41  Economy / Speculation / Re: Impact of the pending ETF in September? on: August 31, 2018, 12:09:33 PM
Don't you think that this ETF is a distraction? How many times will the sit to consider approving the something they refused to approve previously?
42  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The world is going digital on: August 31, 2018, 11:45:26 AM
I heard this quote which add relevance to your discussion. 'Don't follow the crowd because the crowd will always come to the party late'. A whole lot of guys are waiting for the crowd, not knowing how far the adoption of bitcoin has gone.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How long will bounty programs stay with us? on: August 30, 2018, 03:25:57 PM
This question is a puzzle. IMO, bounty program will be here for a while. The reason is based on the seeming growing acceptance of cryptocurrency. As the days go by, new token projects are emerging with one ore more innovations while the existing ones are improving on their systems.
44  Economy / Speculation / Re: How to predict whales manipulation on: August 30, 2018, 09:28:15 AM
I noticed that bitcoin is in the eye of the press these days. Every little activity about bitcoin is carried in the news leading to speculations of manipulations and so on. These cries will now drive the governments to begin to clampdown on bitcoin and then we will begin to complain.

Bitcoin is getting more recognition by the day so not only can such a price rise or fall be traceable to whales, bears or bulls.
45  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will become of Bitcoin if the price keeps falling? on: August 30, 2018, 09:19:58 AM
The lower the price the better it will actually be, because it will enable more and more people to be able to afford bitcoin and as well increase adoption into mainstream.

47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are there any alternatives to Etherdelta? on: August 20, 2018, 03:43:54 PM
IMO, etherdelta is dead. Apart from the hack, the exchange has been deserted. Most of the Developers have left the exchange and when ahead to start their own different exchanges. Forkdelta, Idex, and there is a recent new version of Forkdelta.

Idex looks like the most trusted among the new ERC20 exchanges.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What other sites do you use besides CoinMarketCap for trade volumes? on: August 20, 2018, 03:28:51 PM
It is not out of place that everybody is routing for coinmarketcap. They are the foremost because they are authoritative. However, check on this and compare. https://www.worldcoinindex.com.
49  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Ohio the US State to Legally Support Blockchain Technology on: August 10, 2018, 06:55:03 AM
A legislation does not compel citizens to adopt the usage of a technology. It only give room to people to be relaxed in exploring the opportunity created, in this case, blockchian technology. It is a welcomed development. But I am looking forward to regulations that will engender mass adoption of cryptocurrency.
50  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can you make money when the market drops? on: August 10, 2018, 06:45:04 AM
I was expecting you to provide an example of how this your strategic works. Anyway, I think experienced traders would have developed strategies to make profit either way the market goes. If you do, please be kind to share some tips.
51  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ETF .. do we really need it? on: August 10, 2018, 06:34:35 AM
My opinion is that we need the bitcoin ETF. Yes, it might not get the needed education to all, but it a way to get many more people feel the effect of bitcoin. Who knows, they might seek the education latter.

53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thailand Legalize Crypto currency on: July 04, 2018, 05:16:49 PM
In an article they say that.  Approved Cryptocurrencies
The Thai Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) announced on Friday the details of the country’s cryptocurrency and initial coin offering (ICO) regulations. The measures were approved at the regulator’s June 7 meeting and are expected to go into effect later on this month, according to local media. “The proposed approach has been through public hearings in several channels,” MGR Online wrote.

55  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: List of bounty scammers (Avoid wasting time with them) on: July 03, 2018, 02:38:07 PM
Finally someone created this thread.

Can someone create a google form for us to submit bounty scammers? It is easier to track and refer.
just like what HCP said, how should it help? when the damage's already been done? it's not like you could turn back time and not join the campaign. You already joined and you were tricked. Deal with it. Just be vigilant next time on joining campaigns.

Lauda
   https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=101872

these are a few of my companies that have not paid and will not pay for the work - and the managers who led them. (This list does not include those managers who honestly indicated in the bounty link that the campaign was crooks and will not pay. I will continue this sheet when there is certainty with other companies)
Are you claiming that Lauda is some sort of scammer and didn't pay you for your Vivid Token Bounty work?
I highly doubt Lauda would be willing to risk the reputation she has for some bucks.
Every Bounty manager can fall into accepting a campaign before knowing it is a scam. I think what they need to do is to up their game of due-diligence on the developers before starting the campaign. It is a necessary step so that their name will not be dragged to disrepute. Lauda co-managed this campaign. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2483684.0. I am not sure it is conclusive.
56  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: HEXCASH A PURE SCAM ICO !!! on: July 03, 2018, 02:25:03 PM
another scam from Tokensuite after Hashcard, Greenish and few others. why people still silent. ?
People are talking. I saw this post about Needmoney, who is part of Tokensuites group. They handled Hexcash campaigns.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4578973.0

I think they need to up their due-diligence on their campaigns seriously.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook is going to launch cryptocurrency? on: July 03, 2018, 02:12:44 PM
Facebook is going to launch cryptocurrency?
Well what can we expect after hiring a blockchain expert, David Marcus?

Facebook Hires Coinbase Board Member To Lead Blockchain Initiative

And there's too many news so it's obvious now that they will create their facebook coin/token.

Facebook expected to launch own cryptocurrency following reports of hires to newly formed Blockchain team

Facebook Reportedly Considering Its Own Cryptocurrency

The news about Facebook launching own cryptocurrency is a welcome development for the entire crypto community because with their more than $533 present market capitalization they will blow the crypto market. Thanks for the supply of this amazing information. The news is timely.
Absolutely! This will apparently blow the news about the reality of cryptocurrency. Because all users of Facebook will definitely need the coin they will come up with for day to day use. And there will be so much conversions to or from other cryptocurrencies.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can we protect ourselves from scam? on: July 03, 2018, 02:07:26 PM
There is an answer to every question. There is a solution to every problem. It only takes time to discover the answer or solution. There are several scams that have been busted at an early stage of the campaigns. I think, there is no dedicated team set up for the screening of ICOs. The campaign managers who ought to be the ones taking the lead are not doing so, though there are managers who have put up structures that reduced scams in their platform.

One way I know could help is escrow. I think Bountyhive is using an escrow system to screen the campaigns they handle.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My advice to bounty hunters About needmoney bounty. on: July 03, 2018, 01:57:48 PM
Needmoney is not the only Bounty Manager with this issue of scams. Much as I will not hip all the blame on him, it is a good call to bounty hunters to avoid or blacklist managers with unsuccessful campaigns. That way, we will be sanitizing the bounty campaigns. I wish Needmoney shake off any impediments so that he can screen the campaigns he manages subsequently.

I joined the signature campaigns. I am impressed about the concept of this project.
