41  Economy / Economics / Re: With Hackers everywhere, How safe is Cryptocurrency? on: January 30, 2018, 11:10:15 PM
Its no longer news that an ICO in Japan has lost over $400 million to hackers. They promised to pay back investors who invested in their ICO. Thsi is a huge loss. After I read that news, I began to wonder. How safe is Bitcoin and Other altcoins? What measures should we take to avoid being hacked ?
In order to be safe and avoid getting hacked easily either you keep your bitcoin in an offline wallet where you have control over your own private keys, or if you are using an offline wallet you need to set the 2 verification option in it, so that when your account gets opened from a different IP it sends you a code that you need to enter to your phone.
42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can I transfer bitcoins to my bank account? on: January 30, 2018, 10:34:46 PM
Can I transfer bitcoins to my bank account?
There are two ways to transfer bitcoins to a bank account, direct way that is unsafe if you transfer them directly to a governmental bank account they will easily track your identity, they will sue you and question you from where you got the bitcoins, and there is the indirect way which i recommend you change your bitcoins to cash and simply transfer them to a bank account.
43  Economy / Economics / Re: The impact of bitcoin on the financial stability of a country on: January 29, 2018, 11:05:06 PM
What is the impact of bitcoin in a country's financial stability?

Bitcoin can help a lot of people that they have no job to actually earn some money from it, with just a simple access to the internet and basic knowledge about what bitcoin is, people can really make a good money out of it to cover a living, this helps the economy and the financial stability especially with the third world countries where unemployment is really high.
44  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin price so stable in 2018? on: January 29, 2018, 10:45:19 PM
I think it is still too early to say that Bitcoins price is stable this 2018 because the year has just started and it is still the first month of the year so I can't really compare yet its price to the coming months. However if I compare it from last year and this month, of course I would say the price had been stable around $10k-$12k or so because it hasn't move that much yet. And based on the recent years, Bitcoin has somewhat like a pattern every first month of the year so we will just have to wait for the right time and it will eventually increase its price soon.
You're right, Bitcoin is expected to take a step up again so we shouldn't rush and judge its price by only the first month of this year, in my opinion this quite stable price make sense because things are taking time to get fixed, like the fees for example which they had a huge impact on the descreasement of bitcoin recently they are getting fluid and solved, so we should just wait and cross fingers.
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is privacy ? Why does it matter on: January 28, 2018, 10:43:18 PM
People have been talking about privacy being a very big deal in blockchain transactions. Can you help me understand how will privacy help ? Preferably give an examaple to explain better. Thanks
Will you feel safe if someone prevent you from your privacy ?, privacy is an important thing especially in blockchain transactions, without it your money, your transactions and even your life will be exposed to danger , for example if someone with bad intentions can easily detect how much money you own or how much money you've sent or recieved, you will be in a very risky situation.
46  Economy / Economics / Re: do you really like crypto coin? on: January 28, 2018, 08:19:52 PM
i like it a lot because this crypto i change how to make study hard.. like when im schooling before, and now same crypto before you move forward in all coin make sure study first. in crypto i make profitable income he even not much. also all ico token its like a lot also they also make your profit if you joined thier project.
I'm a beginner here in this forum, and quickly i realised how this crypto coin become a life style for a lot of people, this experience started to change my own as well, i really like this crypto and i also believe that one day it will  hunt poverty and make it end,  unless everyone learn how to use it in a positive way not for a negative purpose.
47  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency Banks: needed? on: January 28, 2018, 07:30:49 PM
Thinking of certain investments in the project where they are planning to arrange a cryptocurrency bank! And I saw discussions about cryptocurrency banks and their "place" in our crypto-future, and, which is even more interesting, noticed that there is quite a number of those who are of the opinion that there is no need for cryptocurrency banks at all. Well, guys, we can discuss that forever, but how do you imagine then the communication with the so-called real world for the sake, e.g., of making deposits or obtaining a loan? How can the whole system function properly without cryprocurrency banks, which are anyway somewhere on the border between the real and crypto worlds?
The whole idea of using cryptocurrency is to be free of any government or bank that control your money and monitor what you do with it and violates your privacy, and having a crypto banks defies the whole idea besides why pay banks to keep your money where you can keep them by yourself in your own personal wallet.
48  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC HOLD or SELL? on: January 28, 2018, 01:49:55 PM
I have 70 BTC now (average price 7500 USD)

HOLD or SELL

I`m very worried about Bitcoin Cash.

