from trading is not just solely because we have huge capital but also, because it depends on how we manage our trades every day - strategies and decision-making. These are big factors that contribute to the results of our trades because it was still impossible to earn daily if we are ineffective.

Hmm, it's possible with the 200$ to make up for the 50$ at least because as OP is going for the leverage just take more risk using more leverage. But it's not recommended at all and I don't even recommend the Leverage trades, Just go for the spot. Besides recommending I use to say that you should not trade on leverage try to focus on the spot market trades, make small and consistent profits and gradually increase your capital investment.

That is much better than the leverage trade, more safe, and recomended.
Leverage trading will be more risky when using greater leverage, requiring a lot of calculations and analysis for that, if we are not wise in choosing the lot used, it will be closer to experiencing a margin call, what often happens is emotional indulgence, so using uncontrolled lots, this is what often happens when trading, even many traders still make the same mistake, it would be safer to use spot trading
49  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is copy trading a legit way of income for beginners or just a marketing tactic? on: August 14, 2023, 01:40:19 PM
when I was a beginner, I decided to study with my friend, so it would be easier for me to ask questions about what I didn't know, I saw the way he made transactions and asked after closing positions, so that over time I learned the basics of trading. , actually it's the same if we do copy trading, but after I learned the basics I started practicing on my own, but the most difficult thing was learning to control psychology, because even though I already knew something that shouldn't be done, I still violated it
50  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the market still profitable for new projects? on: August 09, 2023, 06:55:14 AM

So my question is: is this market still profitable for new projects?

The cryptocurrency industry is still in its infancy so new projects are always welcome and will appear daily. And from what I see, the return from new projects will always be greater than the old ones but the risk will also be much higher. That is also why those who invest in altcoins are less inclined to invest in old projects, they will look for new projects for the upcoming bull run in the hope of getting more profits.

I guess you are looking to invest in new projects to earn bigger profits, right? There is nothing wrong with that but be careful with them because the higher the return the higher the risk. It is better to invest most of your investment in bitcoin, only a little in altcoins.
new projects still have prospects for development, and actually there are many prospective new projects, but there are indeed more new projects that end up being scammed, therefore if we are still beginners, I suggest not choosing a new project to invest in, but investing in major coins which provides security in investing, even though by choosing a new project we can get multiple profits, but if it is wrong it will actually make us lose funds, because many projects have stopped
51  Economy / Economics / Re: New Research found Work from home workers to be less productive on: August 09, 2023, 06:44:10 AM
These researchers found that if you work from home you will be less efficient and productive than people who from their office. Can we say the same about freelance workers?

It depends on the type of work. If you are a freelance article writer and you are paid per article written, you don't need to go to the office and you can work from anywhere in the world. Besides, you are not employed in the company's staff, you are paid as an external. Now, in most office jobs, what you've seen is this: everyone has some downtime when what is the main task they have to do runs out. If you're at home, when you're done with the task, you go watch TV, lay on the couch or whatever, but if you're in the office and you see your bosses walking by you find things to do so they don't see you standing around, like organizing old files, going to talk to the partner or section chief about how to change the website and things like that.
it does depend on the type of work and one's character, considering that when the house is in the middle of the night it is quiet, many people actually have bright minds and can do work in a focused manner. On the other hand, there are also people who don't want to bring office work home, so I say that there can be differences because people are not the same in nature, especially for freelancers who are only required to complete work on time and with good results, whatever and whatever way. used, which is important in the results of the work in my opinion
52  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin really not for everyone? on: August 08, 2023, 03:02:52 PM
Before now, I've seen some forum members argue that bitcoin is not meant for everyone.
However in their own right, they have some point, but on the other hand, let's look at it from this angle.
Yes. Bitcoin for everyone created by a very visionary person who is able to provide space for freedom through decentralized ideas.
The people you meet say bitcoin is not for everyone, that person misunderstands bitcoin and you should stay away from associating with them.

You, you and anyone else may receive and own bitcoins as long as people have addresses and wallets as places to store them.
Everyone has the right to use bitcoin and has the right to make transactions on the bitcoin they have.
Stop thinking narrowly when the world is getting more advanced with various available technological sophistications.
I think he misunderstood what people were trying to say, that's the problem. It is for everyone, and we can all use it and there is nothing wrong with that, I think what he is trying to say is that it's not preferred by everyone.

