Really? I don't remember when Bitcoin always such a high value like $5,000.
At least in September, the price of Bitcoin still around $4,000 price range and can't breakout $5,000 resistance price.

The situation will be the same like with BCH. Owners of Bitcoin wallets (regardless the wallet type) can get their new virtual currency — BTG. The amount of BTG will be equal to the amount of the original Bitcoin you already have.

To address phishing, I made the following changes to PMs sent by newbies:

 - Newbie PMs will not have the following bbcode tags parsed: font, glow, img, iurl, move, size, shadow, url. Not allowing clickable URLs may be annoying, but it should make phishing a lot more difficult.
 - The warning appears in a different area when you click the "reply to this PM" link in an email (or just reply to a newbie PM).
 - The body of a PM sent by a newbie will not be sent via email. You'll still get a notification, but you'll have to visit the forum to read the PM.

Also, where previously the newbie PM warning was actually attached to their PM (so you'd see it when quoting, etc.), now it's part of the page, and will disappear when the user is no longer a newbie. A bit cleaner. For all previously-sent newbie PMs, you will now see two warnings, though.

Hello everyone, currently in need of help recovering my blockchain.info wallet, here's the details;

I've got a number of bitcoins in a blockchain.info online wallet that I created a few years ago.

What I have;
1. Email access
2. Wallet ID
3. Bitcoin address
4. Most of the password (approx 60%)
5. A powerful computer

What I don't have;
1. Entire Password
2. Mnemonic
3. Offline wallet backup

So here's where you come in, whoever can best instruct me to successfully recover an offline backup of the wallet from blockchain.info (I know it is possible as walletrecoveryservices has done it), and teach me how to set up and modify btcrecover (on Windows 10) to best use what I know about the password will receive a 0.5BTC bounty after I've cracked the wallet. The person who gives the most in-depth answer will be the one to receive the bounty, not necessarily the first, incomplete answer.

If you want to crack it yourself, I may consider it, however you would need to be highly trusted (with transaction for high BTC amounts and PROVE how much processing power you've got on hand, as you'll need a beast to crack the password. I will only consider ONE person for this, the reward for cracking it for me will be 0.75BTC. Do not PM me offering to crack my password, post your offer in the thread.

It is a normal occurrence for price to be down after a massive price increase. Still, BTG somehow contributed to the current price decrease that have happened today. Some users just bought some additional bitcoin that helped boost price because of the current fork that have happened and now that BTG is already distributed and is implemented, people who bought additional btc tends to sell now, it will just be going back to a certain price but it might not dump below 4000$.

All this discussion is a bit complicated for me, but anyway thanks for the help.
Yesterday I just remembered I had a little money at nitrogensports and decided to withdraw to an old address to see, and it worked perfectly fine , with the funds arriving directly to my wallet.

So, problem solved!