I don't get it why people are frightened to hold their bitcoin, they kinda overdo when they think bitcoin is getting so low, it is occupying the top list of coinranking in markets and also expected to rise again and get to reach 25k soon, we hope! in the meanwhile you just need to wait and hold your btc because it is not a proper time to sell all your bitcoins, it is a moment of silence and we don't know what will happen next, so be patient you don't want to regret it later.

50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it even possible to regulate bitcoins? on: January 25, 2018, 09:52:07 PM
I mean how? Given it is completely decentralised.
It is yet unclear or uncertain how bitcoin can be regulated, especially with the transactions which they represent a difficult part to control, so the balanced regulation of bitcoin might be achieved partially and it is by the regulation of the financal exchanges between the user and the government but first bitcoin has to be accepted as legal currency or a legal payment method and that would be possible and also smart because if someone wants to exchange bitcoin into his bank account he will be obliged to pay taxes, so the government will be able to control and put bitcoin under a law and get fees as well.
51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fees are killing/have killed Bitcoin.... it is sad but true. on: January 24, 2018, 10:13:04 PM
Only a few years ago we had a growing number of shops here in berlin that you were able to buy food and/or drinks from for bitcoin. Right now there are no more of these stores left. And most of the sellers I used to buy things from on the big marketplaces now refuse to trade bitcoin too and changed to etherium. I know for those people that think that bitcoin is the new gold it is not that bad but bitcoin was "released" to be something completely different. Right now bitcoin is no real crypto currency at all. Buy a coffee for 2,5 bucks and pay 25 bucks fee.... sure.......... In my opinion bitcoin completely failed because of these fees and I sold every last satoshi and invested in other crypto currencies. Is there a single reason to stick to bitcoin? If yes, please feel free to tell me!

The fees have a big part in the failure of the price lately, actually people are getting to know bitcoin more worldwide and the community is getting bigger and difficulties as well, which caused the increasement of the transactions.
With a crowded system, and 250k unconfirmed trasanctions the dealers started to pay more to confirm their transactions in less time that's why for a certain moment the fees went as far as 80$ in the last 3 to 6 weeks thus its price decreased, but their attempt on ending bitcoin isn't positive since I believe it will rise again as the fees are around 0.5$, Bitcoin will top the world of crypto once again.
52  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why the bitcoin price goes down on: January 23, 2018, 08:35:15 PM
People got terrified after this tough period that bitcoin recently faced, but i think this price drop is reasonable and has many factors! First, the huge increasement during november and december bitcoin grew with more than 12k in less than two months so this is just descresement phase after the storm, second the transactions that went slow and lower caused by the bans in some countries, and third bitcoin is just a crypto, nothing is sure! we can expect price perturbations anytime.
53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: KFC to accept Bitcoin! on: January 20, 2018, 10:22:36 PM
That's a terrible idea, can't you imagine the mini heart attack you will have when you buy a piece of hamburger or some fried chicken and after a while the price of bitcoin will rise and you realise that you bought a quite worthless piece of meat for 200 dollars or more.
54  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reasons why Bitcoin is droping: on: January 17, 2018, 10:02:00 PM
The price of bitcoin is dropping nowadays since people stopped investing their money on bitcoin as its price is not stable so it's perilous and it might be an insecure way to develop their money besides the transactions are getting low, those changes has definitely brought influence on the price of bitcoin.
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ever dreamed about Bitcoin? on: January 17, 2018, 09:03:11 PM
If dreaming about your lack of knowledge and only getting to know bitcoin last year considered dreaming about it then you sure I did.
56  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if a person died with BTC!! on: January 17, 2018, 08:41:54 PM
It may happen I assure you, using all the bitcoins you gained years ago when you thought it was something trivial and somehow worthless then you get hit by the increasement of its value lately. Knowing you lost one of the biggest chances in your life to because rich, that's a one mini heart attack.
57  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in College??? on: January 16, 2018, 09:02:15 PM
It's not actually a bad idea if colleges start to deal with bitcoin, it can be taught as lessons in economics, business and finance also if they start to accept it in payment. For example students who problems with covering their colleges fees will be able in way easier to sign up and pay their semesters online.

59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Make Money in Crypto on: December 29, 2017, 08:54:51 PM
There are many ways to make crypto, most of people use forums, work and get money and others just simply buy cryptocurrencies and invest their money, fr example they buy bitcoin and forget about it, bitcoin increase its value and they start to make money.
60  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Falling...Is it Panic Time? on: December 23, 2017, 07:32:55 PM
It is a panic time, Most of bitcoin holders didn't expect this fall by now after a huge growing. we just hope Bitcoin won't loose its power.
