Nah, the buy side just got rekt from MasterTrader's dump.

It will recover.

Edit:  The majority of people seem to think the new masternode requirement is a good thing.

We need a better easier implementation of the masternodes. I don't know why I cannot easily just setup a masternode . I have everything in place for that, but yet it doesn't work and I cannot make it work. lets get what is actually enabled in this coin to work properly with little effort.  for you people that will say I don't know what im doing etc.. instead just give me some examples how you overcame my obstacles instead. If im the only one other than dbs that has had this problem.. then I'd say out of the 200 odd users this coin has a long way to go for adoption.

Nowhere near 200 users.  Just 200 masternodes!

I wonder what happened to the masternode contest?

Care to comment MasterTrader?

agreed, I see some ip addresses with multiple instances of mn running.. are those only Linux models?

Nope, I have 10 nodes on a windows based aws server.

The masternodes appear to be functioning properly, its usually your ISP blocking the connection when you've properly forwarded the port and it's still not working.

I agree. Can you explain how to setup an aws instance?

cannot seem to get masternode to work. I followed the suggestions in OP but when I input 'masternode start' in console, I keep getting "not capable masternode: Could not connect to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:9999"   any idea whats wrong?  Windows 7, and I have 8bit open in firewall

Did you open port 9999 on your router/modem?

yes, sent exactly 112 8bit to an address in my wallet, generated the masternode key, etc.. just cant seem to get past the error

Meh, I had the same problem.

I eventually threw in the towell and got an aws instance

meh.. I give up.. wallets should not have this issue. out of 200 coins I have setup , this one has stumped me. I even ran a dmz and no go. I suspect its something else. Is the wallet im running the latest?  v2.0.0.0-g

Why the WIN wallet is so heavy on CPU, and so-o-o-o slow to sync..?  Huh

It takes ages to sync when open a wallet after 1-2 days. Also eats twice more CPU power than any other QT wallet. Also freezes from time to time (not responsive during 2-3 sec). Is it the same with others, or its just on my PC..?

I noticed that too, I think it has something to do with the 100 connections and masternodes. one lockup and restart was required today.

ok.. how to set a masternode?

Thanks.

can anybody give me a instruction for that?

Check the gravitator section on ur wallet , you need at least 25k coins to set up the masternode

will my wallet send coin automaticly?..or i have to send 25k coin to that address manually?

and one computer can only set up 1 masternode? right?

Thanks. Smiley
you have multiple 25k ?
lol wow
do you want to sell me one of those 25k?
i only have 4000 coin  Undecided
sheesh redneck millionaires.. Grin

locking and unlocking this wallet seems to be flaky.. sometimes it doesn't unlock for some reason. I cant send coins right now , not sure why.

They might be staking.

nope, but had to restart wallet and leave it locked , then make the transaction and input the passcode then.

is masternodes active? I do not think so. Because everyone is getting 30 coins per block. otherwise masternode should have take %50

check your total coins.. you will notice that 50% of your stakes are not there

This address is getting half of all of them.

So right now 1 gravitator node is getting half of all pos blocks??  wtf?

How many coins do you need for that?

its in the op but im too lazy to look I think its 26000 coins to have a gravitator node
