At a certain price level it could become difficult to get face value as many investors would be hesitant to tie their money up and lose the liquidity.
It might not be underpriced if you're adding BTC + BCH + B2X. The price for B2X futures alone right now is $2070. Check coinmarketcap.com and search for SegWit2X. By my math that is 0.5 + 0.04555 + 0.143 = 0.68855 BTC not including any premium for the coin itself.
interesting. I guess it all depends on how B2X works out. Do these forks normally act similarly to how dividends affect stocks? ie: lets say BTC right now is $7000 and the B2X Futures are $2000. When it forks shouldnt BTC drop to $5000 if actual B2X is $2000? Complete garbage.... None of the "alt" coins matter unless your intention is to peel the coin and redeem...... If the coin states "1 Bitcoin"..... then there is "1 Bitcoin".... Just my 2 satoshis I agree with this. I also don't believe in hedging in this space for a bitcoin failure. I think Core knows what they are doing, they are constantly being distracted by these stupid hard forks. If Bitcoin fails I'm simply exiting crypto. Why would I trust anything else to end any differently. But that's all highly theoretical because as we all know bitcoin cannot fail

Yea, I don't want to mess with trying to clean it. It's unfortunate that they weren't shipped in proper storage. This is a normal process, it's going to affect most of the bitcoin bowl coins out there. In time, I expect most will have a far greater level of toning which could be nicer or worse. Hard to say.

Every cas needs a home, even the ugly ones. Dropping the price to reflect

Thanks, you are the second person to mention this to me, and you're right! I just received one in the mail, I was going to leave that option to the buyer. Price is negotiable as per condition of the coin. Still quite rare, and eventually they're all going to look a lot more toned than this.

This is pin #2 of only 100 that were ever made. Features a handsome enclosure for storage. These were CNC machined, and produced by the maker of SerpCoin ( https://coinfirm.org/product-category/serpcoin). They are a very rare find indeed. I am the original owner. Here are the pictures: https://imgur.com/a/FKeknThis is the original sale thread for reference: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=609221.0 These have some history to them. They are unbelievably unique, and special. If you're lucky, you might have seen one of these worn in the wild. You should note that fairly significant toning has started to occur on the pin itself, over time, compared to the originals (reference pictures in the original sale thread). Currently accepting private offers by PM.

Asking 0.21 0.15 or best offer. Shipping included. Some toning is evident, as is common with these coins. I have been informed that this is related to the slab in which they were sealed, which were never designed for long term air-tight storage. Pictures: https://imgur.com/a/57EMT

There is no recess in the coin under the private key so the hologram bulges up.

I have a few copies of bitcoin magazine as well.. a full sealed set, some floaters, 3 or 4 issue #1.. but like a fine wine those need to sit for a bit. By the way do people store these in their original packaging or repackage them in higher quality acid free? I'm got the infamous Newsweek issue where they claimed to find Satoshi.. such a long article real piece of history there.. Bloomberg's bitcoin dreams with the unicorn which is freaking sweet (probably neither for sale right now). I've got one of these I'd probably part with. IMO the economist almost always has a cover page highlight of something that booms or busts a few years before it happens.. this one's 2015. https://imgur.com/a/0JnBQ

English version. It's a thick comic. Raised spot gloss black ink on the front. A series of releases would have been pretty cool. https://imgur.com/a/p4hw2From the back: "... Satoshi Nakamoto, created the ultimate tool for global financial disruption now worth six billion dollars..." They also had a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0PuIGcotHWIIt's basically more than a hundred pages of art with an original story line. Super cool.

I don't actually think the first batch came with branded sleeves or anything like that. I believe that mine was simply wrapped for shipping
