41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: will be Bitcoin centralized ? on: March 05, 2018, 11:53:24 AM
No, everyone doesn't want that to happen because it will be an disadvantage/destruction of Bitcoin's digital transaction/operation. If it will be centralized, it is a danger to everyone having bitcoins, future of Bitcoin will gone if that happens.
That may seem unthinkable right now, gradually developers start to accept as given that bitcoin needs inflation in order for it to operate based on hypotheticals, extrapolations, and mere opinions. There are technical issues that need discussing, tests to be made and so on. And i think if its for a government it will be centralized. It’s only security-through-obscurity that keeps it allegedly “decentralized” in eyes of the public. You can’t change the consensus itself   there’s no in-protocol on-chain governance.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will ETH beat BTC someday? on: March 05, 2018, 11:07:31 AM
Eth and Btc are very different from each other. Such a race is not very meaningful, I think.
I believe, Btc will always be a number one.
Many ICOs are now in development and allow us to use ETH blockchain; That is enough to see ETH more and more popular in the Altcoin market. This is the main factor that will help ETH to grow high in the near future, although it does not know the exact time but probably ETH will catch up with Bitcoin.
Both of them operate on blockchain technology, though BTC is a sole currency, while ETH is “smart contract” technology used by companies as huge innovation and potential to build apps, it is tough. While somebody has on the brain FOMO (fear of missing out) in the crypto world, a large percentage of Internet-users are beyond blockchain, digital currency, and consider Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) a long row to hoe until now.The prices of BTC and ETH go up or down on the basis of public supply and demand, it means that you won’t be able to compare the prices of the potential growth because lots of factors influence the possibility of its growth or downfall. But it does not mean that you can not use Market Cap to compare, as a real indication of the currency size. And for that i think there are posibilities that ETH beat BTC someday.
43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should we support altcoins ? on: March 04, 2018, 03:08:51 AM
For me, it is better to support altcoins too. Some of the had a great idea about their platforms and they have potentials to rise in the future. Altcoins are very useful to our marketing of cryptocureency. Altcoins can help bitcoin too, to be more popular and many pwople will realize the uses of bitcoin. But always look for the altcoins that has a great platform because some of them are scam or they are not successful in the future. Look for the altcoins that has a unique platform.
Yes of course, why not?. As long as it can help the people or the community it is best support altcoins too. Eventhough there are a lot of altcoins rising nowadays, but we should consider also to have an options aside from bitcoin. Mostly altcoins are profitable also like bitcoin just make sure to find the best one.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What need to do in this unstable cryptocurrency market on: March 04, 2018, 12:39:21 AM
We need to play our capital, move like a veteran trader and notice the current events in our technical analysis. The cryptocurrency is not really stable and if we will enter the world of crypto without having knowledge on how to have profits and we don't know how to avoid from a great loss probably, we will not meet our targets.
To put it bluntly, in order for cryptocurrencies to achieve broader adoption, they must be at least as good as those currencies against which they are competing. The market of this unstable cryptocurrency are depends on how investors put or apply it. Because currencies are judged by their ability to serve three functions  as a medium of exchange, a unit of account, and a store of value. To successfully serve these functions, a currency must be easily and broadly usable and demonstrate at least some level of value stability.
45  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think that bitcoin can reduce corruption? on: March 03, 2018, 02:39:38 PM
I think no, bitcoin can never be a solution to reduce corruption because bitcoin is a digital currency that only exist on a world of digital technology and created with a purpose to reduce the problems faced by common people while performing banking transactions on their daily life. Furthermore bitcoin can only prevent corruption on the blockchain because of the blockchain database that is more secure and the ledger is impossible to make any fraudulent act.
It may prevent corruption in theory absolutely. With an immutable, transparent ledger that is fully audit-able.The challenge comes from implementation. In the developing world its implementation would be in the medium-term and probably linked to any development funding. The prime aspect of blockchain that helps fighting corruption is its transparency. The blockchain not just stores all the transactions in a ledger but also makes it accessible to all the nodes in the network thereby providing a transparency to the users.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it too late to buy NEO? on: March 03, 2018, 10:19:01 AM
Now is the time to invest in the crypto currency, and NEO is one of the best investments despite the price ($ 124.15).
