41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Augur - 51% up in 24h? on: January 20, 2019, 09:47:56 AM
I am seeing this type of pump for multiple times in binance where the price growth went up t0 +50% to +70%. If you are planning to invest with Augur by just riding eith the flow, that is the riskiest decision you will ever do, unless you are willing to hold it for long term. After a day or two, a price correction will be made where the price will be dumped so you better be careful on where to buy and sell this altcoin.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Pump after dump? on: January 19, 2019, 03:09:03 PM
It is too early to say that since it just recently surpassed the wall of $3500 and another wall should be beaten up to $4200 before we could say that we may see a recovery. Always remember that there is always a fake pump or a bull trap set on the market and a surprise dump may happen any time so we better watch it closely.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT DO YOU LOOK AT WHEN EVALUATING A CRYPTO PROJECT on: January 18, 2019, 12:56:10 PM
I prefer investing to an altcoin that is full of potential in terms of partnership and the trading platform they are using. How often they are upgrading their platform and advertise the project to get more investors. It is a plus for me how dedicated the team members are because that is a strong proof that they are serious with the project.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to unshared bounty tokens? on: January 18, 2019, 09:04:02 AM
I already participated on multiple bounties and this thing never hits on my mind. You really have a point, they should pass the KYC first before calculating the stakes because there could be a chance that the allocated bounty were being cheated by the bounty manager or the team itself. This should also be clarifies on the OP bounty if they are asking for KYC after the campaign.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid Dump after listing on: January 17, 2019, 02:08:07 PM
It always happened to all ICO after listing where the price of their altcoin were being dumped by their investors and bounty hunters. The big reasom behind that is this. They only build the project when they collected the money from ICO where in fact, those money were only directing to their pocket and not to the project instead. Most investors are looking for a finish product and not to be built after they have the money. Creating Dapps might be one of the solution but I would suggest that they should build 70% of the project first before raising an ICO.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Listing on exchanges has no effects anymore on: January 16, 2019, 04:24:45 PM
You really have a good point and what you mentioned started me realizing that exchange listing no longer pump the price of an altcoin unlike last year where most traders are keeping an eye for such announcement. It looks like most traders and investors nowadays are tired of the same cycle or aware with the pump anf dump scheme. 2019 really is an interesting year so I hope that we could see a greener market this time.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptopia - BOOM another one gone - where are those decentralised exchanges on: January 15, 2019, 03:34:34 PM
What happened to cryptopia? Not working any more. Thank God I stopped trading in that exchange for a while now.

Looking for binance to launch their DEX in Feb 2019,will make the use of decentralized exchanges more.

