I haven't really been into bounties for some time now, so I can't say I have made much from bounty. I do have some friends who made quite a reasonable sum from bounties. It all depends on how hard you work and how well you are able to choose good bounties to participate.

Loss is one thing to expect in crypto. Its very evident. You don't have to beat yourself up for that and decide to quit. You get and determine to do much better and be more alert.

You are right. Having a whole lot of coins in one's wallet doesn't make the person a good investor. Knowing when to sell for profit is the main thing cos those coins might turn to water before you realise it.

The article is a good one. It will really be useful most especially to newbies joining cryptocurency. And the advice is to stick with a secure wallet and make sure your PKs and phrases are just for you alone.

One thing I noticed recently is that this same devs thta blame hunters for dumping has come out with a new strategy to dump their own token. They create and start up a bounty and in the process dump their token just same time dumpers rewards are distributed thereby blaming the dump on hunters.

I definitely would prefer IEO instead of ICO peojects. In my last comment, and I still stand by it, ICOs should be stopped. Its better we have IEOs where the sales are conducted by good exchange and at least sure of the project listing.

Am still of the opinion that ICOs should be stopped for now. Those scam projects are making it huge off gullible investors on a daily basis. I will only say sales should be allowed to be conducted in reputable exchanges and with good checks. The scam rate of ICOs is becoming too much.

Yes I agree that research goes along way in ascertaining which bounty to join. Mad this time, its no longer how many bounties you join that matters but how many actually paid at the end. Sometimes, I tend to give up and just call it quits but the courage to strive in hard times keeps me going.

This kind of post might be considered as a typo error in my own analysis. When you see such posts, it's better to alert the bounty manager and hear him or her out first before running into conclusion of deception. I know a case like this where the manager was alerted and she was so humble and thankful.. It's not also to say some managers ain't deceptive. There are bounties posts you see such too and the manager won't have reasonable explanation or response to it.

I don't think it's humanly possible to get to someones wallet just by combining random numbers on your own. If that is possible, most wallets would have been hacked. No one should even try that futile attempt because its a complete waste of time.

Doge coin as I heard has been static for some time. Upon that, the project has remained strong though. If you wanna buy, go ahead but at your own risk cos nothing is guaranteed from where I stand. As for me, I will look for other coins with reasonable price movement to invest in. Come to think of it, Cryptopia exchange saw the last of my Dogecoin holding. Wish I saw the news early enough, would have withdrawn.

Please, I don't want to hear anything scam when it comes to ETN because it will really break my heart. I bought that coin at ATH and today what I see is not anywhere near my capital.. It's really painful.

I used to get worked up over a loss in cryptocurrency not until I realized that these losses can be mitigated using the right investment strategy. Investing and holding a coin is not the issue here, the issue is knowing when to sell. The most successful investors are those who know when exactly to sell. And to do that, one need doses of patience so as not to fomo and sell at loss. The difference between the rich and the poor is simply the ability to know the right time to sell.
I agree with you. Right behavior at the right time always makes you lucrative. But, this right time theme is not just about selling. You should also behave at the right time when you get. Whta do you mean by behave at the right time when you get? Am trying to get the message. May be a typo though. I think the poster said it all, investing is not the issue but monitoring and keeping areas of your investments.

There was only announcment about Fantom and Binance cooperation, but that doesn´t mean that Fantom will be listed on Binance exchange, but it is highly possible ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) . Hahahaha.. The way news fly and get twisted these days. Am just hearing about the Fantom. This might be another way of advertising the coin. Investors should be wary though. It's better to confirm this news on binance.

Is it possible a bounty provider or bounty team as the case maybe send more than what you earn on the spreadsheet to your wallet? I was reading in a bounty group where sone one said he got more than 1million token when the whole bounty pool is just 9million . won't that affect other bounty hunters from getting their reward?
This is unbelievable as the bounty managers, the ones I know can't make such mistakes. Imagine that, when they even reduce the tokens of participants to keep for themselves. Yes, I have come across such bounty managers, greedy ones. It will be very rare and unbelievable if this actually happened.

Simply because they have no value, and you don't sell it anywhere. Some may sell but prices are too small for us to trade. So I think it's a reluctance to keep those altcoins in my wallet.
Some times it's good to keep such shitcoins because on a long run some turn out gold coins.. Lol.. Seriously, we need to be optimistic and patient in crypto, thats the only way to succeed. A coin might be of no value today but of a great value tomorrow.

The crypto market is getting new people everyday, Because the crypto coin trading system and the high price of bitcoin. Btcoin is being popular over the world. After hitting 19K USD, Lots of people came here and more people is coming in the crypto platform. But, is it good news for us or bad? What do you think?
This can't be a bad news dude. The question is just strange. In any business, more customers or investors are wanted. It's never too much. To gain more in crypto is a sign there's hope for cryptocurrency. Let more adoptions and investors come. The space is much to contain everybody.

I joined crypto last year as a noob, then started learning how to trade & do airdrops. I kept learning until I decided to start trading myself. I got rekt on several occasions yet I kept the fire burning. I became tired of the hustle after buying into a coin which was delisted causing a massive dip, I had put in 5000$ in that coin and it turned 600$ overnight. Then I decided to take a bow.
I was encouraged by my mentor not to give up, I took it as a cock and bull story initially, I created a bitcointalk account later, scrolling through some forums just reading and learning from pro in crypto space. I decided to give it a second one try.
I added a few coins to my portfolio and abandoned them. Recently I got sacked from my job for no justifiable reason, then the only thing I could think about is crypto. I checked my portfolio yesterday, my 600$ then turned 7200$. Please always be patient. Buy into coins with great future , give it time, never panic sell. I hope you learn from my experience.
Wowww.. What an experience. Can you share some of those coins you bought, am looking for such coins as well. The ones I bought and abandoned never gave me any encouragement. I wish I can get coins to give such experience at short a time.

The disturbing thing in the space currently is that there is barely new ideas coming into the space, most of them are doing the same thing but just promising speed and scaling solution, why do we need to create new tokens for an idea to improve Ethereum. This is a bad thing and we likely resulted in alot of people losing money
And I was talking to someone about this some days ago, the debate was so blind that I had to leave.. If only regulation will stop new projects from coming into the space and focusing on developing the existing ones, there will much difference. I don't see any new project now with a different idea, all I see is copycats.
|
|
|
From my point of view, regulation can help the crypto-currency world to start a completely new frontier in its development, but the only other thing is that crypto-currencies today have very great opportunities in anonymity, but this problem will soon be resolved.
I think the anonymity part when it comes to cryptocurrencies is actually why regulations is needed. If the crypt ocurency projects are transparent, vividly transparent when it come to the team and devolpers, I think the kind of fraud recorded won't be so high.