I dont think its too late to buy NEO but indeed it’s still early to get into NEO and other thing that are crypto-related. The massive profit opportunities aren’t over, they haven’t even begun. Long-existent blockchains, new blockchains, and tokenized blockchains such as NEO, Ethereum, and the rest will flourish.Looking at the NEO charts, it’s clear we may have another opportunity to get in on it. If you measure it the way you do other cryptocurrencies, then you probably can reckon. While it’s bad to let fear of missing out (FOMO) motivate purchases, with so many rocket ships heading for the moon lately, no one wants to miss their flight.

47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Philippines is starting to accept bitcoin. on: March 02, 2018, 03:47:40 PM
Nice to know that Philippines is started to accept bitcoin i hope all contry will follow soon and accept all alt coins too.
I think knowing that philippines accepting bitcoin both having a good and bad effect. The reason cryptocurrencies were invented was to avoid regulations. It maybe good because it can help the country economy and maybe bad because it will be controlled by the government through the bank to be centralized. As we know cryptocurrency is a digital asset designed to work as a medium of exchange that uses cryptography to secure its transactions, to control the creation of additional units, and to verify the transfer of assets. Cryptocurrencies use decentralized control as opposed to centralized electronic money and central banking systems. The decentralized control of each cryptocurrency works through a blockchain, which is a public transaction database, functioning as a distributed ledger. For further result on this,i think philippine government must do more discussion about this.
48  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin Volatility Be Controlled? on: March 02, 2018, 03:01:00 PM
We cannot control bitcoin's volatility. Fluctiations happen due to its changes on the supply and demand which is affected by many extenal factors such as panic selling, and that's normal. Volatility is not always bad anyway. Most of the time, traders and investors use this as their guide to become not too comfortable about bitcoin's price.
if fluctuations occur due to demand and supply, certainly people who have many bitcoins can manipulate it? for example when he has millions of bitcoins in his wallet, he can certainly sell a lot of bitcoin and then demand will decrease because the supply is too big and it will make volatile price changes ? it means the fluctuations can be manipulated?
In my personal opinion,i think we CANNOT control bitcoin Volatility.Like any currency, insufficient market demand could render such a system unstable. If enough people want to sell, the price will have to fall. It might be ideal to program the currency to maintain slight deflation, to make for a safer alternative investment to other cryptocurrencies.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC or ETH? on: March 02, 2018, 10:58:06 AM
Both have good potential to growth in future. Every crypto currency have different goals so ETH and LTC too. Ethereum is provide as ico platform which have consider as smart contacts where LTC is consider as virtual currency which is using for payment. So both have good future.
Personally, I see them both having a good value proposition, and being useful in different ways. ETH's contract-based infrastructure strikes as incredibly disruptive, and as a rule, I like well thought out disruptive endeavors. LTC strikes as a better, faster cryptocurrency with a lower market cap, and more consolidated development. So both are good for long term investment  and I tend to invest heavily in the direction that has the bigger upside.  Perhaps I should split my investing 50/50 regarding ETH and LTC.
50  Economy / Economics / Re: Positive thinking brings positive things. on: March 01, 2018, 11:03:36 AM
Forums are being filled with speculation, almost all topics that appear lead to falling bitcoin prices, whether this will continue, this is the right time to buy, blah blah blah. Come on, the storm must pass, let us focus on the positive topics instead of continuing to discuss this 50% decline. Start talking about the positive news from Singapore deputy, bitcoin that has gone up 20% today and others. Think positive and positive things will come.
Most of the time we are thinking about negativity, sometimes our mindset is not stable and all plan geting into faillure,so we need to focus in the heart of our positive side and all things brings into positive result, through bitcoin there is a posibility to reach our goal.