The logic is that some people may say "it's not something I like" and that means it's not for them, it wasn't made for them, they didn't like it and they do not want to get into bitcoin, that's the meaning behind not for everyone. That is what people usually say, if you like and enjoy it and invest in it then it's for you, but if you dislike it and not really enjoy it and all that then it wasn't meant for you in the end. That is the type of situation we are having right now and could be considered as well.
for now because we as bitcoiners may not agree with that statement, but we also have to look at some people who don't believe in investing in bitcoin as well as currency, this is reasonable considering that the government has not set regulations on bitcoin, and from this that's some people don't agree with us, especially when you see that there are many cases that cannot be legally resolved, so that must also be understood, and that's probably what is meant
53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I lost my life savings trading Bitcoin Don't be like me. on: August 08, 2023, 02:42:41 PM
I don't know why am I am posting this here but I wanted someone to talk to. Since I can't talk about this to my family or friends because I am ashamed of myself. I am lazy piece of garbage who tried to make money the easy way, and get rich quick trading. I have failed my family and myself, I deserve everything that happened and will happen to me. It's time to take accountability for my actions. I think this will be my last message to the world, I am sorry
don't be too sad, friend, and don't blame yourself too much, you are not alone, and feel like the stupidest person who previously thought that you were great, and trading is an easy way to earn money. make it a lesson and start to bounce back once you feel calm. the phase that must be passed and the main lesson is a mental crisis, because of our stupid actions, but that is commonly experienced by many people and the next stage you have to learn a lot if you want to be friendly with the market
54  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading good for beginners? on: August 07, 2023, 08:19:20 AM
Actually, for beginner not recommended for trading without have knowledge, many unpredictable happen at the future actually get potential loss capital when little mistake in trading, but trading could be alternative side job for every one without have to spent all day for working. Current now, many channel information about trading and for beginner can learn step by step how to be success in trading but have to remember in trading is not fast way to earn profit or become rich person. All expert in trading come from beginner or newbies and success manage well with trading factor how to be success by reading as much information or news update about all coins news, depend many people have been success in trading come from beginner why not for beginner success in trading?
When new members start trading without having enough knowledge about trading new members can cause serious loss of their money due to a small mistake so new members should never start trading without having enough knowledge about trading.
Beginners should not focus on trading in the beginning but should focus on other aspects of cryptocurrency and try to learn about the unknown. Most of the new members are usually more interested in trading by looking at the positive side of trading, they think that buying a coin will make them profit but it is not that simple. There is a lot to learn about trading, you need to learn about trading and try to gain practical experience but success in trading is possible.
will be even more at risk if they do short-term trading, of course the risk they will suffer is greater. buying and choosing coins for trading is not as easy as one might imagine, of course you have to go through in-depth analysis and implement a strategy, because the market sometimes doesn't match our expectations. for beginners it would be better to make the first investment by doing long-term trading so you won't be dizzy and of course your mentality will be maintained
55  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are memecoins tarnishing the image of crypto? on: August 07, 2023, 08:09:25 AM
Not a fan of meme coins but i don't think there are tarnishing the image of cryptocurrency at all most of them are just  pump and dumb usually don't have any good concept unlike other altcoins. Many people have made thousands from meme coins and many have loose money due to it. one should be very careful when it comes to investing in crypto not just meme coins in general and never invest what you cannot afford to loose.
Indeed, it is just one of the variation of coins in crypto . It is not bad to invest in some of it, actually it is meme coin season some other go with the flow with what is in did the trend , as I just notice every year we can expect a new trend . Last year i think it is nft season and meme season right now it is still a meme season and we can say that it not tarnishing the image of crypto, we just go with the trend.
we can use it for a money printing machine, with an extraordinary pump that usually occurs and at that time seems to be able to hypnotize many people. Let's just take the example of the Shiba Inu which was popular before, until many bought it during the bullish season, until the price fell and they still have high hopes, so far it has not been proven to rise again especially with a bearish season like this time, but there are several coin memes which are popular and if we follow the trend we can speculate in it
56  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading tokens or coins, which one is better or gives more profits? on: August 07, 2023, 08:00:47 AM
It depends on the token and coin and can be obtained from your research.
Each person's research will have different results so that everyone will find a coin or token suitable for trading.
In addition, it also depends on the exchange because if you trade on Binance, I think the choice of coins will be more so you have to analyze in more detail to find the token or coin.
Try to get coins or tokens that are listed on many exchanges so that it can provide more analysis to see the movement.
for short term trading maybe a better coin, i.e. bitcoin. even if tokens or altcoins are indeed better to choose altcoins that are listed on many exchanges. and of course for short term trading maybe ethereum is still feasible. but don't let us trade short-term on new tokens, because in my opinion it is very risky for manipulation and we will find it difficult to analyze it, especially when analyzing it in technical chartist analysis
57  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation overpowers the value of money on: August 04, 2023, 04:43:37 AM
This devaluation of money is one of the main causes of inflation. The government has had to increase the prices of gas, oil and electricity at various times due to the increase in prices in the international market. This has resulted in increased cost of production and inflation within the country. A number of products are exported at a large rate despite not being enough to meet the domestic demand of the country. There is a shortage of goods within the country and the price of these goods increases. Market regulation is also needed to prevent inflation. Since this is a private sector matter, the task is not easy For this, the government should use its tools and increase monitoring.
an increase in that sector does affect other increases, and inflation cannot be avoided anymore, because basic materials such as oil for example, of course, will increase production costs in which their distribution will also increase. and in the end it is the people who feel the impact, therefore government supervision is very important considering that inflation seems unavoidable but at least the government can control it so that people do not suffer too much
58  Economy / Economics / Re: These are the top 100 brands by value in 2023 on: August 04, 2023, 04:31:38 AM
Any brands that you expected to see in the Top 10 but didn’t? Surprising to see that TikTok/Douyin is now becoming the most valuable social media brand in the world. I guess people really love watching lip-syncing celebrities.
I had hoped to find Facebook and Twitter there, but to my surprise, they were not present. These two platforms are undeniably central to the world of information and data exchange. As of now, social media serves as the primary hub where businesses congregate, making the presence of both Facebook and Twitter highly anticipated due to their widespread popularity.

