41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin or Bitcoin on: August 12, 2019, 07:15:58 PM
I also thought that altcoins have more potential. This may be true, but altcoins put investors at greater risk than BTC. Now I understand that I need to have at least 2/3 of the funds in BTC. Unfortunately, I have run out of free money on altcoins Grin, so I have no way to buy Bitcoin.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What does the future holds for crypto? on: August 08, 2019, 10:26:00 AM
We can be optimistic and answer questions on points, as was done above. But we can assume another version.
In its pure form, cryptocurrencies are not needed by large centralized objects of power, this is even dangerous for them. Large corporations and governments are currently elaborating to gain control of large cryptocurrencies. To continue control or destruction.

In this case, other questions may arise about the future of cryptocurrencies, such as:
Will crypto live underground?
Will crypto develop to such a level that it is resistant to centralization?
Will there be mass adoption?
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shitcoin DEX soon on: August 08, 2019, 10:07:03 AM
Hi guys,

we are about to release a decentralized Shitcoin DEX soon. It will be a completely decentralized exchange where you can trade shit coins, create a new one and list it to the platform. It comes with user-friendly interface. What do you think? Would you enjoy such a crypto shitstorm?
The DEXs now have too much, Binance DEX, IDEX, DDEX, Forkdelta, ...
it was no stranger to everyone but what we needed was liquidity. Binance DEX and IDEX solved the problem and traders often focused on trading in Binance DEX or IDEX. New DEXs will usually not work well because too few people know.
If they create a certain reputation as a shitcoin exchange, they will be able to achieve some success.

From the point of view of conservative financiers, even Bitcoin is a shitasset. We all know that any assets are pumped and dumped from time to time. A market game with all possible tokens will be possible here. It may be interesting to everyone. A peculiar substitute for Cryptopia. Grin
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ether holdings of ICO projects gradually falling on: August 07, 2019, 04:22:54 AM
_____________________________
There's confidence in IEO for the developers and for the investors so its a good return for both however, I can see that the same fate can happen to them due to the scammers would also come to these platforms. They'll create project, list it on that specific exchange and then leave that project gradually together with the investors.
It's not that simple.
The specific exchange must be trusted. Otherwise, there will be another typefraud of high probability, which has already been mentioned many times. If only one or two trusted exchanges manage IEO, then ultimately this will lead to some centralization.
So, the ICO has a chance in the future.

Ethereum will get back to top once devs will release ETH 2.0 update. Right now, ETH is overcoming very hard times and its price is far behind its real value. Once BTC dominance will be pushed down, ETH should be one of the first coins that will explode.
Oh, it should be something commensurate with the ICO. Even better, as the pressure of ICO 2017-2018 is still ongoing. Ethereum should first show strength, and only then will BTC begin to lose its dominance. not the other way around Grin
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in XRP? on: August 06, 2019, 12:45:29 PM
To trade - yes, to hold - hardly. Trading may be good because this coin has sufficient liquidity. I do not think that investing in this is a good idea, as it is an asset that depends on a small number of people. They can play vs the majority, including against you.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shitcoin DEX soon on: August 05, 2019, 03:16:48 PM
As I saw above, this will be for ERC20 tokens. But in this case there is Etherdelta / Forkdelta.
Now there are many new projects on the platforms TRON, Stellar, Binance. Many of these tokens in the future will turn out to be shit, its even more likely than in 2017-2018. At the same time, Ethereum is losing its share for new tokens. Maybe you should consider this fact.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Adoption Over Bull Run on: August 01, 2019, 07:21:12 AM
Most of those that want to see an altcoin season do not really care about the adoption and the success of the coins they are holding, they want profits and they want them now, so adoption is not really what they are looking for, they want their coins to be hyped, they want high volatility levels since that has the tendency to drive prices up, once you understand what they want then it is easy to see why most members show no interest in the adoption of most coins, so while you are correct in your analysis you got the motivations of most people wrong.

