42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DGC] DigitalCoin.Co | Instant \ Stable \ Reliable | MANDATORY UPDATE on: September 13, 2013, 04:56:47 PM
completely wrong assumptions being made by Baritus on this difficulty issue, will he drop the ego and admit he is wrong? My guess is not, and dgc will continue to suffer because of it.

What are your arguments? Present yourself

UPDATES:

1. DGC is now supported on https://www.coinpayments.net/. I've also updated the pool list, let me know if I missed yours.

2. DGC is the primary currency of the upcoming CryptoAve exchange and the only currency supported for exchanging CryptoAve shares.

3. New investors are joining DGC and you should see the buy orders building up.

4. DGC will be updated so difficulty rises a maximum of 100% and drops a maximum of 50%. More details to be announced within the next couple of days.

Retarget every 1080 bloks will be the same?

Well, last update should rise diff for max 100% and drop for max 50%. Why it is not happening?

Why difficulty just went from 0.9 to 3.3?

0.9 must have been a blip. It's been around 3-4 for the last couple weeks. There's been a lot of fluctuation lately, which is the reason for the recent mandatory client update. But from what I've seen 3.3 (admittedly not watching 24/7) has been more the rule than the exception.

I checked it on 3 sites, it was 0.9

Will you ship to Europe? If so, how big will the delay be, comparing to US customers?

Where in Europe are you based, and are you a VAT registered business? You need to consider this w.r.t. Price and speed of delivery.

In the UK without a VAT number you are held p by customs and have to pay 20%, plus now an additional 9% levy on top of the VAT price for orders from outside the EU over £135.

I found this out the hard way ordering from Bodybuilding.com early this year. Apparently there is some new levy introduced April 2012, and I should have split my order into two sub £135 denominations. Undecided

Slovakia and i am not VAT registered business

I've updated the exchange/bank thread if you're interested in taking a look.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=251782.0

I was pretty suprised when you "inherit" Argentum, but you obviously have a plan with it. Today i am suprised again. Can you reveal how SecureCoin fits into your plans, or what your plan is? I hope it is not just so exchange has more coins to offer. I still got the feeling that you know what you are doing, but i am still not sure what that is and how this coin fits your plan.

Lowering the number of blocks to retarget does not help. It's an automated system, it doesn't care how often it switches.

What do you expect to happen when most of the community are selfish profiteers? It's not my place to control people or their behaviour. The network is still functioning well and those with a longterm outlook won't join this idiotic trend.

Can you tell us if collecting list of all nodes has something to do with prevention against that idiotic trend?
