You will never know if you'll be scammed or not. Most of the investments scheme nowadays are just to good to be true. Collecting different kinds of coins and then runaway. some are true but didn't work out, then turn into scam again. Just be safe, and always invests or put money on something that you can afford to lose, and diversified of possible.

I believe these are the reasons why ICOs fail. Most of them are just copycat of another token or coin. Meaning just to make hype and after they collected some amount they will turn into scam (some icos). No real value or no clear project. Poor marketing strategy. and lastly is the market today. Some people lost faith of icos and not invest at all. Most people believe in fud.

Absolutely. In this kind of market, hodling was never been so easy. Your emotions will be test in here. And perseverance is one thing you should have, i mean strong perseverance. You'll experience lot of greens and lots of reds in here.. In whatever happens, as long as you believe in the project, your perseverance wont be put into waste when the ath comes.

The best thing to do is just wait and be patient. Theres a saying patience is a virtue. Way back 2009 when bitcoin is new. Some of the people who invest in bitcoin forget about their investment, and then after several years, look at them now, multimillionaires. If we want to have the same story, maybe we should be patient and wait for our story "financially" to be a good one also ..

This is really true. It is somehow same with, invest only what you can afford to loose. Here in crypto, we are all taking risks, but we should always remember to calculate all the risks that we take. We might one day be bankrupt or lost everything because of taking too much risks. we should always be smart in whatever decision we make.

There was a saying "what goes up must come down"., so definitely when its on the downside, there is no direction that it will go rather than go up. For me market is just taking its time to go up again.. lets just be patient.

Every thing that is new have risk on it. Crypto is surely have a lot of risk. If you dont take risks you will not gain or benefit from it. In this business the higher the risks, the higher the return. But always remember the rule on crypto, " invests only what you can afford to lose".

Yes, some bounty campaign are waste of time. So to avoid wasting your time, you need some decent research about the project you intend to campaign. Yeah it takes some time to receive your payment for the campaign, but i think it will be worth it if its a solid project.

Ive been alarmed by this post. Sometimes it really helps when you read on a forum like this.. But my concern is, how can i detect those malware infections if i dont have any experience and knowledge about the codes that their using..? Sometimes i just click on links, and i dont know if clicking certain links will cause infections on my device, and i will loose all my data or theres a possibility that i will be hacked. Online thing is really dangerous.
Anyaways this post is very informative, and keep reminding everyone to be extra careful.

Its a good thing to store all your passwords and private keys on a safe place. Always make back up, cause if something happens on your first back up, even your data is not hacked, still all you altcoins will be gone forever.. Also a safe place for altcoins are hardware wallet.. Try yo have one so everything will be safe.

First thing to do is to study the project. If you think thats its a solid one, then you have a choice to join the ico. But as of now, after the token sale/ico, and right on its first listing, the price of the token is unbelievably lower than the ico price. So its better to watch it at first, grab some when it goes down the ico price, then take profits when it reach ath.

In crypto, manipulation is simply noticeable starting from the day bitcoin had been discovered. All the news and rumors about crypto can easily affect and manipulate the market even it is fake. This is crypto and we should be immune with that,.

I believe it is depending on how the security of the exchange is. Even some of the top ranking exchange got hacked even they got their 2fa enabled. To be safe make sure to still take some portions of your coins in a hardware wallet, use different passwords on every exchange account you have and always activate 2fa authentication.

Yeah it is one strong coin.. it will not be on second place next to bitcoin if it isn't that strong. Since the market is down for several months, now is the time to take chance on putting a lot on our bags. One of the greatest investment so far. Well that is just my opinion..
