OK So 5 months until Main-net launch and you will be building/growing community & marketplace during this time. Will there be any use for the DivX during this time other then trade? For example purchase things from marketplace.
It will primarily be a store of value (for trading) and a way to guarantee your divi, but of course if things more quickly than expected this could change. We prefer to be conservative. |

Given the user adoption model you're hoping for, how will you keep buyers involved and updated?
How much of the model already works?
We will be implementing a community feature into our software where you can speak directly to people within our ecosystem, including founders and employees trained to answer questions effectively. We will also be launching our own forum within the next couple of weeks. I am personally developing it and I'm pleased to say that it's almost finished.  |

Ok sure it all sounds good, but there are hundreds of new coins and hundreds of new ICO's popping up every month. What makes this special?
Lets be honest, this whole decentralized crypto thing is open source so tech is not the most important thing IMHO, since any new startup can copy & paste. What caught my eye is the market place and your emphasis on building community. I believe this is the most important factor in the success of these crypto startups. Can you guys expand a little more on how you plan to launch and grow this area in the first 6 months post ICO?
I think you're right, the tech is not always the most important thing. The community that forms around a crypto is what drives its value. The technology provides no value alone but creates hype the makes a community excited about its potential future. A good example is IOTA. People love the tangle and are becoming big fans of it, even though it's not actually doing anything right now. What I can tell you is that we're very aware of the community aspect. If you visit our slack or telegram, you'll find us always there to answer questions, and treat everyone with respect. We love to turn critics into fans. If you look at our team, you'll notice that we have a woman named Heidi Krupp. She and her husband Darren are top NYC publicists. We have a 2-5 year plan (as long as it takes) to bring Divi to the attention of millions of people through publicity. Heidi works with Tony Robbins, Gary Vaynerchuck, Oprah Winfrey, etc, etc. Right now, in the media the only coin that's in the news is Bitcoin. Sometimes they talk about Ethereum. Occasionally you hear about Monero because some criminals are using it. Divi will be the other one you're going to hear about, with a story about how it's so much easier to use than other cryptocurrencies. It's for regular people. It's security is better and safer. It's like using PayPal but can do so much more. This is an easy story to sell because everyone hears about Bitcoin, but when they start looking into it, only a tiny community of geeks want anything to do with it. Divi will change that. Ok, that's some nice name dropping, but what are your plans on community features we can interact with besides just your typical social platforms? Would be cool to see a community building roadmap from post ICO to main-net launch. Our PR team has actually devised exactly what you are talking about and it will be launching within the next week or so. Will be sure to update here when it drops! |

Just noticed the Eth blockchain mining rate accelerated within the past 24hrs or so... does this affect your ICO date?
I'd like to know this as well. Currently, the ICO is scheduled on ETH block 4438800 (which was estimated at Nov 8.). How does this affect the ICO date? Based on the link I provided above, the estimated start date is Oct 27. That could change, so keep an eye on the link I posted! DiviDude is correct. I love the idea of this project especially the masternodes and smart wallet functionalities im following this coin and Im willing to promote it if some bounty campaign opens.

I think its good choice to created 60 million of token for this project and it will be a good for the price.
Because tokens are only created when someone contributes, the total amount of tokens created will vary based on when people enter. This is due to the fact that there are three contribution levels that are automatically triggered based on block time. More here --> divi.abax.io/blocktime |

what % of this coin staff are executives vs developers?
do you plan on staying erc20 or are you going to develop your own chain?
20% reserve - 10% for influencers, marketing, business expenses, etc. 10% will be vested for 2 years by the founders. ERC20 token only for crowdsale - once the protocol is released ERC20 DIVX will be exchanged at a 1:1 ratio to DIVI (official token of the blockchain). |
