I don't know even how many people lost their bet on Tottenham yesterday. Tottenham are still continuing to let everyone down. I wonder whether they can explain how they lost against Burnley after defeating Manchester City in an away match. Just how? Right after a very bright result like that, Tottenham should have maintained this by getting a decent win here too. But their performance was so poor that they didn't even make people excited about them. Tottenham are a team not to believe in right now.

Maybe we haven't watched a very impressive match so far but we have still two goals at least. And Manchester United have a big opportunity in their hands to advance to the next round by scoring the equalizer a little time ago. If Atletico Madrid can't get ahead again, I'll be starting to think strongly that Manchester United are going to be a few steps ahead to qualify for the quarter finals. But these teams are still close to each other in strength so I don't want to be prejudiced about it already now.

I don't see any title race right now. The six-point difference between Dortmund and Bayern Munich can be very misleading. Because there is no race. Dortmund are just an unpredictable and unstable team that's all. They sometimes drop the gap to these levels but it doesn't last long. Bayern Munich are still dominating the league and they will make it to the title once more. Dortmund can at least finish the season at the second position. They are already far ahead of Leverkusen and I guess that they would keep a good gap with Dortmund.

Burnley - Tottenham match also is going on right now. And we have left nearly the first thirty minutes of the half too. So far, Burnley have found more goal opportunities than Tottenham. This makes me uncomfortable to be honest. Tottenham should be dominating this match after destroying Manchester City away last week. But they continue to surprise people like this. But I still believe in them to defeat Burnley here. I mean that Burnley are one of the poorest teams of the season and Tottenham shouldn't lose points in this kind of matches.

Aubameyang and Torres can make a great duo in time I believe. Torres is a very promising young winger and Aubameyang has had a great experience as a centre-forward so far. And it looks like Aubameyang will find himself here again after having problematic seasons at Arsenal. It makes me happy and I hope to see him scoring many more goals from now on. And Torres should keep this in his mind also and shouldn't play selfishly. In the Napoli match, they could have won if Torres didn't waste too many goal chances for example.

It is very difficult to predict the champion team of this season now. Because there are three candidates which have nearly the same probability for winning the league title. Inter held the lead for so many weeks but now Milan have taken it. And I wouldn't be surprised if Napoli take it next time. The lead can change hands very often till the end and honestly I would like to see Milan reaching the title this time. I know that Napoli haven't won the title for more than thirty years. But I have a sympathy for Milan this year and I'd be happy if they make it.

I'm contented with the title rivalry's being fired up again after an epic match between Manchester City and Tottenham. I'm waiting excitedly for the Liverpool - Leeds match tomorrow night. This is Liverpool's only missing match now and they have to win if they want to make the gap with Manchester City three points. And I have zero doubt that they will do this. Leeds were destroyed by Manchester United by 4-2 home last week and they are getting close to another loss now. And after we get this gap between these two teams, I will be looking forward to watching the remaining matches in the league.

Clermont are a really unpredictable team now. They defeated Rennes, Nice and Marseille not much time ago. They defeated the last two even in away matches. They are at the 15th position in the standings now and they are just fighting for not relegating at the end. It is really hard to understand this team's being this bad despite having the ability to win one of the best teams in the Ligue 1. Thanks to Clermont's defeating Marseille last week, Nice dropped the gap to one point again. The battle for the second position also is very good to watch.

Next week, it seems like Real Madrid have another opportunity to make the point gap more with Sevilla. They are going to play against Vallecano away and Sevilla are going to be hosting Betis next week. Vallecano have been in such a terrible condition recently which increases the probability of seeing a decent Real Madrid win at the end of this match. And as we know how great Betis are in this season, Sevilla might make another point loss here. However, Sevilla defeated Betis away by 2-0 in the league this season too. But even a draw would be useful for Real Madrid.

Barcelona are really promising for the next season for now. Because they have improved their performance a lot recently and this is helping them about getting satisfying results in the league matches. They are my number one contender for the fourth spot right now. I don't think that Atletico Madrid are better than them to finish the season there. And it looks like we can see something changing for Atletico Madrid this summer. Diego Simeone could leave and they might make some other important changes for the benefit of the team.

I also think that Arsenal should look for other candidates rather than Alvaro Morata if they really want a good striker. Because Morata is no more than an overrated striker. I don't even understand how he played at big teams so far. He can be a good player for a middle-placed team but no more than that. He is not very skilled as for finishing attacks with goals. He wastes so many goal opportunities and it must be frustrating for the fans of the team. He is not playing good at Juventus now for example. If you are aiming to be a good centre-forward, I believe that you should be able to score many goals too.