You are 100% correct, and that was most visible when crypto when down with the price. Most of hyped users went to some kind of hibernation sleep forgetting crypto altogether.

All this people that want adoption must ask them selves what have they done to make it more real for other people around them. You can always talk to people, help them to download some wallets on their phones, transfer them small amount of some cheap coins that cost you same one cup of coffee just to push them in that direction. You can try to sale some junk from you basement on your local adds with notice that you also accept crypto as a way of payment. Wink

In 2017 - early 2018, I did it. I have attracted several people to crypto, such as investors and bounty hunters. Some of them were interested in technology. But not for long. The reason for this is also a drop in prices.
People seek profit first. Otherwise, most of them are conservative. Mass adoption can come to cryptocurrency through profits. Or imposing the need to use cryptocurrencies. Unfortunately.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DEXes are becoming popular on: July 31, 2019, 12:36:13 PM
I was a little surprised by the statement about DEX. How is the popularity of these exchanges determined?
The highest rate of evaluation of any exchange is the volume of trading. I want to believe that the volumes on DEXes are growing, but according to the tokens I have, this is not noticeable.
Is there a resource with tracking trading volumes on some DEX exchanges?
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO's has cause more harm done good on: July 28, 2019, 01:28:13 PM
As before, people did not study the project and invested in ICO, and now they are investing in IEO without studying the project. It did not change anything. But the study of the project is definitely always necessary. It is often important to see what assets we have, and whether it is possible to extract additional profit from this.
Another thing is that participation in the IEO on the trusted exchanges gives more confidence that we will not be deceived.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC halving , what to expect? on: July 25, 2019, 12:51:49 PM
I think the main factor is that LTC is altcoin. And also the fact that it is BTC fork. Therefore, each halving will not have such a large impact on the price, as many expect. In addition, after each division in halving there will be less and less emissions. It also reduces the impact on the price due to the large number of altcoins, since the new money is scattered throughout the cryptocurrency market and there is not a large increase in demand for LTC.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: It’s taking a lot of discipline not to sell my alts for Bitcoin. on: July 23, 2019, 03:29:23 PM
Ha, I have been holding some assets since 2017. Many of them are almost trash. And there were big pumps when there was a listing on a large exchange, such as Binans. At that time it was possible to sell with a very good profit.
Now I know what to hold pending the development of the project is wrong. For investment, as well as for trading, you need a trading system. Otherwise discipline to hold will cause loss Grin.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This Shows You When The Altcoin Season Starts! (Probably)! on: July 22, 2019, 07:26:14 PM
This is a global characteristic of the crypto market. For research of this indicator it is more correct to use the fundamental analysis, but not technical.
My FA:
Most crypto projects are still not profitable. Many projects are fraudulent and will soon disappear, taking money from the young industry. Therefore, in the near future, the growth of the market share of altcoins is possible only due to the speculative component. During hype. When BTC rewrites ATH.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Stop Blaming Bounty Hunter! on: July 22, 2019, 04:59:35 PM
Some project run their token sales like ponzi scheme. Giving some big investor huge discounts while other investors are treated equally and they have the goth to blame bounty hunters. Many of the dev team have always use hunters as leverage for perpetuating evils. Now their secrets are no more save. Many of them now lock hunters token but the result still remain worse. XCT is an examples of this. Most of them see hunters as hungry lions. Until hunters wake up and stop falling for campaign that promise unrealistic allocation, thing will continue to go from bad to worse
Advanced investors understand that they should not take this seriously. The paradox is that bounty hunters can dump the price, but they are not guilty of a price drop.
If there is no demand for project assets, even with the help of 0.1% of current funds the asset market may be collapsed.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fact about Cryptos on: July 16, 2019, 03:33:08 PM
There is one big fact about crypto that's above all other facts, bitcoin and altcoins can't be banned physically Grin
Either U.S ban crypto or not it won't hurt at all
Not 100% true but you have a point there mate. What I'm trying to say is that accepting cryptocurrency and banning cryptocurrency in U.S. is a great factor. If U.S. accepts cryptocurrency then the people of U.S might get interested in cryptocurrency and brings massive adoption on their side while if U.S. bans cryptocurrency then thats a bad impact on U.S people, massive adoption will be very slow if they ban cryptocurrency.
This is true, given the law-abiding majority of citizens of this country, as well as the fact that the main negative actions from the government of this country can negatively affect the market. They can temporarily cause to fall the crypto market, as there are many BTC and altcoin holders.

