41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What hatred do people have for Bitcoin? on: August 04, 2021, 09:30:38 PM
There are so many reasons to which people hate bitcoin, most people due to thier recent experience investing in bitcoin and loosing their funds there blame it on bitcoin whereas bitcoin volatility is what makes it profitable, price will not just keep increasing surely there will be a retrace so by this buyers not just buy at any point so as to avoid loses, most people are just being ignorant buying the top, loosing funds and blame it on bitcoin.
42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Increasing acceptance level - Cryptocurrency on: August 04, 2021, 08:35:52 PM
As time goes on crypto keeps getting more traction, people are getting to see the importance, it's just a matter of time we will keep seeing more adoption of bitcoin and altcoins, bigger companies and investors will start coming in thereby pushing the value of bitcoin higher, crypto plays a big role in the world today standing out as a form for investment and also a store of value.
43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to the coins after your death ? on: August 04, 2021, 08:21:23 PM
Depends on what measures you've put in place when you were still alive, if you don't have anything then that bitcoin is already a lost coin that will again contribute to the permanent increase of price of bitcoin, you really don't have to plan about it ahead of time, it just makes you anxious that your death could happen any day.
No body is planning for death, everybody wants to live till their old age Buh things happen so quickly, it's really so bad how many crypto enthusiast saves their lifes fortune in crypto and when there are no more all those possession will be a waste, the plan had always been to make an impact, when we are no more our loves one's should benefit from our good works instead of it being a full waste because no one could have access to it.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin is more green? on: August 03, 2021, 10:51:14 PM
PoW coins that's relatively low in traffic, newly created with low amount of miners or PoS coins. elon's view regarding energy consumption feels so random though, he prefer coin that's green but choose doge instead even though there's other coins that are greener and better. however, Nano have been discussed a lot recently and people keep saying that it's greener than doge by a lot so maybe nano is the good option here if we're talking about low energy consumption.
You got that right, but I think POW is an outdated system of mining, POS coins would have been much more better since it doesn't requires energy to mine instead it's mining power is based on the amount of coin held, so a POS coin would have been better and there are many out there which got great potentials, talking about Elon Musk! He is a business man and would do anything which will go in it's favour in order to move his business forward and push his name to the top.

46  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop losses on: July 26, 2021, 11:17:31 PM
Risk management is key and stop loss is part of risk management, so bad I got burnt many times trading without stop loss before I got to learn my lessons, at first I did be in profits and refuse taking profit which could be seen as greed and at the end I did close the trade at loss, later learnt to control my greed but never learnt the most important which is managing risk, the last big dump which happened took me unaware and I almost lost everything so I vowed never to  trade without stop loss.
47  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Signals in crypto on: July 26, 2021, 11:12:01 PM
I would advice you don't trade with signals because there will be no need trading when you don't know your left from your right, a good signal wrongly used will surely give out bad results, so I think it's better your learn and acquire much knowledge about trading, or better still stick to buying and holding coins for long term to make profits. You can choose from the top 10 coins and buy them at a low price and sell at high price so as to keep making profit.
48  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOW IMPORTANT IS STOP LOSS on: July 26, 2021, 10:57:40 PM
Got in a discussion with a friend that recently started learning Technical Analysis and then he said he trades without using stop Loss. I told him no good trader trades without stop Loss. I tried to explain to him about the volatility and how trades can go against you especially as a new newbie and you can lose heavily. He seems adamant and I decided to leave him maybe he will learn from his own mistake if it happens. It seems there are also many traders that trade without stop Loss and I wonder how they do it conveniently.

Please share your views on how important stop Loss is and how convenient it can be to trade without stop Loss.
Talking from experience I can tell you using stop loss is as good as saving your funds, no matter the knowledge of technical analysis trading without stop loss can get you fucked up, technical analysis tells us action that has been taken already, there could be a sharp news which might push prices down after you have analysed and set up your trade and if this happens in your absence surely you gonna get liquidated.
49  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should I get a loan? on: July 26, 2021, 10:49:31 PM
Crypto is all about risk and reward, borrowing a loan to invest on crypto has never been a good strategy but since it's your family you are getting the loan from then it's cool, but from the amount you got already in crypto is much enough to call an investment and if prices pumps you will still make insane gains because you got a huge capital already, most times it isn't good putting your all in crypto but if you are ready for a long-term investment then it's cool.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Future? on: July 26, 2021, 06:59:29 PM
With all the ups and down bitcoin faced it still survived and is  doing great, so there is all possibility that bitcoin will last longer and  will be better off in the future.

No matter the situation bitcoin still find it's way through, bitcoin got a bright future and wil surely payoff those who believes in it, like we all know hodlers are the one's who earn more.
51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who to Trust, Fiat Banks or BTC? on: July 26, 2021, 06:34:42 PM
I don't trust bank with my data not at all, I only trust them with my money to a certain point in which I believe my funds is safe with them, the local banks are cheaters, most times I get debit for small fees I really don't know about, imagine them charging all of their customers with this little amount it turns out to fetch them a lot of money and in the case of data, our privacy is bridge by banks because there can easily give our data out to government officials, if not there is no way EFCC will get to know that a customer has so much funds in his account without the bank assistance
52  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin bull market back on: July 26, 2021, 06:23:22 PM

Market looks amazing within just overnight, the price jumps almost 10%. We're almost $40000 already so cross your fingers!

