41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins/Bitcoin Bull on: July 01, 2019, 07:32:28 AM
Personally, I continue to hold altcoins. Someday their time will come when the domination of Bitcoin will decline. Maybe it will come in the fall, we'll see.

You should pick them both, because every one or all of these coins can certainly have good momentum to buy and also sell. Bitcoin actually has the potential that only people when buying also ignore market conditions
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't compromise your safety on forked coins. on: July 01, 2019, 07:30:23 AM
Hey everyone, let's just quickly review the main forked coins and their price approximately

Bitcoins gold   28$
Bitcoins diamond 1$
Bitcoins cash 400$

Now if you want to sacrifice your security of your wallet over these coins , let's be honest doing it for Bitcoins cash does make sense , but just don't go around and do it until and unless you do hold a good amount of Bitcoins.

* Never give your private key to anyone *
NEVER
Even if the site is trusted and all and you can change but don't give anyone even 1% chance because trust me once scammed no one will return your money .

It's better to be safe then sorry.

Yes, it happened a year ago, I think a lot of people even beginners know the risks and profits given are not comparable. Nowadays people are more interested in STO or IEO
43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's value after being more recognized and accepted globally. on: June 30, 2019, 05:05:02 PM
Most of us believe that the reason behind bitcoin price dumping in 2017 was only whale game but personally i will not put all to them. There was some negative news effect where bitcoin holder got panicked and as result they fear to hold that. Wherever in recent time bitcoin has already showed us a positive turnover and good time will shake worldwide crypto holders hand soon.

Well i'm agreed for not place whole of assets into one basket. That is a mistake that is often made especially by novice traders. Besides that, FOMO is actually more dangerous than those who sell cheaper when the market is bearish. I started from 2017, then now realize that trading in bitcoin and alts only requires the right entry.
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Netflix is gonna film documentary about crypto on: June 30, 2019, 04:33:18 PM
First of all, I think it will be a great educational video that can explain much for newbies and secondly, this movie can push bitcoin's and altcoin's price reach the sky (don't perceive it literally). What do u think?

the source: https://thebitplex.com/?p=198

Documentary films  Roll Eyes

I think this is definitely going to be a lot of debate, because documentary films should be made if history of that matter has been completed and while we are still running today is part of that history. I think there will be many opinions and statements that can be controversial. It would be better if it was used as a crime film series or a puzzle or something
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin is still productive on: June 30, 2019, 12:29:23 PM
When considering altcoins prices meanly they are depend on behavior of bitcoin. But when considering technologies of altcoins some have really productive technologies. So they should have good future. As investors it safe to invest on those by splitting investment on best altcoins.

I think if we have linked it to BTC's influence I think all altcoins will have more or less the same impact. So for the future we have to look at the altcoin side, not only about whether their goals are running or not. Altcoin is not productive, it's more to "Profit" although 80% of them are sick.
46  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to trade WITHOUT exchange? on: June 30, 2019, 12:01:09 PM
Since bitcoin is programmable, is it possible that many people just trade through command line under Linux? This way, we could avoid fees related to exchanges.

I thought it wouldn't work. Exchange owners create websites and interfaces so they can understand how they work even though they are basically the same.
However, if it is changed in the form of a Linux command, many people will not understand this. Moreover, fees have become the basis of miners, so we can't change terms and conditions
47  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Insurance on: June 30, 2019, 11:54:23 AM
What are your thoughts about having a compulsory insurance when someone wants to do some ICO so that investors are safe and the participants are also safe? So if ever they want to scam people, people are secured.

It is good but the investors and exchanges needs to take action for it.

I see many people panicking on invest over the ICO and henceforth all people turns to invest on the IEO market on any exchanges. I ma not sure policypal kind of team can be helpful for this idea as my belief.

