41  Economy / Economics / Re: China tells people to buy gold & silver on: May 02, 2018, 07:49:50 PM
It would be really amazing if the Government of some country would recommend its citizens to invest in bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies. I think when Government is going to allow to invest in bitcoin, it will not be as profitable as it is now.
42  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is Bitcoin still a slave of Fiat? on: April 30, 2018, 11:14:26 AM
I completely disagree with the position that bitcoin is completely dependent on conventional currencies. It surpasses them in its properties. That is why for a long period of time bitcoin is growing in price.
43  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin 10.000$!!!! What's Next? on: April 30, 2018, 11:08:13 AM
I think that in the  near future bitcoin may exceed last year's highs of $ 20,000 per coin. If this happens, it will quickly reach levels of 50-60 000 US dollars and this is not the limit!
44  Economy / Economics / Re: The advantages of bitcoin on: April 30, 2018, 11:05:19 AM
Bitcoin has advantages both as an investment tool and as a means of payment.
Since there is no way for third parties to identify, track or intercept transactions that are denominated in Bitcoins, one of the major advantages of Bitcoin is that sales taxes are not added onto any purchases. You can also use mobile payments - you can pay everywhere if you have Internet access.

45  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin in developing countries on: April 30, 2018, 10:59:37 AM
I think that there will be no mass investment in bitcoin in developing countries. Firstly you need to understand many things concernin cryptocurrencies (at least in the question of wallets) In addition, many people would be  stopped by the negative attitude of the authorities towards bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.
46  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Some Gurus still think Bitcoin can go 5500 level! on: April 25, 2018, 07:35:18 PM
I guess, it is more likely that the price of bitcoin will aim at the level of $ 20,000 per coin. Although, of course, there will be small price drops, but now the trend has changed to bullish.
47  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buying from ICO or trading altcoin. on: April 25, 2018, 07:32:17 PM
The ICO market has changed a lot. I do not recall in the last few months some companies that would increase capital at times. I think that there will always be an opportunity to buy these tokens on the exchange cheaper than the price of placement.
48  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: where do you get your predictions? on: April 25, 2018, 07:29:54 PM
If you want to get predictions about price of cryptocurrency will increase or decrease you can join a lot of trading signal group or use some auto bot like Gunbot. Beside you can know it by collecting the new and see to know this news will have good or bad effect to the price of these cryptocurrency. For me, I'm not often collecting news on online newspaper about cryptocurrency, I just collect the news about the cryptocurrency I'm trading through coinmarketcap or twitter.

Indeed, the telegram is full of different groups with predictions and signals on cryptocurrencies. It is another matter how much you can trust these signals, especially for automated trading systems.
49  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how often do you check BTC price and how to cope with stress? on: April 25, 2018, 07:27:33 PM
This depends on many factors. When I was buying bitcoins with credit money, I checked the price every 5 minutes. Now, when I invest only on my own money, I check the price once a week. As they say, feel the difference.
50  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Invest in Bitcoin before April 27 on: April 25, 2018, 07:24:48 PM
I did not understand what should happen on April 27, so that the price of bitcoin rose sharply and we increased our capital by hundreds of times? Or is it just such a motivational text to make people invest in bitcoin faster?
51  Economy / Economics / Re: How will crypto go long term? on: April 25, 2018, 07:20:27 PM
In the long term, both bitcoin and altcoins from the top ten will only grow. But the rest of altcoins against the background of bitcoin growth will not grow much. This is my personal opinion)
52  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin 10.000$!!!! What's Next? on: April 25, 2018, 07:18:18 PM
As practice has shown, large funds just dropped bitcoin. This is understandable - it was interesting to come at a minimum price and then have to chase the price upward. So, I am not happy with the arrival of institutional investors on this market.
53  Economy / Economics / Re: Earnings without risks for beginners on: April 25, 2018, 07:14:44 PM
It seems to me that bounty campaigns are  more profitable tools than Airdrops. Especially, if you initially choose the right campaigns and simultaneously participate in subscription campaigns and social networks.
54  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price will be over $20k again next week or in 2018? on: April 25, 2018, 07:10:53 PM
As can be seen from previous reports, some colleagues thought that bitcoin would grow without falling. As the market hasshown, it is not so) But now the trend has changed to bullish and the price for one bitcoin can can easily achieve  $ 20,000 USD.
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to get Cryptocurrency Job?? on: April 25, 2018, 06:46:06 PM
I am sure that in any case it is necessary to have a certain qualification. All the more, this applies to crypto industry. It will be necessary to spend considerable resources of time, money, training before you achieve any serious results. So the only advice - try to communicate more with those who have already achieved certain results in this area.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: An (even more) optimized version of cpuminer (pooler's cpuminer, CPU-only) on: May 16, 2015, 12:43:10 PM
hello i have a question . i registered myself in the site(http://dgcx11.mining.wtf/) but when i run my minerd (cpu mining) it gives me boooo  . can anyone tells my why?

cpuminer doesn't support X11 based coins. Try to mine some coin that is based on sha256d or scrypt.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NobleCoin[NOBL] - 8% PoS | 1Yr+ | MARKETPLACE | PAY | GIFT | CHARITIES/MERCHANTS on: May 10, 2015, 07:04:26 PM
I try to transfer NOBL coins from an old wallet to a new one. I found this recipe:

https://github.com/eagleflies/noblecoin/wiki/Manual-way-of-importing-private-keys

This works but I can only transfer coins those were received (like mined in a pool). I have several blocks those were 'generated' when I tried solo mining. I cannot transfer "generated" coins because there is no address and account assigned to those transactions.

I found solution for this problem. Address for generated block can be found with command "getrawtransaction TXID 1", the last 1 in the command is important, it activates verbose mode.
Code:
getrawtransaction <txid> [verbose=0]

GUI client with parameter "-salvagewallet" found all mined blocks too but I wanted to use CLI client, that can be used in scripts. This is a recipe for GUI way, it works well:

https://github.com/eagleflies/noblecoin/wiki/Importing-private-keys-from-old-wallet.dat-using---salvagewallet-option

Update:  I received an advice that address of generated block can be found in block explorer:
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/noblold/

Is there a way to transfer "generated" coins to the new wallet?
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [XMG] M7M CPU mining discussion thread on: May 10, 2015, 11:04:54 AM
I play with "magi-minerd.git" miner. When I add parameter --extranonce N to the command line, miner starts to print debug messages about "Get work" blocks. I tried to add parameter "--quiet" but it has no effect in this case. Is it a bug? Parameter --extranonce N is troublemaker, without it, miner is silent.

Code:
# ./minerd -s 5 -t 1 --url http://localhost:55881 --userpass user:secret --extranonce 26342 -q
[12:54:34] Binding thread 0 to cpu 0
********************************** Get work ***********************************
nVersion:       4

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Other issue with parameter --extranonce is that short version (-e) is rejected by minerd as invalid option

Code:
--extranonce
(-e N) Extranonce to displace miners using the same getwork server

# ./minerd -s 5 -t 1 --url http://localhost:55881 --userpass user:secret -e 26342
./minerd: invalid option -- 'e'
minerd version 1.0.2
....

BTW, I miss a parameter to print minerd version, like -V, --version
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: scrypt is "memory intensive" therefore no ASICs, but how? on: August 21, 2014, 10:30:41 PM
I checked PCB of ZEUS scrypt miner. I see it has 6 ASIC chips, 1 USB chip, several voltage regulators but no memory chip. It is possible that there is small amount of RAM memory in each ASIC. ASIC chip is small, so I guess the onchip memory has to be small. How is it possible?