I am also looking forward for that DEX from a well known trading platform like Binance. That is more secured specially they are backed up by the said exchange so I am pretty sure that most of the exchanges will follow the footsteps of binance if this DEX becomes successful. I am only thinking that the government will be given a hard time on how they regulate such DEX if millions are using it right? I am also a big fan of DEXs because I felt safer not giving my personal information.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Airdrop and Bounty Campaign on: January 14, 2019, 12:33:53 PM
On airdrop, you will get only a specific amount of rewards depending on the number of participants. That also applies to bounty campaign but the reward you will getting depends on the task you can accomplish since it will be divided in to different categories with different percentage of rewards. I could say that bounty campaigns are more legit than airdrops because most of the airdrops nowadays are fake and only aims to multiply the number of their telegram members for the incoming project of the admin will handle.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Avoid being disturbed on: January 14, 2019, 10:22:31 AM
This type of trading when getting disturbed by dumpers is panic selling. This always applicable for newbies on trading or most of the time, prefer to get an immediate profit once the token got listed to an exchange. We can't blame them since most of the time, this newly listed token always immediately dump by its investors and bounty hunters. I also prefer observing first if the token will be pumped or not before making a sell or buy back for a secured profit.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2019 Shopping List on: January 13, 2019, 01:05:16 PM
I am planning to collect an altcoin with potential below $1 like ADA, XLM, VERGE, TRX, XRP, CS, DRGN, IOTA, ONT and VET. I preferred holding these altcoins because of they pump up to $1, I can become an instant millionaire and I know thay it may take time but will be worth it. Who knows right? We may experience a new all time high this year and that will be a dream come true for all of us.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose a good project? on: January 12, 2019, 12:03:11 PM
You already met 15 scam projects and you are still not familiar how to check a good project? That is unusual. You can use google all you like to check if their team members are real and their partnership with another company is legit. You also better check if that company truly exist. Their social media accounts are not enough so doing deeper research is a plus. I am pretty sure that most investors from 2017 knows how to check if this project has a potential.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC should be for big whales on: January 11, 2019, 09:55:57 AM
KYC is applicable to any level of investors because it will be unfair if the whales will only do the process right? Besides, this big investors can also use other people just to hide their wealth since the only thing you need in KYC are valid photo ID and a selfie right? As much as I know, the type of KYC you are requesting already is effective on Bithumb.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The dump has started for 2019 on: January 11, 2019, 08:20:17 AM
This is nothing new if there will be an incoming hardfork to be made from a popular altcoin like ethereum. The whales are on the move to manipulate the market and their goal is to bring down the ethereum price at its lowest price so that they can fill their bags for a free token after the hardfork. There are some exchanges that stops some whales if they detected unusual activity but overall, there is no way to stop these guys.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP competing places with ETH? on: January 10, 2019, 05:01:45 PM
I was also surprised that XRP already took out the second place from ethereum so fast but I am pretty sure that this incoming hardfork will boost the ethereum price which will also be the reason to give back the crown to ethereum as king of all altcoins. Investing is all about the risk so if you are always like that, you will never learn. Besides, you can alwaus invest to different types of altcoins and dont put your money in one basket.

56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long does it take to become a pro on: January 09, 2019, 08:57:31 AM
That depends on your strategy or learning style on how to achieve such knowledge on how to become a professional in this field. It is true that one year is not enough for you to learn everything but it may be possible if you are actively trading and had enough resources to memorize those information. I am already in this business for over a year now but honestly, the knowledge that I had in this field is only 10% of the professional's knowledge. 3 years is long enough to understand everything specially if you actively train yourself or attending seminars related to this field.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hardware wallets to store altcoins - too expensive? on: January 09, 2019, 07:55:30 AM
What is more expensive and will shake your head is when the trading platform or the wallet you are using where your funds are sitting were hack. I also don't wanted to buy a hardwallet before because it was too expensive for me but what funny is that I earned a lot on 2017 more than the price of a Trezor or Ledger. Based on my experience, the main reason why most crypto enthusiast were unable to buy hardwallet is because they are not aware or afraid how this thing works or don't have a device like laptop to connect the hardwallet.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Market 2018 vs 2017 on: January 08, 2019, 03:46:16 PM
This is an interesting question. I'm wondering if these ICO investors already learn from 2017 and 2018 market results. 2017 is a year for crypto hype while 2018 was the opposite where a price correction happened and most ICO ended up either getting their token becomes a trash or discontinued the project. I could say that ICO this year will be different where there will be a concrete rules and regulation to be followed.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is a hard fork good or bad? on: January 07, 2019, 01:17:02 PM
For me, Hardfork were made to create a competition which platform is better, faster and secured. It can't be denied that that when there is a hardfork, there will be a pump for the original altcoin and a dump for the copycat. It is good in terms of making money because of the bonus altcoin you will get from hardfork but technically speaking, they only making business out of it and confused new investors.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do if you are deceived? on: January 07, 2019, 10:55:57 AM
ICO nowadays are dying because of multiple scam projects recorded on 2017 and 2018. Crypto investors are also aware that this project are nothing but a trash after a week getting listed to the exchange. I could say that the best option to check if the project is legit or not is to check carefully their team member if they have an active social accounts and if they are willing to show their faces on a video about the project or conferences they participated.