IEO now is the best choice for them who wanna invest their money for some project. But at the same time we just can expect it will gain profit. Even some IEO is just gain under 100% ROI. Depends on what kind of project, whitepaper, partnership and their real goal.
48  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Investment better or saving? on: June 29, 2019, 11:39:25 PM
Both of these actually have advantages and disadvantages. If you really want to invest in food you have to know in the field and do you see prospects going forward? Although sometimes in crypto it is not clear whether this really works or just runs in place.
49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why It’s Good News That Crypto Companies Are Stepping Back From The US on: June 28, 2019, 03:11:38 PM
The US had been pretty much a harsh environment for crypto to thrive on lately, same as with the EU. No wonder big companies are trying to branch out and place their HQ somewhere in Asia (HK and SGP for example) wherein regulations are pretty much viable for the companies and the compliance is not that strict. If the US regulators persist in kicking/pushing away good crypto businesses out of their own soil, it's opportunity lost for them and not the services. There are loads of countries with light regulations re: cryptocurrencies, and it just gives services better operating environment than trying to fit in and be a slave to Uncle Sam.

US is a bit crude with crypto because this is also related to the security of their citizens' data, especially if the crypto project requires KYC, and the majority does indeed prohibit US citizens from participating. On the other hand, the EU is more free. countries like Ukraine, Latvia, Malta and Estonia were more friendly to crypto
50  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: free / low cost exchange on: June 28, 2019, 03:02:02 PM
last time i needed to trade i went to coin base pro. they offered 0% trading fee for makers. now it's 0.15%. not the end of the world, but still sucks compared to 0%. are there any reputable exchanges still offering no fee trades?

No, I don't think that would be possible, so the iming of zero fees in trading is impossible. In essence, that is the place and center of an exchange to get a profit and so that the exchange can still run well and also remain support. even large exchanges like Binance still have fees which i think that was still normal.
51  Economy / Economics / Re: CEO - WIREX: "GOODBYE Banknotes... Payments will be DIGITAL" - Cryptonites on: June 28, 2019, 02:10:17 AM
In my opinion there are too many projects that have the same goal of "Payment Gateway" whereas only with digital money I am still quite comfortable. More than enough with current daily activities. Cryptospace requires something different and certainly easy in blockchain implementation.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your View of Facebook Coins? on: June 27, 2019, 07:36:47 AM
What's special about Facebook coins? partnership? quality product? next crypto or maybe think it's a bitcoin revolution? What do you think.
It's special because it is a company on the mainstream and not just a company but it's worth billions of dollars. People are very encouraged about it's announcement of Libra but don't compare it to bitcoin. Libra wouldn't be the next crypto but it's another coin (others don't consider it as a crypto) just like the old fashioned altcoins.

if I'm private, whatever it is, I will enjoy what they have made like a Bitcoin coin. so, if Facebook coins have a big chance on the market, of course I will use them and vice versa.
They have partnerships already that will accept their coin as payment.

Well if Libra's function is only for payment or anytying else then why should we use that ? I mean why not use BTC, ETH or other coin that already in the marketcap with atleast more better at some point.

I think Facebook is just following the trends for now
53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Africa needs bitcoin, not a charity on: June 25, 2019, 07:33:45 AM
As long as the government is still busy dealing with things such as corruption and civil war in the country, I think these two things will be in vain. Even the infrastructure needed for them is still less than expected. Africa needs something that builds the country, schools and also decisive acts of conflict that often occur there.
Infrastructure like agriculture I think is a vital thing needed to support Africa.

Im sure it will go for nothing if bitcoin distributed to them.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you trust FB with your KYC details? on: June 25, 2019, 05:22:16 AM
If you already have Facebook and I think 95% of the majority here must have it, then I guess they don't need what we often call KYC anymore. The data registered for Facebook is more than the KYC itself.
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FULL NODE DONWLOAD on: June 24, 2019, 07:32:37 AM
The thing is more and more people download it , more will the Bitcoins grow and this is indeed something that is very essential, you Ina way ;

You are helping Bitcoin grow , which is a awesome thing ,( not all hero wear capes Wink )

At the same time what I can think of is it is making your transactions more secure and this is a good thing.

Best of luck bro don't just uninstall it keep it 🙌

Well, someone should teach him how to use it. it all seems to be in vain if you only know some cryptography and others usually suffer losses (phishing, malware).

And the most used Proof-of-Work still become their first target.
56  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Attack on Bitcoin on: June 24, 2019, 07:27:12 AM
Somewhere, a group is preparing an attack on Bitcoin. It will come around the next big pump. The attackers will have an exponentially large advantage of computing power. If the network isn't compromised, it will be severely damaged.