Their relentless innovation and well-crafted partnership strategies resonate effectively with a multitude of businesses. Nonetheless, it's truly astonishing to witness TikTok's greater success compared to Facebook and Twitter. Despite being a newer company, TikTok has managed to secure a spot in the top 10. Its impact is genuinely awe-inspiring, as it has emerged as the latest trend captivating the entire population.
Tik Tok has transformed into a social media that is liked by many people, many people immediately use it as a mandatory application because it has many benefits, and also following trends is an easy way to get profits, where previously, when Tik Tok was not yet famous, Facebook was rampant in cyberspace, of course this is a consideration that we must be able to see trends earlier to make a profit, especially now that Twitter is changing its logo which certainly affects the trend
59  Economy / Economics / Re: Entrepreneurship and women on: August 04, 2023, 04:23:13 AM
More women in entrepreneur can really help to grow the economy. In some businesses, women are even more likely to do well than men. For example, a female barber in my street do make more sale than even the male. If ones country does not go against this..., I don't see any reason why more women shouldn't engage in businesses.

Women also have their role played in making business and they also contribute massively to enterprises, there's no complete business or enterprise without women directly or indirectly involved in it, they may not fit in many aspects but there are areas their role is needed to make a good impact for the experience needed, it is believed that there are particular areas in business where women's roles are particularly needed, such could be in advertisement, customer service or other businesses and enterprise where women are needed most, such could as well include a restaurant, fashion and other economical sectors their roles are very important.

When it comes to power and strength, mostly men will be dominant, but there are still women doing it, but only a few. But mostly, we noticed most of the business CEOs are women, meaning they are good at managing businesses and also small businesses in our local area, and I noticed most of them are women to help with family expenses. Roles are really important, like managing people, and you also need the right customer service as they are more persuasive and sweet at the same time.
the role of women is indeed currently equal to that of men, the placement of women in certain business sectors can be said to be more effective than men, one example is in the world of marketing where there are many women with good language skills and attractive appearance seem to be the main attraction to be able to sell a product. in my country the minister of finance comes from among women, and is indeed smart in terms of managing finances, having previously served at the world bank
60  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is more profiting self trade or AI on: August 03, 2023, 01:47:45 PM
Lately, there has been some development here in the integration of AI in trading on some stock assets and cryptocurrencies, and to a large instead, AI has ground in acting and executing trades and recording profits, but it has not been for long so as we can't tell what the success rate will be, but for the fact that the reality on the ground has shown and proven their existence in trading stock, so as that which one will you prefer if AI is proven to be effective.
Will you prefer to trade with AI or you prefer to do the trading yourself?
I don't rely on any trading automation to decide any trading setup for me whether AI, EA and Robot none of them is used to execute or predict market for me, I believe in trading manually basically using candlestick patterns and Price Action, I am not condemning those trading tools because it might work for some traders, however I do trade by myself because I believe those tool especially AI can be a distraction because of the trading signals generated might counter my own trading setup in view of that I only concentrated on my own decisions which I strongly believe is the best option in trading.
indeed the decision itself is far better than we entrust to AI. in trading science there are 3 categories that must be mastered, analysis techniques, money management and psychology, and I think AI only has both of them apart from psychology, even though it is psychology that is the determining factor in success in trading, even though it is difficult to master, but with us practice continuously then over time it will be honed by itself
