42  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: June 17, 2017, 10:48:23 PM
It is not easy, even if you win. It is not easy to give up because you think the next roll or card will make you alot more, but that is not so most of the time. Undecided

It should have a warning label on the sites you go to to be warned that if you continue you can become addicted to the site very easily and not coming back is a very very hard thing to accomplish doing if you are caught in the trap of becoming addicted to it.
43  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice Websites on: June 17, 2017, 08:37:21 PM
But another question I had:
Why is bustabit on the sites being listed?
This site was for dice sites and bustabit is not a dice gambling site.

Even the owner has made this distinction quite clear being displayed to his customers on the site in chat on several occasions. Undecided
44  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Gunman in Resorts World Manila on: June 17, 2017, 08:35:05 PM
The gunman was just from our place, he was actually a man known for gambling and he was a bigtime gambler. He was left by her wife and 2 kids for his doings. I think his life become miserable since then he should have been good for those days he was with his family. I felt sad for this man but those who was killed by his actions they need justice.
This is so true now.
Gambling can ruin your life and your entire families lives if not put some sort of control to it.
Because obviously people are not capable of controlling their bad habits such as this one on their own.
They all need help before it gets to far like this has shown as a tragic example for all to witness around the world. Embarrassed

Gambling is just like drug addiction. We all know that it is bad, but it is not possible to stop it completely. If the government bans it, then the gambling scene will move underground. In the end, there will be zero benefits, and the government will lose valuable tax money. Also, if it moves to the grey zone, then the gambling sector becomes very difficult to monitor.
A grey zone?
Well it shouldn't be then and all casinos AROUND THE GLOBE should be regulated due to this incident having happened and innocent lives lost. And no matter if they are trying to hide from the laws with positioning themselves in places that their govenrments turn a blind eye too like in Montenegro or Central America where they are not paying any sort of taxes thus not being regulated.
45  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-06-15] Bitcoin tumbles 12%, erases gains for June on: June 17, 2017, 08:31:36 PM
It being on CNBC news does not bode well for the cryptocurrencies exposure to the masses. Especially to the new members to the bitcoin community.
They are not use to such flucuations when they have just started using it and might cause them to shy away from it now after losing and it continuing to losing it value it gained very rapidly in late May and into June.

I disagree-it being on CNBC or any other news outlet is good for exposure
in this case there is no such thing as bad publicity,I bet half of the people watching didn't know what bitcoin was
as for the price fluctuations,it is not the first time we see such a drop
it is not only bitcoin that took a dive, look at ETH- almost 25% wiped in a day

bitcoin is bouncing back as we speak, probably going back to 2600$ mark

You are correct on that sir.
It has bounced back like a dead cat Cheesy to be at over $2600 at $2622 last time I check over an hour ago.

So it does not matter after all where this bad publicity comes from after all I guess. Undecided
46  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: fees? on: June 17, 2017, 08:29:31 PM
Looks like the May fee craziness has settled a bit overall.

https://jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/#3m

It looks so out of place that it seems artificial in some ways...
It does seem to be settled at 0.0012-0.0015btc now from casinos to exchanges after doing a withdrawal from each of those accounts.
0.0012btc(from 0.0005btc last week) for me at yolodice and 0.0015btc(from 0.0005btc three weeks ago) on Yobit.
Those are the only sites which I have accounts with so I can not speak for everybody else's experience with the increases in higher fees they need to pay now to do the same thing as before with these sites and their services.
47  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice Websites on: June 17, 2017, 08:24:41 PM
Check out this website: https://thebitcoinstrip.com/leaderboard.html for the most trustworthy, well-established Bitcoin casino websites.
Make sure that the casino you're playing on is provably fair and that there are no scam accusations against them.
Personally, crypto-games is my favorite for playing Dice due to it's 0.8% house edge.
Nice site to check the latest stats on these casinos.

But which ones are the casinos which use the last part of the review page?

Popular altcoins

Many casinos offer gambling in alternative cryptocurrencies.

    DOGE — 11 casinos
    LTC — 10 casinos
    PPC — 6 casinos
    NMC — 3 casinos
    CLAM — 2 casinos
    ETH — 2 casinos
    DASH — 2 casinos
    DRK — 2 casinos
    RDD — 2 casinos
    XPM — 1 casinos

Those casinos are not listed and when you click on each alt coin they don't display which ones are the ones which take these alt coins for gambling with.
Which is what I thought would happen when I clicked on each coin just to see those lists being displayed for each.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Monero Fantasy Football League 2017 on: June 17, 2017, 07:07:52 PM
Monero is a very good altcoin worth investing, and I believe there are a lot of monero user out there so starting a Monero Fantasy Football League might be workable, but to start off with 1 XMR buy in might not be very attractive, as players might want to familiarize themselves with a couple of games first before deciding to deposit higher amount.

I agree with you on this.
Monero is the best solution for casino operators looking for an alternative to use as opposed to using bitcoin due to the high fees to send out withdrawals and the wait times for the deposits they take to reach their players accounts

Their has been increases to the withdrawal fees for all casinos now. Lips sealed

50  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: fees? on: June 16, 2017, 07:55:01 PM
These high fees are just becoming the norm now.
It's like if you can't pay the fee then don't use bitcoin! Tongue
Is what the miner's are saying to everybody using it in their everyday to day transactions.

52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Potcoin have you heard of it and is it available on this forum? on: June 15, 2017, 05:21:56 PM
I just heard about this alt coin just the other day and did a search on it but did not find any results.
So is this a so called "LEGIT Cheesy" coin offered?
Pun intended. Wink
53  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammed 60 BTC or 851 ETHER by Changelly.com BEWARE! on: June 15, 2017, 05:19:55 PM
I've used changelly alot over the past month and have never had any issues with them.
Although I never sent as much as you did.
That is a lot to sent all at once to a site anyways.

Contact support cause their site might have some kind of stop approval process put in place when someone transfers that much on their site.

56  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: June 15, 2017, 05:13:42 PM
There is no particular strategy to winning at dice. Undecided

You just put in your amount you want to wager then you press "Roll" and just pray it goes lower or higher then your pick.

That's about it really. Embarrassed