We have left nearly half of the first half behind and there is still a 0-0 tie in the Cagliari - Napoli match. This is a big chance for Napoli to take the first position from Milan. As Milan and Inter both didn't get any win, Napoli have to win to be able to become the new leader. So far in the match, there has been a balanced game. Napoli will need to do better than this to defeat their opponent. Because Cagliari really seem like they also have a potential to surprise Napoli in this match.

Nantes got a really huge win against PSG today. They didn't have everything under control maybe but they still fought really hard against PSG. And they got the product of their effort. This huge 3-1 win must be really meaningful for them because they defeated the best in the league. At PSG side, Neymar scored the only goal and the assist belonged to Messi. And Neymar missed a penalty after that also. Maybe if this penalty ended up with a goal, then things would have been more different. But I congratulate Nantes on their huge win.

Mainz - Leverkusen was just a great match to watch. My predictions for this game were both teams to score and a draw. The first one happened but the second one didn't. Actually, this match would have ended up with a draw. Leverkusen were 2-1 ahead and Mainz started making a comeback. After making the score 2-2, honestly I expected the match to end like that. But only four minutes after the equalizer, Mainz scored another goal. And they succeeded in keeping the 3-2 score advantage until the end. I really appreciated the efforts of both teams.

The match between Manchester City and Tottenham is going on insanely now. Tottenham got ahead two times but Manchester City still equalized the score every time. And just now, Harry Kane scored his second goal and helped his team get ahead once again by 3-2. This is an unbelievable effort from Tottenham. Even though Manchester City seem to have the match under control, Tottenham still find a way to score. It is really a superb match and there are still a few minutes to be played.

I liked Villarreal very much against Granada today. Their performance was fascinating and they won the match by a huge 4-1 result. And it was Danjuma's day also as he made a great hat-trick here. Granada were not a big opponent for them at least for this season but it was still crucial for Villarreal not to underestimate them. And they really cared about getting a strong win in this match. Villarreal have climbed to even the fifth position in the standings temporarily. If somehow Barcelona lose to Valencia, Villarreal will keep their position.

Juventus disappointed me by drawing with Torino by 1-1. I was pretty sure about a Juventus win in this match. Because they have strengthened their offense much more now and they would be more effective as for scoring. But that was not the case I'm afraid. I actually liked their first half performance but their effort decreased in the second half too much. Not even finding the target for once is a serious problem. And Torino benefited from their poor effort really well thanks to Belotti's goal.

Suns still continue to tear their competitors apart one by one. Their last game was against Rockets and they won by a close margin like 124-121. Rockets are the most terrible team of this season now. But they still competed very well against Suns here. Suns are one of the number one contenders for the title already now. But we will see what happens in the playoff stage. Maybe Suns are going to make it this time after losing the title chance in the final last season.

I will be following the Manchester City - Tottenham match closely this weekend. Manchester City are given an odd like a joke. It is around 1.25 now.  Grin  Tottenham's is above 10 now on many betting websites. Bookmakers are seeing a very clear Manchester City victory at the end of this match. And they are not wrong about thinking in this way too of course. In the end, Manchester City are the leader and the biggest contender for the title by an insane run. And Tottenham's recent form is terrible with three consecutive losses. But maybe I could just try my luck with a draw here but I wouldn't bet much money on it of course.

Why a draw? It will be a shame, for example, if Tottenham wins (which may well happen since City cannot go on nolosing forever) and you bet on a draw. Although the odds of a draw are very good - 5.8 and may be worth the risk. I think a draw or Tottenham bet is also good since the odds are 3.6

It was just a feeling like maybe it could end in a draw.  Grin  I don't expect a 0-0 draw. We could see both teams scoring in this match I think. But I just can't think of a Tottenham win here. In the worst case, Manchester City would somehow find the equalizer and wouldn't let Tottenham get three points in Etihad I think. This didn't happen since February 14, 2016. Tottenham defeated Manchester City away then by 2-1. But the gap between them got bigger and bigger every year. And now, I don't see Tottenham winning here. But of course, one can try betting on them. Everything can happen in football any time in the end.  Wink

There is a match today in the league but it might not be followed much I guess.  Elche are hosting Vallecano tonight. Comparing the recent forms, Elche have been more promising. They lost their last match but it is normal as it was an away match against Sevilla. Vallecano started the season very good actually but their performance went down so quickly after a point. For this match, Vallecano still are favoured by bookmakers but I don't think that Elche will lose. They would get a draw in the worst case.