A positive outlook on life is arguable one of the most powerful assets you can have. Positive people expect success, good health, happiness, wealth and good relationships and those things tend to show up in their lives. This is not because they are already successful, or because they are more confident and thus more outgoing, it is simply the attitude. This is a basic law of attraction, positive thoughts breed positive results. Your thoughts are much more powerful than just electric signals between synapses, they affect your life and those around you.Positive thinking, transformed into positive beliefs, can be powerful in shaping our life, mind, heart and character.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The future of Ethereum (ETH) on: February 28, 2018, 12:38:19 AM
In my opinion ethereum is the best coin after bitcoin. so it makes sense if the potential of eth is very big in the future.
ethereum will be one of the coins that has always been the target of many people because they believe in its performance. Ethereum will continue to rise with bitcoin.
today there are a lot of questions around Bitcoin and therefore I will not put it even on the second place after the etherium. Despite the fact that eth has a lower price than bitcoin, this coin is much more stable and with better prospects for the future.
In the future, ether should continue to appreciate in value as “digital oil” for the blooming Ethereum network that one day may revolutionize society from the ground up. And as it stands right now, it really looks as if Ethereum and its associate fuel “Ether”have unlimited adoption potential in the decades ahead. That’s because you can build a seemingly limitless number of utilities atop of Ethereum. To this end, civilization itself may be running atop Ethereum in a handful of years if the project can live up to is promise.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How often do you join airdrop? on: February 27, 2018, 11:24:50 AM

Most airdrop are useless. Time is spent on them and tokens are sent for $ 10. It's better to waste time on the bounty!

Sure, bounty can be profitable. But airdrops don't take so much time
Although airdrops is profitable and some people prefer airdrops because of small time to be consume compare to any bounty, but I don't oftenly join airdrops because for me there is no assurance of your  token value,as we know that any token mostly given during airdrops are no posible value in the market. So better for me to do any bounty rather than airdrops.
53  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy in your country on: February 25, 2018, 09:38:58 AM
the economic impact of my country in the presence of bitcoin greatly helps our entire society, because with bitcoin, the economy in my country is very good, because for them, bitcoin really helps their needs in a way that is easy to get a good profit. .
In my country bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are adapted by few people only. So as of now due to lack of knowledge in bitcoin it has no sudden impact in the economy in my country. If people were educate and gain knowledge about cryptocurrencies it will have a positive impact I think in the economy.
54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do We Need Social Media Promotion on: February 24, 2018, 10:38:17 AM
yes the social media is the widest place where you can do your campaign because millions of people are connected in the social media every second. so any advert which is being done in the social media generate more audience than any other adverting media
Definitely yes, because it has a big impact to your project promotion. You should have social media strategy. A social media strategy defines how to achieve its communications aims and the supporting platform and tools. At a basic level it’s a simple statement of intent, outlining the goals and measurable objectives for using social media, and the target outcomes you want to achieve. It does this in the context of the overall business and community  plan so that social media isn’t in a silo but working in parallel with other channels. It isn’t a detailed plan of action, you’ll also need a plan but without a clear strategy, how do you prioritize the activities for a plan? Think strategy first, plan second. That's why social media is very important.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does price matter to you ? on: February 24, 2018, 10:04:13 AM
When the bull market comes, we always questioned why I didn't buy the tokens, however this is useless, because when the bear market comes, all the tokens will have a big fall, only keep a good mentality and promptly sold to profit in the end is good.
Most people assume that price is what matters most in a financial transaction. When you are raising money, you want to get the money at the highest price (least dilution). When you are selling, you want to get the highest price in your own profit. But that is not always the case. Price matters, but my experience says that it often does not matter the most. When you are doing an important financial transaction that brings a new influential investor into the company, price matters but is not the most important issue. The most important issue is the chemistry between the existing investors and the new investor and the reputation of the new investor.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Long vs. Short: Bitcoin and Alts on: February 23, 2018, 01:26:46 PM
Hey guys, which do you guys think is the most favourable coins for long and short trading strategies for the remainder of 2018?

Opinions, please!

For long run, I still think of BTC and ETH for sure.

As for short run, I would like to try investing on Litecoin.
They will be improving soon.
The surge of new money entering the market is a testament to the rising popularity of Cryptocurrencies. It is important to note that the introduction of newer coins coupled with cryptocurrencies extreme volatility may result in a change in the current market situation. Choosing which coin would be the most profitable in the short or long term can be extremely hard.Because aside from bitcoin and Ethereum, there are more than 1,200 coins and tokens to choose from. The profit potencial in investing altcoins is enermous, That's assuming if you have a little patience and go for fairly reputable altcoins.
