Yes I do. Especially if I'm tempted to go in big on a project or if it has too much hype. Then again, I do bounty hunting and I have to read the whitepaper of anyone I intend writing an article for. I check their roadmaps too sometimes. Tip: check executive summary in first 3 pages of whitepaper

Airdrops are probably better because you can be a part of many projects. But how many bounties can you take part in at a time? Bounties are more stressful and time consuming. Fortunately I've seen some projects this year who did only airdrop and they are good enough