Your posts should be justified. If indeed you believe this will happen, at least there are links or information such as screenahot or anything that supports authentication of the statements you provide. If not, I guess you just want the bitcoin to go down in price and take the price below.
57  Economy / Economics / Re: Hong kong and China war can lead to possible Bitcoin popularity on: June 18, 2019, 11:14:39 AM
We all know that China doesnt want to be involved on cryptocurrency for some reasons but after whats happening to China and Hong Kong, it seems like bitcoin would be the main option.

The two countries are currently under stress because People in Hong Kong vehemently oppose a proposed bill, which would give authorities the power to deport those suspected of crimes to mainland China.

Hong Kong people obviously engaged in a rally for them to change the leader's mind. With this, the people, most specially rich ones wanted to withdraw all their money in China or makes it anonymous that's why they are eyeing on bitcoin as the main option for transferring of wealth.

We dont want to have this kind of war between people or countries. Even though it will be a good way of boosting bitcoin, i hope it will not end in that way and resolve the problem of both countries. Its still not safe there till now. Lets pray for the people's safety.

Here's the full article
https://bitcoinist.com/hong-kong-protest-china-bitcoin-assets-offshore/

I guess even if things like this are true, the use of Bitcoin that is only used to transfer funds I don't think will be that easy, of course with such a lot of funds they only have 2 choices.

1. Buying in a clear exchange for withdrawal will require KYC
2. Using OTC is quite high risk
58  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency are gonna disappear on: June 18, 2019, 10:29:39 AM
Cryptocurrencies, in turn, do not have such a clear status of use as a blockchain. Of course, we can say that they are independent units for calculations, but they are independent because the blockchain makes them so. No one will say for sure how long the fashion for cryptocurrency will last, because in a decentralized way it is quite possible to send Fiat if agreed with the government.
Cryptocurrencies do not have very strong prospects and their fate depends on how governments perceive their status. We can expect both the extinction of this movement in favor of several strong coins, and the growth of cryptocurrencies that will be created by many services as loyalty systems.

If indeed Crypto does not have a prospect, why is the price so expensive? Even if it counts until now, so does the daily volume. What are the reasons for the government? I think this is an old story, even since the government had no business and joined in (before the crypto moment reached the ATH point) crypto was still very prospect
59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bangladesh is going to accept Blockchain technology. on: June 18, 2019, 09:59:25 AM

We should be cautious though because accepting the possible use of the blockchain technology does not automatically mean that bitcoin can also be given the same pass...but we are hoping that this is so. Bangladesh can be a good addition to many countries whose people are already enjoying the option of buying, using and trading bitcoin. With a growing economy and number of people, the potential for this country to contribute something for the industry can be a big and happy news.

That is why she refers to blockchain and not Bitcoin. However the people sometimes brand, if the so called blockchain has done something they refer and link it to bitcoin and vice versa. This is the problem in the mentality of the people but we should understand them and educate them that blockchain is indeed a useful technology in many cases.

Even if both are accepted, I think at a time like this, things like this are more or less just as a formality, while the development to the next level still doubts whether it is really done or not. Maybe the best possible level of use of Bitcoin as a means of payment.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges to be careful about IEO listing. on: June 16, 2019, 05:02:44 PM
Currently IEO's are becoming pupular and providing a more reliable option for new projects than ICO's. Previously a lot of new projects started by raising funds via their ICO sites and because of unregulated nature of this avenue, a lot of scammers used the medium to swindle a lot of victims.

Now the story has changed as it only serious projects that would want to go through IEO's, we no longer would hold only the project body responsible for any IEO scam but the exchange, so any exchange that values its reputation and users should do a proper scrutiny about any project before accepting their IEO sales. For instance if an exchange fails multiple times with their IEO, it will drive attention away from them, that is why Binance still draws a lot of attentions because it has recorded more successful and profitable IEO's.

However, this kind of IEO will also affect the exchange, later it will become a problem if too many coins / tokens are listed on the exchange so that at certain points there may be several coins that have a volume below the average. This thing will create these markets become a junk someday.
