41  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: November 29, 2017, 04:51:48 AM
I think that bitcoin will never be known to the whole world. He will remain popular only among some people. And this percentage of the population is not very large. Therefore, bitcoin will not become a global currency

44  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: November 29, 2017, 04:20:01 AM
I don't think the word "corruption" can be used in this kind of ecosystem, why did I say so? because we all know cryptocurrency such as bitcoin works in a decentralized structure so no one is in control when you look at it in the  bigger picture but if you look close to specific services then corruption might be use as a term but I bet to disagree I rather say its a tactical move to gain profit within a specific service offered to earn bitcoin and if you look at it is in a proper way because it is not compulsory taken out to anybody who holds bitcoin, it is more like a voluntarily move.
45  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ? on: November 29, 2017, 04:12:08 AM
All investments that are moving very slowly are alright. Your investments don't have to be skyrocketing every single day and I don't think there is really an investment like that. If someone says that the investment scheme he is on is like that, he's probably lying and is trying to scam you. As long as your investment is moving uphill, then it's okay even if it's moving very slowly (maybe not ridiculously slow though). An increase is still an increase.
46  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be international currency on: November 29, 2017, 04:05:55 AM
Bitcoin has already garnered the much needed global prominence. There is no gainsaying the fact that it is an already entrenched international currency. What is now needed is for governments and nations to make efforts towards making it a local legal tender. The rate at which Bitcoin is gaining relevance and the level of transactions that are been carried out with the crypto currency suggests nothing but a possibility of a global acceptance. At the rate at which Bitcoin is gaining popularity globally, in no time, we may begin to see framework that would make it generally acceptable.
47  Economy / Speculation / Re: Nights Watch by Afrikoin on: November 29, 2017, 03:48:47 AM
I have to say, I am considering liquidating my position... However, the optimist and dreamer in me wants to hold tight for an ETF approval. BUT, I would hate to miss out on selling at 1k and buying back at 500, you know? Too much like gambling to me, and I do not do well at gambling...
48  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: November 29, 2017, 03:35:05 AM
Stable or not, Bitcoin will always be popular.  First it is the first mover to the decentralized blockchain.  Second, with its userbase that does not include only traders, with the stability of Bitcoin price will welcome Bitcoin to its new community and much wider scope of usage.   This will cover a bigger audience and more interesting party will join to Bitcoin due to the merchants that are accepting Bitcoin in exchange of their goods.
49  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: November 28, 2017, 09:32:44 PM
The price does matter because that is the representation of its value, if the price is high that simply mean that the value is high. I believe that bitcoins will become more valuable in the near future that is why I am slowly saving a little of it in my wallet.
50  Economy / Economics / Re: A Resource Based Economy on: November 28, 2017, 09:21:12 PM
Not quite. My question was, if I don't want to give up my land, would you come and get it from me venturing a fight (like retards) over it in the name of humanity? I don't want to be superficial here, just wondering how you see the path of evolution towards a RBE.

Also, a more realistic question is, whether it is better in the name of progress to fight over resources. One fact is, besides basic human necessities, economically more efficient ideas tend to take over. Although managing shit intelligently is probably a better strategy in the long run, I'd like to hear of ideas about how to get to a point where it could take over before resources are already depleted.

The second question is, what if having exact same rights isn't intelligent? I'm saying this because you stated two goals. One is equal rights and the other is resource depletion. What if these two conflict? Or, a better question is, what can these rights be if we want to reach dynamic equilibrium. And of course, is there a way to enforce these without conflicting with these two goals.
51  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: November 28, 2017, 09:05:51 PM
They say it because the value was very low and that was of course not good. But it will always change so now it is stable.
And that is very good. I hope of course that the value will rise and rise more in the future, and that we can sell it with profit.
52  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: November 28, 2017, 08:56:07 PM
