41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: December 21, 2017, 12:09:02 PM
I have been seeing Bitcoins' price rising with a stability in its growth, but due to the higher mining fee that is being levied on transactions these days, big businesses are now moving their funds towards alts and taking advantage with their least fees as well as shaping a completely new economy in the trends of altcoin markets. Do you think this may harm Bitcoin's dignity and open up a chance in real for alts to rise?

Even though it is hard to predict but with the high cost leavied on transactions when using bitcoin I can see people trading the alt coins to bitcoin in 2018. There will be lot of competition next year as other coins will accelerate  in growth and attention will be shifted to them. Guess what? Expect the value of bitcoin to come down.
42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving Bitcoins for your Children. on: December 20, 2017, 10:14:15 PM
Like every other investment such as real estate, stocks and other forms of investment we know that you can invest in that kind of things and then you get something like say a Certificate or a Binding Document as a proof that you are part of that investment, now that of bitcoin all you have is just your address, your password, key and seeds as proof of the ownership of the wallet.

BTC

So now if one is considering buying bitcoins and saving for his/her children in the future is there any way to do that with bitcoins apart from having to write down your details somewhere. I'm asking because with that kind of stuff if no one knows your seeds or password no one can get the coins. Huh Huh Huh

I think some corganization are already springing up with cryptocurrency investment. bitcoin is an digital money and all investment and transaction one with it are done online, your login details is your only proof of ownership.

Having a monthly bitcoin savings for your children is not the issue but considering the fact that economy also determine the future of bitcoin in the market, its indeed a geat investment if bitcoin continues on the trend it going but you need to prepare for unforeseen circumstances that could make bitcoin if tomorrow turns otherwise, also you need to consier ther factors such as security of your
43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If people stop buying bitcoin on: December 20, 2017, 07:24:25 AM
People are buying bitcoin today because of high demand by the time the demand is low that will be good for the market if people stop buying bitcoin, attention will ve diverted to other alternative coins, some coins will also have opportunity spring up into the market and people will go for the little coins that have tendency of rising up.
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 Bitcoin Prediction on: December 19, 2017, 10:45:30 PM
Most investors will become aware that besides Bitcoin, there is Ethereum, Litecoin, Dash and IOTA. Mark Lurie, CEO of Biddable says that for investors, there is going to be a strong move toward diversifying crypto-assets and managing investments the same way that investors look at more traditional assets and investing.
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What did you learn from Bitcoin? on: December 19, 2017, 10:26:27 PM
Prices can climb far further than you'd ever think possible.
On looking at bitcoin in 2013, I thought that the meteoric rise that bitcoin had already enjoyed was almost unbelievable. Going from less than $0.01 to $100 in the span of just a few years was extremely impressive, especially in an environment in which bitcoin use was a lot more limited than it is today. Yet rising adoption of the cryptocurrency and increasing difficulty in mining bitcoin helped shift supply and demand to make prices rise, and we're still seeing the positive momentum continue even with bitcoin having gone well into four-digit prices.
46  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: December 19, 2017, 10:01:38 PM
It is good to have a savings but better to an an investment. Saving money does not add anything to the owner and does not make any effect on the economy of a nation but when you good investment of money when the return comes your family will smile at you.
47  Other / Off-topic / Re: What will the world be like in 100 years on: December 19, 2017, 09:50:51 PM

49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do if Bitcoin Price Crashes on: December 19, 2017, 08:55:32 PM
If Bitcoin crashes most of the early investors will have nothing much to lose because they have benefitted from the growth in bitcoin in the past few years. For the new bitcoin holder they will need to invest fund that will not wreck them in case bitcoin crashes tomorrow.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin overcome Paypal? on: December 19, 2017, 08:47:20 PM
I wish something would "overcome" PayPal. How they can get away with 6 month confirmation times, and call themselves "new Money" is beyond me.

To answer the OP - Will oranges replace sausages? They are totally different things, as are Bitcoin and PayPal.

No one knows what can happen next to the cryptocurrency world especially when it comes to bitcoin,  we never predicted that it can be 2900$ per bitcoin as it was only a few cents years earlier.

As for Paypal I don't think it can measure up to bitcoin again with the rate at which people are becoming enlighten and investing in it. Some business now accept Bitcoin for transaction to Paypal

51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think digital currency will ever replace paper money? on: December 19, 2017, 08:34:07 PM

I can see cryptocurrencies replacing physical or paper currency within the next five years all over the world
Beyond the noise and the press releases the overwhelming majority of people – even bankers, consultants, scientists, and developers – have a very limited knowledge about cryptocurrencies. They often fail to even understand the basic concepts.
