Why isn't this coin working? I have tried different miners and different pools and can not get anything to work.
use sgminer 4.1 with darkcoin kernel (sgminer.exe -k darkcoin) and you will mine it  Any link to this? Thanks  . So the latest version (4.2.3) doesn't work with this coin? Seems odd. |

There seems to be some confusion as to what our symbol is. It would help if the dev decided and put it in the OP thread and title. Poloniex has it listed as SRG and cctrade has it listed as SUR. Which is it?

Interesting coin. Catalonia wants independence, this could help. The same goes with Basque Country if such a coin were invented and anyone else trying to establish independence.

My name is Max,I live in Republic of Moldova.I'm 24 years old.A couple of months ago I've started to be interested in mining.I have made a farm with 3 video cards(SAPPHIRE R9 270X 2GB GDDR5) about 1.4 MH/s.Well,everything went well since a couple a days ago..My little brother(aged 20) was involved in kinda drugdealer(he was selling drugs).I know this is sh**ty kind of "business" i have told him a f*ckin thousand times that it is very dangerous and slicky thing.Well this happened,he was caught by cops,little dumbass,in his bag they found amphetamines,couple of extasy and marijuana.And by now he sits in jail until the criminal investigation is running.I sold my farm,my car in order to earn some money to pull him out there(as the majority of you should know that in this corrupted countries all of the cops,lawyers and prosecutors can be bought but with a lot of money).Our mother(dad has left us long time ago) is depressed,she don't know what to do and so on.Well we earned as many money as we could by selling everything that has some value.I am beggin' the community to help me in this kind of situation to help my little stupid brother,in order to donate some satoshi's as much as you can....
I understand it sounds like a fake or something but believe me it's not...It all depends on you if you believe or not..I don't know what else to do just try to request the community to donate as much as you can...Thank you for your attention and I hope that together we can help each other...

Sorry but without proof we could never believe you. There are LOTS of scammers on here, all with a similar story, ultimately asking for money. I am sorry to hear about what happened to your brother, but he committed a criminal offence, knowing it was illegal and it sounds to me like you are asking us to donate money to you so you can pay the judges and cops off, which is asking us to support corruption, which is also illegal. My best advice would be for you and your brother to stop breaking the law. If you get caught trying to bribe a judge or police officer and the judge/officer is 'clean' (doesn't take bribes) then you could also end up going to jail. |

Guys. How do I know if I'm staking or not? I've had the CommunityCoin wallet open for a while, but do not see any stake.
In the BlackCoin wallet, I can see on the bottom right corner that tells me the estimate of when my next stake is coming.
Do I need to activate the staking in the CommunityCoin wallet, or just wait and it will come?
Feedback would be much appreciated.

Wait, what? So I missed the 'fair distribution'? One weeks worth of distribution is fair? Are you serious?
Distribution started several weeks ago But this thread was created 9 days ago, how does 9 days = several weeks? I do hope I make it through as the coin does look good and I like the distribution idea, but distributing all coins in 2 weeks seems hardly fair. There are many active members on here that will not see this due to the sheer size of bitcointalk.org. I think 6 months would have made more sense. Anyway, here is to hoping I get into the second round as I am a active member of this community, nearly 3 years I have been here, with around 600 posts, so hopefully that is good enough . there was another thread which was closed because some guy who didn't get accepted ask the moderator to close the thread. Ahh ok, that makes more sense. In that case the coin does seem a lot more fair. I do wish it would run a little longer but it's much better than I initially figured. Hey @Chris180Z,

Could you explain more about the Kimoto Gravity Well please?
This coins now seems near impossible to mine, even though difficulty is only at 2.9 right now, considerably less than a few days ago where I was getting 10 coins per night and now I am only getting 2 per night. How does this make any sense?
1mh/s generating 2 coins per 12 hours on 2.9 diff seems a little odd to me on a coin that has a max supply of 60 million.

Good job so far, I like the sign up, the equal distribution and the amazing name. I actually had plans for a COM (Community) coin in the works and a few weeks ago I started working on the graphics and the coin, but I decided the market was too flooded with alt-coins anyway so I stopped. Glad I did now as you would have launched this when I would have been halfway through the design, which would have been money and time spent on a coin that already existed. Can anyone tell me the total amount of coins that initially exist before PoS? Thanks . |