Thanks for your vote. If 2021 is the maximum of the cycle, why not invest early and buy cheaper? Honest question, maybe I didnt get what you meant. I dont enjoy casinos Wink
__________________________________________________
Yes, it's time to invest when inexpensive. Perhaps now is one of the best times for investing. And hold it until 2021. I meant it.

I was joking about the casino - there is a one-way street. Wink

What I dont get about Binance.. They're fairly new. Founded in 2017. Whats their story in a nutshell? Why are people trusting them so much, how did they become popular so quick and why is Binance a good coin?
The biggest achievement of Binance is the use of IEO for new successful projects. Against the background of good development, with the support of the holders of the BNB and the upping market, they found a good time to organize IEO such projects as BitTorrent, Harmony. This made Binance popular.
I think that you, as an experienced investor, understand that you have to be very careful with investments in boom projects.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Poll: Tell me what to buy with 212k USD and I'll do it and post screenshots on: July 14, 2019, 03:10:58 PM
Here are some of the assets I chose in my time (top 50): EOS, Cardano, Chainlink, NEM, IOTA, Pundi X ... and, of course 50% of portfolio, BTC, ETH.

You start an interesting game with crypto market. Apparently, +200K$ doesn't mean that much to you. With luck, you can earn 1,000,000 by 2021.(It is better to reserve the investment time until 2021, since it is expected that this will be the maximum of the next 4-year crypto market cycle.) But another, much less pleasant outcome is more likely. In a casino with the same result, you could spend your time more fun. Grin
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most new ICO/IEO projects are new crypto trading platforms on: July 13, 2019, 07:12:00 PM
A huge number of exchanges are also fictional. This is a blind to raise funds from unsuspecting investors. You do not think that the market needs a huge number of exchanges? Although the assets is less than the number of these exchanges Grin.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Its time for altcoins as well on: July 07, 2019, 01:38:30 PM
Which altcoins?

I can only see Ethereum which is following the path of bitcoin.
Others are just staying where they are or are also being dumped in exchange for bitcoin or ethereum.

Please do list some of them so we could review it. Maybe it will be worth the effort if we could make money out of it in trading.  Grin
Yes, most active altcoins are only pumped up and dropped. No new rush assets such as BTT, ONE, as was the spring.
If now is the right time for accumulation, it is difficult to determine what exactly to buy.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My vision of the market in the coming months on: July 07, 2019, 01:23:47 PM
Bitcoin has surprised to everyone for last 1-2 months and price of bitcoin is getting high amazingly and incoming months bitcoin will cross the $20000.
I was not surprised by the recent rise in BTC. If bitcoin had reached ATH in recent times, it would surprise me. I think that BTC will not reach ATH earlier than next year.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sometimes its always the investors fault on: June 29, 2019, 06:20:43 PM
You can't just blame investors for it. No one would want to throw away there money. The amount of time investor spent on researching about the project may be different but they do look into it. And even though they did, it would mostly depend on the project itself. Some promising looking project may become scam while a less flashy one gets a high price in exchange.
I agree.
Perhaps most investors do not do a quality research. Some do not do this because of laziness and misunderstanding how to do it. Others see no point in this after the experience of 2018 - no matter how good the project, it was a dump. And vice versa. During the big hype, any shitcoin will make X's.