57  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long term vs. short term investing on: February 23, 2018, 11:47:50 AM
There are a lot of people asking the same question, I even my self ask it a couple of times years ago but the answer stills hunts me. For a day trader, it could be more profitable if the market is very volatile, like a swing of more than ten percent in a day. But if the market is stable enough day trader won't earn much higher than a long term trader. A long term trader on the other hand, could be more profitable especially if they are holding a huge amount of coins if the price is gradually increasing. I prefer to do both, day trading if I have extra time and long term trading if pretty busy.
A general rule of thumb when investing is to diversify your investments. When it comes to investing, it is important to find the right balance for you and your individual situation, whether it be short or long-term investing, you should have clear goals in mind. Even if you are most interested in short-term investments, you should set aside a portion of your money for long-term investments. This will protect you if you were to lose your money because of a sudden market crash or bad investment. Investing is an important wealth-building tool and not something to avoid or be afraid of.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your biggest regrets in cryptocurrency? on: February 23, 2018, 10:50:57 AM
i am in cryptos since one year now and my biggest regret is, that i put in those days not more money (a few k instead a few hundred bucks) into coins like ethereum, dash and monero. it is absolutly crazy, if you compare their prices now with them from one year! Sometimes you just need balls  Wink
but it is how it is and you have to be satisfied with what you have
Mostly people regrets the biggest when they haven't grab the opportunity of what cryptocurrency may offer when it is on its peak. And i'm one of those people who regretted it. At first i have doubt about cryptoworld because of being such ignorant. But when you likely know more about it your realized and ended up regretting lately. This is a lesson you easily learn at a time like this, when prices have been falling for about a month. For many this is the first major dip in their trading & investment career. That determine your actions and emotions when you end up saying " I should have taken profits when the prices where up!”.
59  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think cryptocurrencies have the potential to overtake regular currencies? on: February 22, 2018, 11:36:20 AM
It's very unlikely, at least in the short period.
Firstly, there is no general acceptance: there is a lot of talking about cryptocurrencies, but they are still used by a limited number of pieoneers.
Second, when banks and governments will realize that there is the risk to lose their power, they will start a real war against crypto.
We'll see.
Normally when you use local currency in your country, you have only one. So the same thing will happen with other cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin. There are a LOT of cryptocurrencies out there. Some are traded and used as currencies, but none have the potential to overtake regular currencies even though Bitcoin is now mostly like the standard cryptocurrency.Regular currencies has its own protocols that give rise to a different monetary policy which appoint a bunch of clever people and tell them to stabilize inflation using interest rates and bond-buying. Considering a money supply rule that does not respond to shifts in money demand generates large fluctuations in prices. And since society tends not to tolerate outright declines in wages, these fluctuations often carry over into unemployment.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Can we trust Telegram Signal channel..? on: February 21, 2018, 08:59:52 AM
Forget about Telegram signal channels, the only way they will work for you is if you run one, and you'll only be making money by scamming other people into buying inflated price coins. I follow a couple out of interest because I like to see which coins they are trying to pump, but never bought in when they say. Most will just select already steep rising coins and put a signal out to ensure it rises further, especially ones with large followings. Then they will claim the lowest price as when they tipped it and the highest price to show their profit margin gain on their channel. I almost prefer the 'honesty' of pump and dump groups who state right from the outset that they are encouraging everyone to buy to falsely inflate the price before dumping. Better to join up to research channels who will point out coins that are worth looking at, but never say to buy them until you have done the research yourself. As the saying goes 'If it was that easy, everyone would be doing it'.
Crypto signals on telegram are wild,be careful if you blindly follow the signals you find there. And i agree to just forget about Telegram signal channels, because mostly its just worse pump and dump groups. Some of them publicly state that they are Pump and Dump groups, so at least you know that you are jumping into a significant risk for your capital. So consider research properly i doubt Telegram Signal Channel, its hard to trust right away.