I am very optimistic that in the coming days of the week bitcoin market is going to make a significant upward movement that will make it price recover back to it all time price of $64k and there after recording a new all time high.

Isn't it always in a bull market?
In addition to your feelings, do you have any data or news to support this new high?
I don’t think Bitcoin is a bear market when it is falling, and a bull market when it’s rising.Looking at the trend in the long run, it is a bull market.

For long-term investors, they see Bitcoin to always be in a bull market which is also true. But most of the short-term guys who want to make money every fluctuation the bear market in every day. A lot of opportunities are wasted if they are not going to buy and sell every time.

You have a point here, the market seems to be tricky tho it's showing a bullish trend but seems no big support yet, but it's obvious most people just believe the bullish trend is back and won't take profit immediately and when price retraces downwards there start regretting. Well I just wish the bull run will continue, I really do miss those good days of uptrend.
53  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Small capital and Big capital on: July 25, 2021, 12:55:59 AM
I would suggest at a start you don't just start with a big capital because you might blow it up, it depends actually! If you must have been well educated about crypto and also learnt about risk management then you can start with big funds to maximise your profits. As a beginner with little knowledge it's better to start small and build up because it will help to gather much experience without loosing much and even if an account is been blown off you can easily fund and continue and make sure to correct your mistakes.
54  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I started investing in crypto 4 years ago but recently did I made profits on: July 25, 2021, 12:49:57 AM
4 years is really a long time frame for a person to start making profit from crypto, never a day have i ever followed an influencer option, well I only watch YouTube videos to build up my technical knowledge, which is I watch videos concerning technical analysis which makes me point out a good entry for a particular coin before it pumps. Well everybody with their own strategy I never participated in defi tho, been a trader and an investor, buy low and hodl for a long time frame.
55  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is not a Game . on: July 25, 2021, 12:40:08 AM
All Traders has a big knowledge regards in trade they never expected to win in trade cause they know that in market the cryptocurrency in trade is Volatile and everybody know that in trading is unexpected wetheir we lose or win.

Some newbie in trade and they have not enough knowledge regards in trading after that they take a risk an they just lose, all they will say that trading is a scam ,fake, not reliable, and not Good to trade. That's why they lost their faith about trading . That's why some traders here give some advice on how to trade or before you trade we must learn how to enter in trading.
Trading without knowledge is just like gambling, so bad most newbies jump into trade without acquiring much knowledge and in return loose funds. So my advice would be not just think of how much profit you could achieve, think of the risk involved and how much you could loose as well, to those who lose to trade giving up isn't the best option. Give your self time, learn about trading and risk management surely such person will win.
56  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Risk Management in trading cryptocurrencies ...?? on: July 19, 2021, 10:56:14 PM
In trading risk management is key, no matter the knowledge you got or experience achieved, without risk management you gonna crash someday so it's better to always apply risk management. Learn how to possibly manage risk, i can recommend 20% of the whole account size used for trading, 3 - 5% to me is a very good risk management but too small for trading and i will call that over management, and one thing about it is that it will fetch very little profit.
57  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daytrading vs Holding on: July 19, 2021, 10:40:16 PM
Holding is the best strategy for those who don't want to trade or can't trade.

Holding pays off, other trading can go either way. Daytrading specifically is a bit of a hard thing to do (trading intra day can be difficult). Dcaing or other tactics can be a lot easier to carry out and tactics like "buy the fear, sell the silence" might even work better than some day trading.
Well i think most times it depends on individuals, like you already said to person who can't trade, holding is the best for them because there have no option, if there trade there will accumulate more loosing trades. For a person who knows how to trade might earn so much from trading due to his experience and the market decision, such a person might earn huge from trading than holding.
58  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you run when you fail or loose in a trade? on: July 19, 2021, 10:26:34 PM
Such a bad experience, i have been in same situation not just once but thrice, i always try building my account to a certain point and in return there get liquidated, the last experience almost made me flew away from crypto but due to the belief and trust i had for crypto i took a break and came back this time with more energy but trying as much as possible not to make same mistakes again, by doing so i will keep building, giving up is not the best option.
59  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where do you get trading advice and tips from? on: July 19, 2021, 10:14:38 PM
In my early stage of trading i do take advices from forums like bitcointalk more precisely, and also watch YouTube videos as well to correct my mistakes, but as time goes on i met a mentor who tutored me and gave me advices on what to do and what not to do, so ever since my trading skills developed and my mistakes became less. So in a nutshell i could possibly say having a mentor is really a good point and will surely help your trading career.
60  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Trading have an advantage over investing?? on: July 18, 2021, 08:44:55 PM
The both pays very but it all depends on the individual, investing can be very easy and does not require much knowledge or efforts to be profitable, just know the basics of purchasing then your good to go, but trading is a different thing all together, in trading if you aren't knowledgeable enough you would end loosing all you got. So this is just the difference, trading isn't like investment where you can just jump in at any point, strategy and analysis is needed.
